View 17 Replies View RelatedI used to have a Nikon D600. When I first got it I didn't upgrade from PSE9 and consequently I processed quite a number of files in ViewNX 2.
On revisiting those files now that I have PSE11 (which works well with D800 files) PSE11 doesn't seem to recognize and when I go into the Editor and try to open one from there I get the following message: I had thought that PSE11 would work with the D600 NEF files - is this not the case?
I realize that the 60D just came out but I would love to see tether support in LR3.3. I can get it to work using a watched folder with the EOS utility but not with direct tethering.

View 6 Replies View RelatedSo i have USB3 and USB2 on a lenovo laptop running windows 8 and lightroom 5,2. I have the tether plugin enabled and I connect the camera to several usb cables made for tethering. The camera show up in windows as the D800 however lighttroom does not see it and says it can't find a camera when i enable etherd shooting. I have tried several cables, all the ports with all the cables. I have taken out the memory cards and tried in many modes and still no camera in lightroom so i can't shoot tehered.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI'm running the latest version of LR on Mac OSX, shooting tethered.I'm product shooting, I need to shoot 1 shot from the front, then from above, 1 shot from the front, then from above, and so on, i'll have 2 cameras in position.
My question - can i tether both cameras into LR at the same time.
I had LR3.6, never tried to tether. I upgraded and now have LR4.4. I tried tethering my 50D and my 7D, LR wont recognize either camera at all. EOS Utility works fine. Same cameras, same cables work on a fresh LR 4.4 install on my wife's laptop perfectly (never had EOS utilites or LR installed previously).
Both PCs, running win7 64-bit.
I uninstalled LR3 and EOS utilities off the problem PC then restarted, but still no go. Windows recognizes both cameras on any USB port with any cable, so I have eliminated those variables. I am at a loss at this point, other than re-installing LR4. Hoping I dont have to do that and rework several thousand images...
I have a Nikon D7000 camera and Lightroom 4 updated with the latest version and I can't get it to tether. Lightroom tether says no camera detected when it is. I have tried every thing in the trouble shoot guide but it doesn't work.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI need to tether wirelessly with a Nikon WT-4 transmitter, Nikon D3S or D800. Lightroom will do this automatically with a wire, but I cannot seem to make this work where I can download image off camera and send to printer immediately.

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhy I can’t tether my Canon 350D with Lightroom 5.3 on Mac OS 10.9
I'm wondering, becouse with the build in Image Capture program works fine with the same camera setings.
I use lightroom to tether but recently I have not been seeing my image in lightroom. It is stuck on "transferring files from camera." However, the folder I have linked to Lightroom has the image. I have updated everything and have disconnected and reconnected every cable and it is still not working. I don't think it is the camera since I am getting the image in the tethering folder. I want to be able to see it in the Develop section of Lightroom so I can make sure I have the shot and edit if necessary.how to get it to transfer again?

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy Lightroom 4.4 does not recognize my raw format photos files from my Olympus EP-5. It does recognize files from my Canon 5D marc2. I'm using a Mac computer by the way.
View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter I take a photo into PSCC, make adjustments, then hit "save", the .tif doesn't show up in LR. If I do an "Import", the .tif file shows up grayed out in the correct folder. If I use "save as" and try to drag and drop that file, it will not import as it says that file is already in the catalog. I'm on a new Mac Pro, using the CC.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to import some photos into LR from a camera and I know that there are many photos on the camera that have already been imported. Usually if I choose New Photos LR sees them and doesn't import them, but now it isn't. I started importing them and it started giving the duplicate file names -2 extensions.
View 3 Replies View RelatedAs of yesterday, my lightroom no longer recognises the raw files from my Nikon D7000. It won't import them. Not sure why as it worked fine prior to then.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI have LR 4.2 installed. I just tried to import my 5D MK III images for the first time and is gave me a camera not recognized (409) error. From what I can see the 5 MK III was supposed to be supported from 4.1 on. Did the tether fix in 4.2 break the native image support? If not, have 4.2 installed that does recognize MK III files (within the past week)? I ran the update check and it reported that I had the latest version installed and no updates were available.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded to Lightroom 5. Suddenly it will not recognize raw files from either my Canon 7D, or my Sony Nex-7.Both of these are supported in LR4, and LR4 is still recognizing them.I've already checked, there are no further updates available.
View 2 Replies View RelatedSuddenly, after 3 months of easy use, LR5 says it can't import standard JPEG files form my Olympus OMD
because it can't read them. But iphoto has no problem and imports them easily. This just started happening out of the blue.
I am running LR4.3 on a Vista 32 bit system. I have a new Toshiba external drive that has been storing my work from lightroom. All has been working great until last night. I was working on photos and all of a sudden a banner came across the top saying photos is missing or offline and then that the folder was missing. The external drive was still plugged in but not lit up. I unplugged it and shut everything down (multiple times) but the drive has disappeared from the selectable drives on the left hand side. I can access the external drive through windows and my photos are there but LR4.3 does not see it. How can I get LR to see the drive again?
