Illustrator :: Objects Highlighted With Yellow Boundaries
Feb 26, 2014
I'm working in Adobe CC Illustrator on a MacBook Pro.When I click on an obect or text it is bounded by yellow. The background of my page is white. Yellow on white is irritating and hard to differentiate. I tried modifying my preferences, but nothing changes.
Change that highlight color to blue, red, purple.... anything but yellow? I need to delete preferences?
I found a strange behavior of AutoCAD. When I was modifying a drawing and adding dimension annotation, there suddenly come some small circles as highlighted in yellow in the screenshot.

First, there is no way I can't select them. Second, zooming doesn’t change their size.
What these small circles are? How to get rid of them?
union the red and yellow objects? after that in mine I have intersection line between them! why?and the other question is; when I try Interfere command to remove the interference object it doesn't work!
the perspective viewport suddenly turns to a red ground with yellow objects. when I zoom in/out, the graphics return to normal, but only momentarily. this is not occurring in the other viewports. is this a video card issue or should I redownload and reinstall the software? my video card is ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4670.
Is it possible to script using a highlighted layer.
I know that selected items can be used for scripting, but I would like to just highlight the layers I want to process but not directly select the items on those layers.
If I just use yellow color with yellow fill the resultant text is almost impossible to read. I think the answer is to mix small amounts of other colors to make the text more readable. The questions is"What is the optimum mix for maximum readability?
I want to cut the part of the yellow rectangle off the circle. Easy peasy with Photoshop: Layer 1 for the blue circle, Layer 2 for the rectangle, Layer 1 Control + click, then Layer 2, invert selection, delete.
Of course I can delete nodes and adapt the shape to the curve, but I don't know how to cut the figure quickly in Illustrator.
How does one remedy this Adobe error message? "Can't scale the objects. The requested transformation would make some objects too small to use." This one always gets me. I'll spend more time trying to find the object in question. This has happened in almost al versions, but this time it's CS5.
There are 3 elements there. the top of the clap board was placed before i started tryinbg to create the slanted dashes that are on the average clapboards. The white dash was skewed using Object > Transform > Shear. Then i attempted to rotate it to fit.
I need 4 of these skwed white squares / trapezoids on the top along with 4 to match on the top of the larger potion of the clapboard. I do not want to eye it as it will be a part of a logo.
What would be the best method to use?Is there a way to draw the 4 rectangles on top of a perfectly horizontal long black rectangle and skew the white dashes at the same time?Is there a way to skew based on the dimensions of the longer black rectangle?
Is there a setting I'm missing somewhere. If I have a psd file with 10 layers, sometimes I want to quickly move an element around but, regardless of what layer I'm working on, or which layer is selected, my "selection tool" will grab whatever layer is the top one, or the whole "group" is the layer is in one, instead. So, usually, I have to reorder my layers to make the adjustment and then reorder them again.
I want to create a single map of my country that will highlight all the trips (about 10) I made with my car. To that end I have a mapping software that given the initial and final location of the trip it will create a map displaying the route traveled with a highlighted mark on the map along the route taken. This map is created in Adobe Flash format that I can screen capture creating a jpg file.
I am using Map 3D 2012 and when I float the cursor over objects it highlights. The problem is that when I click on the object that is highlighted, it picks another object. I have gone through the options and can't find anything that changes this.
I used the Ellipse Select Tool to cut, then paste an area in an image. Now the move of this image component is done I need to 'switch off' the ellipse to paint outside it. I expected the 'Select' 'None' menu option to switch it off, but it doesn't.
Add Edit don´t cut all the layers highlighted. When I insert or overwrite a clip into the timeline, the timeline don´t respect the highlighted layers (ex. if layer 1, 2 and 3 were highlighted and the clip were put in layer 1, clips on second and third layer should be deleted between in and out markers, but they aren´t.
The Ctrl+D and Ctrl+Shift+D commands (add transition) doesn´t work like the other versions too (respecting where the cursor is)the buttons to go to the next cut on timeline (in my keyboard, A and S) doesn´t work right too.I would like to know if these are bugs or the new Premiere CC is different from the others before.
I would like to be able to have my selected color swatch be highlighted in Photoshop cs5. Is there an option or a plugin that I can use so I can achieve this?
when I split an Avi file I have, if I have the clip selected and highlighted, I get audio. If I click on the time line, so no specific clip highlighted, I don't get any audio?
If I create a file, the produced file has no audio
With one of my project files, when I try to create disc in VS Pro X4 only option DD-J is highlighted. When I try to select DVD or any of the other options, the project loads to 59% then the whole program freezes and the following dialogue box appears.
The program has encountered an unspecified error and has stopped functioning. Please contact Corel Technical Support and send the dump file for analysis.
When I click on OK I get the message that the program needs to close and it just shuts down. I am using Windows XP. I have 12 other project files that I can create to disc without any problem.
I'm using AutoCad LT 2013 at work. My issue is I have always been able to highlight and object and then enter my command and perform that command. Something happened and now when I highlight then enter my command and press enter it un-highlights the object and prompts me to highlight the object again. Also if I want to copy and paste a highlighted object it wont allow me unless I type in the command first. I can't figure out what I did.
I'm currently plotting a site plan with different zones highlighted in a solid hatch. Each zone has a different colour and all zones are slightly transparent so i can see the site plan underneath.
The problem is that when transparency box is ticked , the site plan becomes more faded. Is there a way where I can use the transparency tool but keep the original line weights of the site plan.
The tiny red line used to highlight selected edges in a viewport is nearly impossible for me to see. Is there a parameter to change this value? I found a place to change vertex display size, but nothing on edges.
I would like to set the highlighted surface under angle I pointed in the screenshot number 2 ( I drew black line how I would like to do that) how to start with it.
