I use tabs in my document for indentation. When my cursor is at the beginning of a line, and I use the up/down keys, the cursor always jumps to the end of the first tab.
This only happens in tab-indent, not space-indent.
Is this supposed to be a "feature"? How can I make it stay at the same cursor position when navigating with arrow keys?
Just installed upgrade to 2012 on same machine as 2011. Within the drawing area of both Model & Paper space, cursor is jumping and slow across screen.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have just swapped from PC to Mac and in the process upgraded from LR 3 to LR 4. I have always had some minor issues with the spot removal tool occassionally jamming up or not working smoothly and taking a long time in LR3 on PC, but so far using the tool in LR 4 on Mac has been painful. It is like it is slow to load, and then the cursor/spot removal circle just dissapears or freezes? I want to be able to fix minor blemishes etc quickly in LR instead of having to go to PS
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm still playing around with CS-2 on the Mac and have got a question about adjusting how much the cursor will move, can't seem to find a place to adjust it.
I had cut out an object from one photo and was trying to place it on another photo. However it dosn't seem to want to move exactly to the place I would like to put it. The increments seem to be large when I try to move it around.
I have two Apple 30" Cinema displays, a 24" Cintiq and an overhead projector. My illustrator files keep on jumping from one of the Apple Displays either to the Cintiq or the projector even if they are off. Also illustrator files may open in any one of them.
View 2 Replies View RelatedSince installing Illustrator CS6 I am finding that my mouse jumps around the screen erratically while trying to draw making it almost impossible to use the program. It is particularly bad when I connect to a projector for training purposes. This doesn't happen with any previous version of Illustrator (or any other program for that matter). I know it isn't something as simple as my mouse because I tried several different ones but to no avail.
I am using Illustrator CS6 for Windows on Windows 7 and my problem is mainly on my laptop which is a Dell Vostro 1520.
I am a photographer and am using CS5 for image manipulation . I have recently bought a Lenovo Ideapad to use for editing but it seems to have an issue with the space bar shortcut. As soon as I press the space bar, the cursor will not move, I cannot click, not right click. If I plug in a USB Mouse, it will work fine.
Obviously most of the time I will be using a mouse, but it is most frustrating when I'm using the scratch pad and cannot pan around the image. I have checked through all the settings I can find regarding the scratch pad.
New to CAD, so probably typical newby problem. When I try to draw (in Nanocad, since it's the only one I can afford) I don't see what I'm doing, i.e. the lines and figures keep disappearing when I move the cursor. Trying again I see my drawings very briefly and then they're gone again. Tried all and every button, menu etc. and hardware is okay.
View 7 Replies View RelatedIllustrator has been having a problem where anytime that I click the mouse down, it starts jumping around the screen, usually to about 2" down and 3" from the left of the screen. This is only in Illustrator though, Photoshop, and any other programs work fine.
I've tried disabling the Logitech driver too,

How do I use the arrow keys with the paint bucket to contain only a select portion of colors from a color group in the swatch panel? I create a color group, but when I arrow right or left, it uses a couple colors, then it jumps all over the place.

I have a layer I'm resizing and is currently in Transform.When I beging to drag the layer to position while it is in resize the center reference point will jump to my mouse causing me to move the reference point outside of the tranform layer. Normally I would have to click on the reference point and drag it intentionally or hold CTRL and click in the transformed layer to set a reference point, but it since CS6 is had still remainded in CC.
This happens when I transform the layer (Ctrl+T) and then grab the layer to move. I have to put the reference point back to center via mouse or by the reference point on the menu bar up top. Then I can go back and drag my later where I need it to finish my transform.
How do I make a button with indented text on it?
Something that looks like an engraving in stone.

what I'm after is to take a design I've made in Illustrator:

But instead of applying the pattern as a surface, have it with depth.
In Photoshop CS6 the flashing type cursor cuts through several lines of text (see image).
This makes it hard to select text since it is hard to tell which line the cursor will select (see image).
Can the text cursor be resized? This happens no matter what type size is used or what paragraph settings are selected. I am using Windows 7 professional, service pack 1 on a Dell Precision T3500 with 8.0 GB RAM.
I am using autocad 2010 and this morning the cursor stopped highlighting the lines and 3d objects, tried everything but no luck.

So I want to type in a column, so I went to type > type orientation. However, Each character is vertical. I want to type two characters on a line, then break to the next 'line', as I'm working on a calendar piece and I want all numbers to be aligned straight up and down.

AI CS5 in Windows 7.
I made a rectangle and converted it into a path. Type in the rectangle 16 words stacked one on top of the other. Used the Fit Headline for each word so it would fit the box no matter what the font size is. Attempted to use the Align tool, but it doesn't work. Used the Character flyout for spacing between each word, but it doesn't make and equal distribution.
I am somewhat new to AI and mostly working in PS, but I don't like the type quality in PS so on to AI. I do not know ID in case ayone was wondering.
