Lightroom :: Color Part Of Paintbrush In LR5 Trial Isn't Working
Sep 26, 2013It seems the color part of paintbrush in the LR 5 trial isn't working.

View 1 RepliesI downloaded a trial of Lightroom 4 and went to import my Elements 8.0 catalog. It says that it did do it, but with errors...and now when I open Lightroom, all my pictures just show up as grey squares. If I try to import pictures individually, it says that Lightroom already has all my pictures in the Library.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI made a new template, and my Pencil and PaintBrush would not work. When I tried to draw something, nothing appeared. The icon was there, but no drawing area. I tried to ajust it with the [ and ]. Nothing changed.
View 4 Replies View RelatedBasically, I was working on a drawing in GIMP, and the paintbrush tool would not work on a transparent layer. I had one layer under it, which was white and had my drawing. The brush would work on that layer, but not the transparent layer above it. I tried with my Wacom Tablet and my mouse pad and neither worked. What else was peculiar was that I could use the Pencil Tool on the transparent layer.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am fairly new to Illustrator. I am trying to trace an image using the brush tool. I can get some lines in and for some reason the brush tool begins to revert to fill none effectively just making invisible lines. I have the parent image on its separate layer and the line art on another layer. Layers are unlocked. When I use the brush it will look as if it is deleting/erasing what is shown on both layers. The brush tool is effectively erasing what is there already instead of drawing.
I tried searching for a couple days now and the best I could find is this: [URL] ...
I tried everything mentioned in the thread and it still isn't working. In fact I think the OP in that thread never really solved his issue too. I can barely even get my line art down.
I just began editing a portrait shoot and realized that my paintbrush effects only work on about the bottom 1/3rd of my photo.
The little target with the plus sign in the middle shows up when I mouse over this photo from the mouth down, but when I mouse over the top part it turns back into the normal cursor. If I start using the brush at the bottom of the photo where the target/plus sign actually shows up and then drag it to the forehead, it works. But if i unclick at all it goes back to the original problem.
I am using Lightroom 4.
When I am in Black and white picture and want to add color in particular part of my photo. How would I color flash my photo?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have LR4.3 for at least one year. He has worked correctly until 2 weeks ago. But now it is impossible to have correct color in the "development " part.
When i choose the pictures in the computer to load them, their colors are "normal" but after to have loaded them, The pictures are red, blue, green, yellowl etc without gradient (like solarization) Even if the picture loaded is in B&W.
And the "histogram" has the same colors.
When i decide to send these pictures to the computer, their colors are again "normal" (with the changes I have done) but without be able to control them during their passage in LR4.3.
Original picture:
The same in LR4.3
Align Objects feature is not working in trial version of Illustrator CC. Brand new MacBook Pro, have tried rebooting etc. Is this a software bug or a limitation of trial version?
View 5 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to make the cropped part of your image totally black? It would visualize the effect.
View 17 Replies View RelatedTrying to use the paintbrush to paint a solid color and this keeps happening.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI installed LR5 from LR4 yesterday and each time I open an image in CS5 from my LR5, I get the following message:
The document "IMG_9082.CR2"has an embedded color profile that does not match the current RGB working space.
Embedded: Adobe RGB (1998)
Working sRGB IEC61966-2.1
What would you like to do?
-Use the embedded profiel (instead of the working space)
-Convert documents's colors to the working space
-Discard the embedded profile (don't color manage)
My camera's settings have it set with sRGB, LR4 and LR5 have sRGB and I have CS5 workspace as sRGB. This did not happen before.
Is it possible that when LR5 updated the LR4 catalogue, it changed the profile of all my photos? I don't know, maybe I've done something, but I can't see what as I don't remember changing anything.
I'm familiar with different techniques on how to turn a color picture to black and white, but I was curious as to whether or not there were ways to turn color pictures black and white, while certain parts remained in color (like Sin City).
View 6 Replies View Relatedis it possible to export photos from lightroom 5 in trial mode.
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo my lightroom trial expired before I could export 20 some photos from it. I can't buy the program, but I really need those pictures.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI wanted to try adobe's Lightroom and downloaded and installed the trial version. I have decided not to purchase at this time and attempted to uninstall the product. I beleive it is crashing my computer as it is the only new program i have installed in literally years. This is the error message I am receiving.
Error opening installation log file. Verify that the specified log file location exists and is writable.
I have the trial version of lightroom 5 & it will not import from a media card
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have downloaded the trial version. I have around 22,000 photos and included are some videos. The import gets to around 6,000 inports and freezes. I am picking a folder and requesting all of the sub folders for the import.
Up until now I have been using ACDSee. Wanting to changeover to Lightroom, but need to make sure it can do the job with my existing data.
I recently downloaded Lightroom 3 (currently have L2 version) and upgraded to do a 30 day trial version. As I finished working on some new pictures and started working on a slideshow the application quit and asked me if I wanted to upgrade again, as I did that when the application started again the folder of the images I was working on was not there any more. How can I retrieve this again? Did I loose the images and the work I did on them?
View 8 Replies View RelatedI have a laptop running LR 3.6 and want to try 4.4 to determine whether the laptop is man enough for the job. It's a Core 2 Duo T6400 2.0Ghz with 4Gb RAM and Vista Home Premium 32 bit.
If I install the trial version of 4.4 how do I make sure it doesn't mess up my 3.6 catologue, so that I can go back to it, if I'm not happy with the trial?
I want to try 4.4 against my full cataloque to make sure that I'm doing a proper performance test.
Lightroom 4 Trial (in Windows 7) doesn't transport/open pictures in Photoshop CS5.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI've just got a new monitor and i have downloaded an ICC profile to use as i don't have calibration hardware yet. I've loaded it in Windows using color management. My question now is what color 'working space' i should set in Photoshop.
I must say that learning about color has been a steep learning curve for me so I have tried to avoid it as much as i can!!! If a total novice guide on color has been covered in another thread just point me there!
paint, how you have those paint brushes?
How can I use the same thing on CS3?
if this is a setting that needs changed or is a bug of some sort but when i am in an assembly and double click on a sub assembly it highlights that sub assembly and greys out the rest of the model as expected, however if i then right click on a part and bring up the menu and click open it does nothing. It seems as though when i right click, the menu opens and it deselects the part so when i select open it does nothing as no part is selected. I can click on the item in the tree and select open.

View 20 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to paint on an image and when I mouse over where I want to paint I get the "prohibited" symbol and can't paint. I opened other .jpgs and was able to paint with no problem. Is there a type of file that you can't use the paintbrush tool on?
View 9 Replies View RelatedDoes anyone know of a tutorial or can offer me help with making an effect similar to this one
Would be really gratefull for any advice offered.
Other tools seem to work fine.
Example:
Open GIMP
New File, 50x50 px, RGB, 72ppi
Paint Bucket, Lasso, Magic Wand, all work. Pencil, Paintbrush - nothing.
If I open an image, I can select it, duplicate it, color pick, paint bucket and all of the functions in the dropdown menus seem to work, but no drawing or painting.
When I use the paintbrush tool, If I try to click "basic" and the straight line it simply does not do it no matter what, it reverts to 3pt round. Can you not use the basic setting on the paintbrush? Only the pencil?

I have recently installed "Autodesk Product Design Suite Premium 2012 English Win 64bit"., and now I would like to create thru "Make Part" feature an assembly in which I am using in the previous version 2011. The feature options are not working.Step to re-create:
1. Manage Tab > Make Part
2. Under "Place part in target assembly" click the Folder button on New File Location
3. A "Component Properties" dialog box will appear. Now, click "YES" or "NO" button, dialog box closes.....
