I've completed my flyer and everything looks great in Illustrator, however when I save the document as a PDF the entire thing turns a dark shade of blue. It almost looks as though the whole page as been highlighted. This only happens when it's opened as a PDF and not in Illustrator.

i've already installed my copy of CS6.when it runs all of window of my desktop turns in a blue tint included of course the image i'm working on. what have i tu adjust? i had no problems wirh previus version (i upgraded from CS3 extended, it's a long jump)

View 10 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to line up some audio with my cuts. I can see the the amplitude but as soon as I hold and move the audio it turns "light" blue. And I can can't see the waveform, which is useful a lot.
All I want to do is line up the cuts with the a back ground beat.
Any ideas how ot fix this? Every time I try to enter text, the edges of the text is surrounded/selected with lines going around it....how do I stop that and have it stop turning my image red (Its supose to be brown, until I click it then it turns red), it isnt even using the correct colors that I set it at.
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen importing a multi-page pdf or ps file into a multi-page document, sometimes the inserted pages will all have their Document Grid layer visibility turned on, even when the existing pages in the document all have it turned off.
If I bring up the object manager, I can go through the affected pages and 'un-eye' them one page at a time. But it's a blooming nuisance, especially when importing dozens of pages at once.
My move tool does not work other than selecting the entire page. It does not let me to select anything inside the page or drag and select anything inside the page.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have two documents, both with 300 DPI. The first is a 4x5 image and the second is an 11x17 page. I am trying to drag the entire 4x5 image (it's composed of several layers) onto the 11x17 page and keep it the same size. However, when I drag and drop, the 4x5 image is enlarged to fill the full width of the 11x17 page. This happens even if I hit shift. I recently upgraded from PSE10 where I did this regularly and can't figure out how to do it in PSE12. I have an iMac with OS 10.8.5.

View 8 Replies View RelatedIn the past two days, two-page PDFs that I save out of CS6 are printing with the second page upside down. I have tried resaving the documents—didn't work. Tried saving the documents as individual PDFs and combining the PDFs in Acrobat—didn't work. I have had my colleagues print them, and the second page is upside-down too. When I print two-page PDFs that I saved last week or longer ago, I have no problem at all. It just seems to be happening with recently saved PDFs. I didn't update any software on my computer between saving the PDFs that are printing correctly and when this problem began.
View 11 Replies View RelatedSee the attached mini screen grab. I've built a North America map showing Alaska and filled it with a gradient and saved it. When I re-open the file, Alaska has turned black as shown. When I rebuild the color, it re-opens as black again.
I've tried numerous workarounds, including pasting into a new document, making a new layer, and even deleting the rest of North America to eliminate the possibility of file size or memory limits. None of these workarounds has worked.
Im having a really bad day working on CC Illustrator, i copied a .ai file and a .eps file from my old computer to continue working on a logo. And everythings works well, without the colors.
I want it BLACK, 000000, but the Illustrator turns it into differnt blacks and brown! Never seen this before.
When I copy my work back on the old computer and open it on CS3 it shows that it is black, but when i copy it on my CC Photoshop it shows up brown?
I tired making a new file, copying things over, making a new project writing randoms things but its all brown, and i tired to change both CMYK and RBG, and ofcourse the color! It worked fine if I wanted blue or red, but not BLACK.
I have a complex pattern, that looks brilliant with a color layer. However, it was originally created RGB.
I converted the color to CMYK for print, and all the color disappears! Not that the layer is deleted, but the color layer appears Grayscale. The only area where color shows up are in the pieces that are at 50% transparency (see purple diamond). I have all my color areas set to CMYK including the color pallet.
The color will show if I set the layer to multiply, but it doesn't look the same way as it does when its in RGB mode.
OS: Windows 8 64 bit Illy: CS6
I was playing around with Illy tonight as I haven't been using it nealry as much as of late or even since all the recent updates.
Any way, it seems to me that I somehow managed to Duplicate a Document...
If you use Photoshop you'll know just what I mean... I'm talking about making an Exact Duplication of all the layers... of everything. You know simply: Image > Duplicate
I was playing around with different things and next thing I knew I had Two Document Windows open even though I'm about 99.9% certain that I didn't open a 2nd Doc and that I didn't make the exact same shape twice with same colors etc.
Of course... I could quite possibly have drifted off into some dual universe... (yes, that's the best i can come up with at 3am).
Is there now a (hidden) way to make a Duplicate in Illy just like in Ps?

I'm creating my resume in illustrator, very very basic stuff. Not special settings or anything, just a few guides and lines of text. I've tried creating a new document and retyping everything to no avail.
Basically when I'm done formatting and creating the resume how I like it, I Save As to PDF and open it up in Preview, Reader and the built in pdf viewer in my browsers and noticed that the entire document is now a clickable link...center of the page, near the top of the page etc. Its picking up one of my reference contact's email addresses from the bottom of the page.
So i tried changing from paragraph left to paragraph center and it seems to stop the issue. but if i revert back to my preferred formatting its there again.
When I remove their email, no longer a problem. and i can revert to my prefered formatting and with his emial remove the reference below his, their email is intact and not casuing the problem.
My previous resume formatting was all in paragraph center formatting so it was never a problem..
This seems like a very simple task, but I cannot find any way to delete an entire graph.
