Photoshop Elements :: Make 10 To Open Fujifilm X100s Raw Files?
Mar 27, 2013How can I make Elements 10 to open my Fujifilm X100s raw files?
View 2 RepliesHow can I make Elements 10 to open my Fujifilm X100s raw files?
View 2 RepliesI am unable to open .raf files created by my new Fujifilm x100s camera. I have PSE 10. According to Help --> Updates, I have the most current versions of everything installed. My ACR Version is 6.7.0.339.
I see references tro Adobe Camera Raw version 7 but it looks like that version is not compatible with PSE10, only PSE11.
Sticking with PSE 10, what is the latest version of Adobe Camera Raw that I can use and that will support opening .raf files from the Fuji x100s? I'm afraid to attempt installation of ACR 7 without assurancesd that it will work with PSE10.
I'm using a Fuji X100S since last week (after many years of Nikon through D200, D300, D700 and now D800, and also experimenting with Olympus' OM-D and a Sony RX100).
The Fuji makes awesome pictures, super sharp, especially in the center, has fantastic low light performance and since it looks great and is much smaller but still features a view finder I find myself using it much more than the big though excellent D800.
However, in terms of color reproduction (I'm testing this by shooting out of the window and then comparing the results after conversion of the raw images in LR 4.4) I found the color cast of the Fuji images lacking. Whilst the Nikon raw images (either when applying the Adobe Standard or the preferred Neutral in Camera calibration settings) have a balanced green/red tint and a mostly accurate WB in >90% of the images, I find myself correcting almost 100% of the Fuji images by dialing down the red tint and the dialing up the temperature (ie, toward warmer temperatures). Interestingly, while also the JPEGs coming out of the Fuji look the same (ie, have a red tint and cool temperatures) - both raw and JPEG images when viewed on the small LCD on the back of the Fuji have neither red tint nor cool temperatures, they simply look "right" when compared with what I'm seeing when looking out of my window.
how to rectify this for all future imported Fuji raw images? So far, I couldn't find a setting in LR 4.4 that would automatically reduce tint and increase temperature by a set relative amount (e.g., -20% and +20%, respectively).
I'm working on Macs (iMac and Retina Macbook) running 10.8.3
Does pse11 support xpro1 raw files ?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have just upgraded from PSE10 to PSE12 and now when I use the Slide show (full screen) in organizer with Fujifilm Raw files it take about a minute and a half to load up and same again when you zoom in. Is there any way of speeding this up in PSE12? It was slow in PSE10, but it did take over a minute in total.
View 21 Replies View RelatedI just installed PSE12 and want it to be the default program to open my jpg files. I know how to set defaults on a PC but the program does not even come up on the list of defaults. I've tried right-click on image and "open with" but no PSE12. If I use Browse and follow the path Program Files (x86)/Adobe/PSE12/PSE Editor.exe, there is no exe file, only the application. If I select PSE Editor, it does not make it the default.
View 4 Replies View RelatedAfter re-installing pse 9 and the camera raw plug in, I have been unable to open raw files to make adjustments. When I open a raw file in my editor it says "reading camera raw" but then never opens with the option to make the usual adjustments.
View 5 Replies View RelatedAfter using Elements 12 for a months trial and then uninstalling it, I can no longer find Elements 9 listed when I right click on a picture file and select "open with". How can I restore it to my list of programs with which I can open the file. I'm using Windows 8 which list aps and some other programs but not Elements 9.

View 1 Replies View RelatedThey will not show up in PS. I run a Mac under Mavericks 10.9.1 with all the latest updates for ACR, LR and PSCC.
MacBook Pro early 2011.
Is it that the files are not supported yet?? In LR, the lens profile is recognized... (Fuji X100S)
I just upgraded to LR 5 and when i import files for a Fuji X100S it just hangs and hangs. I have to kill LR and restart. Files for my canon 5d mkii are no problem, import easily. Is there a patch or an update I am missing? i have version 5.3

View 2 Replies View RelatedI just downloaded it. I tried clicking new and put in the size and stuff and this happens...Okay. It says it's there, yes?No. It won't show my blank canvas.
Now if I click on the 'Untitled-1 etc..' and hold it and stuff you can see the canvas, but the second I let it go. It disappears. The same thing goes with opening files. I open them. The thing says its there, but it won't show it. Why does this keep happened? I re-installed it, but still happens.
File-> Open is the only way I can open files with 64-bit.When I clicking icons or right click-> Open With they only open with the 32-bit version. (Even though I've set the default program to 64-bit)
I'm able to open 64 bit by shortcut and it runs very well, about 10 times faster loading time and extremely smoothly for everything I do.
Here is my system info:
Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 Intel Core i5-3330 @ 3.0 GHz (3.2 Turbo) (2nd Generation i5 processor) 8 GB Ram 1600 Mhz (800 MHz for each 4 GB stick) (1GB shared memory for onboard graphics, 6.94GB useable) Gigabyte GA-B75M-HD3 Motherboard
I have pse 7. Can I open a pdf document and make a type change? I have a lot of pdf's to work with.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI just bought Adobe Elements Photshop and Premier 11. I spent 2 to 3 hours getting my picture video library into Adobe's organizer. I had some problems with duplicate picture (that I wanted to be there - so I had to rename them) and a couple pictures with corrupted metadata. After I got all that sorted out I am a bit miffed about the folder view on Adob'es organizer.
I love that you can switch to folder view - since this is how I have been organizing my pictures for a long time. I would like to continue organizing this way for now until I get a grasp on the other ways I can organize them in elements. However, every time I close and re-open organizer it switches back to the default view instead of folder view. there is a way to set folder view to the default view!
I have recently bought a new Nikon D7100 camera . When I try to open some NEF raw files, Photoshop Elements 11 complains my camera is not on the Camerra Raw list. I have tried for hours and hours to see how to fix this ... I have done the usual look at the plug-ins etc - the plug-in states I haev version 7.4 - which according to the blurb means D7100 files should be Ok ... beginning to get a bit pee'd off now with Adobe......

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've been using Photoshop Elements 11 for several months with my laptop running Windows 8. All of a sudden today I can't open jpegs. I click "open," navigate to the picture I want to open and nothing happens. I tried holding down, Ctrl, Alt, Shift when starting the editor to reset preferences and that did nothing. I even tried going to Preferences and clicking Reset Preferences on next launch and that also did nothing.
