Align Objects feature is not working in trial version of Illustrator CC. Brand new MacBook Pro, have tried rebooting etc. Is this a software bug or a limitation of trial version?
View 5 RepliesI have a trial version of Illustrator and am finding that glyphs with no unicode are not accessible. If I double-click on the glyph, I get a blank space or a question mark. Is this a function of the trial version?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI've been working a good hour on a vector illustration and all of a sudden the "align to pixel grid" feature turned on. It's not selected in the Transform window. In fact, it's grayed out as an option. I restarted Illustrator. Same issue. I restarted my computer. Still happens.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI installed the retina display-optimized update to my purchased (non-Creative Cloud) version of Photoshop Design Standard (via the Adobe Updater app that pops up in my menu bar only when updates are available), but now when Photoshop launches, I get Photoshop Extended (and it's a trial version). Is this a known issue? Will I need to reinstall Photoshop?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI downloaded and paid for the upgrade version of CorelDraw X6 because I have X3,X4 and X5. I have installed it already but I went to reinstall on my desktop PC as I wiped my hard drive back to factory state, CorelDRAW no longer gives the upgrade option.
On start up it gives the following message ( see below ) as a 30 day trial.
I just started having an issues with the delete feature. When I click on an object and it highlights it--when i hit the delete button, it doesn't delete the object any more. Also i should be able to click on as many object as i want, now it makes me hold the shift key down. And also when I click on an object then pull the layers tab down to assign it to a diffent layer ---it won't change it now.. what do you think is going on with the software and who might I contact to get this problem corrected.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have done a completely clean install of Creative Cloud CS6 on my mac on Mountain Lion. First time opening Illustrator, and I cannot center two vector objects on each other. Rather, when I click to center them (vertically or horizontally) it actually pushes them further apart! It also appears to be arbitrarily selecting another object on my art board when I select these two (there is no grouping overlap, it makes no sense). I've looked around before, and have 'align to selection' checked, and 'snap to grid/snap to point' unchecked in the 'view' dropdown. Going to try to trash my preferences, but this is literally the first time I've opened it, so I can't see how that would be an issue!
I use this tool CONSTANTLY in what I do, so this is really troubling.
How do I align objects 1/8" apart. Illustrator wants to round .125" up to .13" I have a die cut to make and it's throwing off my alignment
View 2 Replies View RelatedI don't know if this is possible at all in Illustrator, but I want to align objects to text paths. Look at the following example.
I start with something like a circular hierarchy, that I get as an output from another program. These are only lines and text. Now I want to add a flag behind the text. This flag should have the same orientation as the text path.
As this hierarchy is actually pretty big (this is only a snippet), I don't want to rotate all the flags manually. I tried to do it manually with the below example, but it still doesn't looks right...
Is this a proper method to rotate the flags according to the orientation of the text paths in Illustrator?
Say I have a group that consists solely of five triangles. Is it possible to use simultaneously align or distribute functions on while selecting just those five triangles? It seems like I can align up to four triangles at a time within the group, but when I select all five Illustrator interprets that I'm trying to align the entire group with another object outside of that group. Key objects don't seem to be supported in this situation.

I am duplicating this grouped object, and trying to design a press wall with the logo repeated multiple times. I duplicate the logo multiple times and place them on the page, but when I try to use the "distribute objects" tool, it breaks up my logo(s) into their consituent objects and distibutes the pieces on the page, which is very annoying... how do I keep my logo together AND be able to distribute it evenly across my banner?

I want to center align horizontally, but it places the object near the right edge of the artboard. Same things vertically: instead of centered it places it near the top of the page. Now my object is in the top right corner of the artboard. When I try it again, it moves it farther into the corner, incermentally less. What obscure preference did i accidentally activate?

View 5 Replies View RelatedIn AI, smart guides indicated "intersection" when I am drawing a path or moving an object to align to the intersection of two guides, when I release the mouse, the object I am moving/drawings jumps slightly off the intended alignment intersection. If I continue to try to move it to align, it jumps to the other side or back to where it was but will mot match the intersection.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to add a stroke that's aligned to the outside of my path. It appears to be offsetting the stroke *and* moving anchor points at the same time. It does the same kind of thing when I align the stroke to the inside. It is fine when i align the stroke to center. The one that is offset to the top-left is the align-inside one.

Edit: There are no "snaps" enabled.
With the Rectangle Tool's cursor is clicked in the document. The Rectangle Panel appears. A height dimension is entered. With the pointer, the Width field is clicked. Usually, the Height Value gets automatically entered in the Width field. In this case it does not.
This same behavior is occuring in the Ellipse Tool.

When we try to open smart objects from within Photoshop CC, they're looking for Illustrator CS6. On machines where Illustrator CS6 is uninstalled we get errors. All the file associations in Bridge are correctly set. Is there a way to change the file associations for smart objects?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI was about to download the trial version of CS4 and noticed that the download was the extended version, even though I had clicked on the link for the standard version.
My question is, do you get a choice as to which version you install? I have no interest in the extended version and want to try out the standard version only. Don't really want to have to figure out which features are in standard and which in extended.
I previously downloaded a trial version of PS6 after it expired I purchased and installed PS6 via disks. When I now try to run PS6 the trial version popup appears and states trial version expired. I reenter my license number which causes PS6 to work for a few days (if that) then I have to re-do this process. what files I need to remove to prevent this from happening.
I am running Windows 7.
Installed Photoshop CC as "try it", trial version but I do not have 3D capabilities and do not have alternate file address for my 3rd party plug-ins as I did in Photoshop CS6. Is this normal for the trial version?
