View 6 Replies View RelatedI just unpacked my x-pro1 w/ 35mm lens. I am still reading through the manual and trying to learn the ins and out of this amazing camera. I set up the unit to take raw + L-jpg files. When I tried to import them from the card into LR the program didn't see the files. So I then copied the files to a folder on the desktop and tried again w/ no luck. I finally split the raw files from the jpgs put them in seperate folders and was able to import the jpgs into lightroom. I am storing the raw files in a safe and sound place until Adobe writes the code for the x-pro-1 raw files then I will import them on mass.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm installing my lightroom again on my new PC, Lr 1, upgrade LR2, upgrade LR 3, but after installation only the LR 1 is working fine, the other two upgrades won't import pictures/files and won't show them in the program, only the picture setting like 1/2000 F8.
View 7 Replies View RelatedAs I've been adding photos to my catalog from my iMac's internal hard drive, I've asked LR 5 to import them while "MOVING" them. Not "Copy as DNG", but MOVE. The Move feature simply makes a copy of them and leaves the files still on my hard drive. Why? This didn't happen in earlier LR editions.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI work with lightroom 4.1. When I import my pictures on the normal way. The import will nog finish anymore. After a long time my mac give a notice that he can/copy import the images. but there is a lot of space.
View 2 Replies View RelatedHow can I make Elements 10 to open my Fujifilm X100s raw files?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI noticed a problem with LR5.2. When creating a catalog for travel with dynamic image rendering, if you want to add some pictures in this catalog it doesn't recognize the existing images, so we have the exact same selection between "all images' and "new images". I made a few tests and with a normal catalog there is no problems but apparently the dynamic images are not recognized as existing images.

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen will Adobe LR5 support Fujifilm XT1?
View 4 Replies View RelatedThe camera is listed as supported by L/r 5.2 but I am informed the RAW files can not be loaded.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have read a lot of comments about the quality of output for Fujifilm X raw files, and how poor it is. When compared with Canon raw file processing I agree that the standards for X trans raw files are significantly under par. I would like to know if adobe are redeveloping their support of fujifilm support for these formats? I'm not looking to snipe at adobe. Just want some honest answers so I can make some decisions as I'm now an exclusively X user.
View 1 Replies View RelatedFirst of all, I'm very happy the new version of Lightroom handles FujiFilm X-E1 RAW (RAF) files fast and efficiently.
But I have a feeling the colours aren't quite right. The X-E1, and its brothers, are known for their incredible colour reproduction and wide dynamic range in a compact format. When shooting native JPEG's with, or without shadow compensation settings in the camera, the resulting JPEG files has a clear FujiFilm identity. The colours and luma and are very even all the way from the shadows to the highlights. But when loading a RAW (RAF) file into Lightroom (v4.4) the colours, still untouched, aren't at all the same, and not the luma either. Shadows are harsher, the skin tones and most colours actually are a tiny bit off. Overall I would urge you to study this in detail and give us an optional Camera Calibration profile or something, that will give FujiFilm justice here.
Does this make any sense to you, or am I just being picky here?
Lightroom 4 is constantly put down as being very poor at rendering Fujifilm X Trans RAW files. Fujifilm claims to have assisted Adobe with this new sensor design yet LR falls down hard. Why is that? Will it get better or are we stuck with what LR can do now?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm using a Fuji X100S since last week (after many years of Nikon through D200, D300, D700 and now D800, and also experimenting with Olympus' OM-D and a Sony RX100).
The Fuji makes awesome pictures, super sharp, especially in the center, has fantastic low light performance and since it looks great and is much smaller but still features a view finder I find myself using it much more than the big though excellent D800.
However, in terms of color reproduction (I'm testing this by shooting out of the window and then comparing the results after conversion of the raw images in LR 4.4) I found the color cast of the Fuji images lacking. Whilst the Nikon raw images (either when applying the Adobe Standard or the preferred Neutral in Camera calibration settings) have a balanced green/red tint and a mostly accurate WB in >90% of the images, I find myself correcting almost 100% of the Fuji images by dialing down the red tint and the dialing up the temperature (ie, toward warmer temperatures). Interestingly, while also the JPEGs coming out of the Fuji look the same (ie, have a red tint and cool temperatures) - both raw and JPEG images when viewed on the small LCD on the back of the Fuji have neither red tint nor cool temperatures, they simply look "right" when compared with what I'm seeing when looking out of my window.
how to rectify this for all future imported Fuji raw images? So far, I couldn't find a setting in LR 4.4 that would automatically reduce tint and increase temperature by a set relative amount (e.g., -20% and +20%, respectively).
I'm working on Macs (iMac and Retina Macbook) running 10.8.3
They will not show up in PS. I run a Mac under Mavericks 10.9.1 with all the latest updates for ACR, LR and PSCC.
MacBook Pro early 2011.
Is it that the files are not supported yet?? In LR, the lens profile is recognized... (Fuji X100S)
I've downloaded the trial version of Lightroom 4.1 to give a try with my raw files.
First LR is very slow at generating the preview (takes about 30 sec for some files), the only filter applied at import is "Lens correction".
When Applying corrections, it takes seveal seconds to see it on the preview and there is also a lot of lag.
Maybe is a limitation of the trial ? My RAW files are CR2 from a DSLR Canon EOS 60D (18 Mpix): 5184x3456.
I try LR on the following setup:
OS: Windows 7 SP1 32bit
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+
RAM: 2 GB
HD system: 7200 RPM 300 GB
Screen resolution: 1920x1080
I can do it by choosing "external editing" and then choosing the photoshop.exe file but by doiing it this way I've lost the sweet possibilitie to open several pictures as layers in Photoshop...
View 4 Replies View RelatedUsing Windows 7 with Lr 4.
Everything is updated and the pictures in question have been successfully imported into Lr.
I would like to open individual pictures into Lr, but I am unsuccessful thus far.
I right-click on the picture and choose Open with Lr does not appear in the list of programs, so I click Choose Program.
I went to the Desktop and selected the Lr icon.
Now when I right-click on individual pictures, Lr appears as one of the available programs, but when I select it, the Lr Import dialog opens even though the image has been previously imported into Lr.
Is there any way to correct this so when I right-click on a picture and choose Lr, it opens into the Library or Develop module?
Just downloaded Lightroom 3.6 after I had a problem opening Lightroom 3.5 which I've been using for a few months. When I open the program I get a select catalog dialogue box. If I choose a photo to open I get a runtime error on the program. I'm running Windows Vista.

I am using Lightroom 4.1, and upgrading to 4.2 RC1 didn't resolve the issue. I've tried clearing my temporary files and re-installing Lightroom. I tried deleting my catalog and starting again. My default browser is currently Chrome, but when I make IE the default, I see the same behavior.
