Aug 8, 2013 I have been in the process of making a map which I currently have in illustrator. I also downloaded some administrative boundaries which I have converted to a path in illustrator and am trying to overlay on top of this map.
The problem is, it just doesn't line up. If the top is aligned, the bottom and sides will be off.
Is there a way to select a few points on the path of which I know the exact position on the map and have illustrator warp, skew, resize the path and it will magically fit?
Lightroom :: Cropping Portrait Format To Landscape - Crop Is Not Rotated
Jul 6, 2013When cropping a portrait format to landscape format (same aspect ratio) AND rotate the crop slightly, the crop resets after clicking away from the image and back. It does not happen if the crop is not rotated.

May 25, 2012I want to crop an image visually, by sliding the cropping bars by eye. Not by typing in a specific size. How do I do that? My cropping tool seems to be set on some dimension. I've "reset" it, tried recropping from the "original" but still when I move the top horizontal bar in the cropping tool, it automatically is moving the vertical sides. As if a preset size/dimension/ratio is applied to it. Although I didn't apply any such dimension.

Apr 29, 2013It seems that with the 4.4 update a bug was introduced with the crop aspect ratio not staying locked when cropping. It changes to "custom" even though the lock remains. What do I do to maintain a standard photo size and not switch to custom? For printing purposes, I need the ratio to stay locked and dimensions standard.

Jun 18, 2013Using illustrator CC, I want to curve the bottom line of my text upwards, but not have the top or sides move at all. Imagine of the text was something squishy, and I pushed it down onto the top of an arc. I've only been working with Adobe CC for about a week now. I've seen lots of examples of having the text follow a curved path, but they all curve the entire thing, whereas I only want the bottom of the text to curve.

That s happening in both LR4 and 5. FURTHERMORE; if the crop is vertical , from a horizontal èpicture, the photo is opened in PS BUT the crop not maintened i.e the original sized photo is shown.

Jul 15, 2012I have a photo that I want to crop a little off the top and left side. However, the size of the photo must be 8 x 12. I set the aspect ratio to 8 x 12. Then on the photo, I move the line on the top and left to where I want it. The aspect ratio then goes back to original size. What am I missing?

Jun 22, 2013I and my colleguaes had found that crop tool in Lightroom 5 works less logical than in previous versions. As we had found, if we use crop once setting preset aspect (for example 3:4) and than if we'll try to crop once again with another ascpect (for example 16:9) it will be croped in correct proportion but just within the frame of previous crop. So if we do 4 crops with different aspect one by one, we'll got a very tiny part of picture. In previous versions of Lightroom, every next crop takes the maximum area of the photo.

May 6, 2012In Photoshop CS6, the moment you select the Crop Tool, a "cropping bounding box" appears instantly over the image. This didn't happen in CS5. In CS5 I would be able to click and start dragging the Crop Tool 'outside' the image and then drag into it so that my "cropping bounding box" (don't know what to call it) would snap to the edges of the image.
In CS6, since this box is automatically there already over the entire image, clicking outside the image invokes some unwanted rotation action.

Is there a way to apply a graduated filter so that I can increase make adjustments to the center, fading out towards the right AND the left? That is, the effect normally graduates towards an edge; I want it to be strongest in the center and fade towards both edges.
