Jul 5, 2013In the new Illustrator CC, when cursering over text it underline highlights it. How do I turn this off? It's a bit annoying.

Feb 26, 2014I'm working in Adobe CC Illustrator on a MacBook Pro.When I click on an obect or text it is bounded by yellow. The background of my page is white. Yellow on white is irritating and hard to differentiate. I tried modifying my preferences, but nothing changes.
Change that highlight color to blue, red, purple.... anything but yellow? I need to delete preferences?

The only thing I could do temporarily is break up the text into three distinct parts: name-the at symbol-host so whatever in my system recognizes urls will not pick up this email address and underscore it.

Aug 13, 2013I've set my page size units to pixels, and I work in Pixels view. I have an imported bitmap of a UI I want to modify a few elements on, including text. But looking at the generated text in Preview it's too perfect (perfectly smooth curved edges even at high zoom, and in Pixels view while I can see the pixels, because it's antialiasing text, it looks indistinct compared with the text in the same font in the underlying bitmap image.
How do I turn off antialiasing?

Mar 29, 2012I have searched and found links to make text look like gold leaf but not how to take text that is already there and turn it into gold leaf. This is a diploma I scanned and the word RECOGNITION is in gold leaf on the original. I would like to replicate it as close as possible on a copy but am very limited on Photoshop knowledge. I can select it with the magic wand and then paint fill it another color but the gold color I have looks like plane light yellow when I print it not even close to actual gold.
I know there is way to do this but I am lost on what to do. I dont want to change anything else just the word Recognition to something that looks very close to actual gold leaf.
Revit :: Turn Visibility Off On Border Of Text
Mar 18, 2013I am trying to tag doors in a drawing. What I want to see is the door size, so I turn on 'width' parameter, and turn visibility off on the border of the text. Change the size of the text to match, easy enough. Now I want to place the text along the open door in the floor plan view, but the tag always jumps to the center of the door frame. Can this be modified to do as I want? is there an alignment parameter I can alter? Perhaps tagging the door family and aligning it in the family editor? Does Revit is capable of doing this. Until then, I have to place the text for each individual door.

Dec 5, 2012I just upgraded to 2.8 and when I want to add some text this tool appears on top of the text box. No matter where I move the text box it chases my text box around. It is annoying as it covers part of my image and I don't need it there. How do I turn this thing off?
Also why when I choose New Toolbox I get this super long tool pane. I resize it to what I want. Then when I close it and do it again it comes back again. Any way to set this up correctly?

If I have a psd file with 10 layers, sometimes I want to quickly move an element around but, regardless of what layer I'm working on, or which layer is selected, my "selection tool" will grab whatever layer is the top one, or the whole "group" is the layer is in one, instead. So, usually, I have to reorder my layers to make the adjustment and then reorder them again.

When I insert or overwrite a clip into the timeline, the timeline don´t respect the highlighted layers (ex. if layer 1, 2 and 3 were highlighted and the clip were put in layer 1, clips on second and third layer should be deleted between in and out markers, but they aren´t.
The Ctrl+D and Ctrl+Shift+D commands (add transition) doesn´t work like the other versions too (respecting where the cursor is)the buttons to go to the next cut on timeline (in my keyboard, A and S) doesn´t work right too.I would like to know if these are bugs or the new Premiere CC is different from the others before.
