Lightroom :: 3.6 Doesn't Import Any Picture Or File?
Sep 5, 2012I installed LR on my computer, win 7, and upgrade version 1 to 2 and 2 to 3 (with all updates) but i can't import pictures, they will be on the libary but i can't see them. if i use only LR 1, no problem, it starts when i installed LR 2!? but if i import a picture this will be shown in the libary but it is not dispayed( can't see the picture, only the place where this must be seen) I did use all the updates, but still no progress? how to handle so i can work my LR 3.6 ( before I upgrade to 4.0)

Feb 9, 2013I am trying to import photographs from a SD card shot on Nikon D600. LR keeps saying "Preview unavailable", and that it doesn't recognise the raw format.
I have tried downloading images from card via a recovery programme and filed them on desktop in separate folder, then tried to import from the folder. Still no success.

Dec 18, 2012I updated to 4.3 today and I was still unable to import my D600 NEF/RAW files. After I updated, I rebooted and it seemed like I could actually import the D600 NEF files. However a few moments later, somehow those images were no longer in my catalog/library and when I try to reimport them again it says the files are not compatible and no preview was available during the import screen.

Nov 13, 2012I just bought a Nikon D600 which is not supported by CS5. I heard that Lightroom 4.2 will support it so I shelled out $199 for that product. Now I see that if I import a raw file into LR, work on it and then try to send it to PS for more editing I can't do that. I am told I have to spend another $199 to upgrade to CS6 because Adobe has no plans to have CS5 support my camera. This is a rip-off. I was told that I can convert all my NEF files to DNG, bring them into LR and then into PS, but "the quality will not be as good".
