Mar 17, 2013My PC crashed with both CS6 and Lightroom 4. . .I purchased a Mac Pro. Can I download the Mac versions of both programs and use my currenct serial numbers?

Lightroom :: 5 Crashed While Editing Image?
Jul 16, 2013Lightroom 5 has crashed while I was editing an image, and produced a pop up menu advising Lightroom 64 bit has stopped working and the only option is to close the program. This has never happened before and occured today after I upgraded Flashplayer.

Jan 25, 2012My computer crashed with lightroom open and when i opened it up the catalog had reverted to a year or so ago's pictures, so i looked at the catalog file sure enough there was a corrupted catalog file, so i deleted the locked one, like you're supposed to do, but the catalog still has the wrong pictures. I can do it the hard way and just re-import all the pictures, but i'd like to have the ones i had with my edits on them and not have to go through them all again.

May 3, 2013I have LR3 on a Mac running OS 10.6.8. My catalog, cache and images were stored on an external Lacie 1TB drive (partitioned so it can be used by a pc and mac). My catalog backup files were saved on another external drive MXTR as well as copies of all my images. The Lacie had started self ejecting while running LR3 and I thought it was maybe a problem with the cable, as it would work fine after rebooting. Yesterday it crashed LR3 and never remounted. I used Disk Utility to try and repair the disk and it instructed me to erase the disk and start over. I was not worried, since my catalog was backed up to another drive. . Another 2 hours to copy my images from the MXTR to the Lacie (again the drive never self ejected during this time either). So now I go to find my most recent backup catalog. The most recent one I could find was dated 2/09/2012. I am baffled. What happened all those times I was backing up? I upgraded to LR3 in 2011, and I don't remember ever telling it to backup to another folder or drive.

Aug 6, 2008photoshop cs3 crashed while i was working on a file. i checked the temp folder and found a file that was modified the day it crashed. there is no extension and when i tried to open it in photoshop it said that it "could not complete my request because the file is in use or left open"... is my file hosed or is there a way to recover it?

Jul 4, 2013I am pretty used to VS crashing and becoming corrupted from version 6 to X4. I either reinstall or do a system restore. This time my free dvd template pack is not there but it says it is installed and will not give me the option to download again. I just have the basic DVD menus.
"C:Program Files (x86)CorelCorel VideoStudio Pro X4ContentMenu Template" gives me the four folders (4x3,16x9,HD Basic, HD pop up)
Is there a registry setting I can change to make VS think I did not download the menu pack so I can download it again or is there a better option?
Photoshop :: PSD File Was Crashed After A Blackout
Nov 1, 2012I was working on a .psd file (opened in PaintTool SAI) when there was a blackout so my laptop was crashed. When I opened it an hour later, the .psd file was ruined; all layers flattened to one black background layer; and no matter how many programs I tried to open the file, it's still the same black image.
Is there any possible way to recover my .psd file before it was crashed?

When I use filter liquify, Photoshop crashed. I tried two RAM disks and both have the same behavior. In Windows 7 it worked good. I have final version of Windows 8 from MSDN, no beta.

Jun 14, 2012Was asked to troubleshoot a Win 7 PS13 (CS6) crash today - first time to my knowledge PS has ever crashed! On restart, no Auto Recover option. All work lost. Did some checking.
Found two folders:
1. On the boot disk, found Usersxxxx.......AutoRecover
2. On the exclusive scratch disk - set on G: - found the folder G:PSAutoRecover (as well as the PS temp file in the root of G:).
Both the AutoRecover folders were empty.Set auto save time to 5 minutes... Rebooted. Restarted PS and created a new file - test01.psd. Saved it. Did some work, didn't save... kept checking... (played games for 15 mins). Checked. Both AutoRecover files remained empty.
Crashed the system (forced shutdown). Auto recover option and the test file was not showing up in the recent files list... opened the original test01 .psd. No work subsequent to the original save showed up. Nor any recovery option. Did some more work on the file... just checked... both the AutoRecover folders are still empty.(Just closed PS and saw that the PS temp file deleted itself. Both the AutoRecovery folders remain - empty.} So, my questions are:
1. Is there a 'Permissions' attribute i need to set? Or...
2. Is the AutoRecover messed up? Or...
3. Is the installation messed up and should i advise a reinstallation?

I find it a little strange that they don't offer a direct upload option of the DMP file as a part of this dialogue, but it's probably me who is a little strange...
Anyway. Is there an email address or something where I can send this DMP file? It would be much faster than getting in touch with Corel support.

It has been quite a few years since I bought the program and I have since lost the disc during the multiple moves I've went through. Is there any way I could redownload it somehow without paying for it again? My computer is basically trash now so there's no real way for me to get the program off or deactivate it.

-Exporting crashed in Blueray/AVCHD, I disabled the HW acceleration on encoder and it seems to work (slow offcourse). I'm using a GTX460 and I saw the solution here
-When I try to make my own export profile I can see only one codec "Ulead Mpeg Now Encoder" limited to 720x576 ...
Is that last problem due to the trial version ? I installed all the last patches and now in version 13.6.2.69. I'm using the french interface but that shouldn't be a problem I suppose ?
PS : The editing features are very intuitive and fast I like it ! But without a good export it's useless
