Feb 1, 2013I work on Mac and would like to print a design over multiple pages. The recurring problem however is that the printed sheets have a thin unprinted, blank border. I've tried various options in the print dialogue box, including all the borderless page setup options. This 2mm border keeps appearing in my prints. This is for silkscreening, so even though its only a 2mm border, this gap prevents me from putting all the printed sheets together as one design. The design, via the print dialogue box, is being saved as a PostScript file due to doing colour separations.

Aug 5, 2011I'm a new user of PSP X3, having upgraded from X2 and previously from X. When I used earlier versions, I could have numerous images open in the workspace, re-sizing, comparing, cross-cloning, etc. Now with X3 I can't seem to find any setting that will allow that same multiple image viewing. I've looked at the documentation but can't find any mention of this issue.
Am I just missing some checkbox or did Corel abandon this capability?

May 23, 2008Im trying to do multiple pages .pdf from .psd in PS CS 8.0. My .psd is just like text and some lines.
I can do the pdf from psd, but just as picture, so i cant select txt in .pdf.
Can i make in PS CS pdf where I could also select text in pdf document?
In Illustrator the pdf is oki, but i cant make there more pages in one pdf document.

Oct 27, 2012I've been using Photoshop to create a series of web pages. I have about 20 such pages right now.Unfortunately, I need to change the navigation menu that is found on all 20 pages.
To make these changes, do I need to change 20 different files? Or is there a way to link one layer group to multiple PSD files so that editing it once results in it changing on all 20 pages?

Jan 14, 2013My brother sent me a TIF file that had multiple pages within it. I never knew this was possible. Is this something that can be done in Photoshop then converted to a TIF file? Once I opened the TIF file, it allowed me to flip from one page to the next so the pages weren't all scanned side by side.

Sep 22, 2011when we set a document to print in landscape in Corel and then leave it as portrait in the printing preferences, it will print landscape which is fine, then if you put it to landscape in print preferences (still having it as landscape in the program) it will print portrait!

Both of the above are happening on a HP 5550 laser printer, we have 4 classrooms each with a 5550 printer in.

THE ISSUE - when sending multiple pages to the printer, where the pages are spooled, the output will have vertical rasterized streaks of zaggies throughout the output.
THE SOLUTION - send 1 page at a time, wait for it to print, then send next page. FYI Corel has a similar issue when sending several spot pages at the same time.

On the window platform in another software program the multiple pages and/or poster options appear in the print window. But not in Photoshop on my mac. Apr 20, 2012I was sent a detailed map in dwg format that shows a river in the country. The model has a layer called sheets that has 17 rectangles in many orientations which overlap and cover the data i wish to print. There is a layout tab called "Sheet 2 to 17" which show page 17 with a tempalte when the pointer is over the tab similar to Windows 7 Aero, but if you open the layout the page space is blank. I'm not familiar with the use of a layer to break the drawing into multpile overlapping sheets and my end goal is to print the model as the 17 defined sheets on 11 x 17 paper.

Jun 27, 2012We run a Canon ipf655... and as far as I can tell, it won't collate by itself - it gets its information from whatever application one's running. In this case, we are running Autocad 2013. I am trying to figure out a way to print an entire job (say, 30 sheets) without having to open up each and every page and print singly. That's what we do now, and apparently have done for the last 15 years; so if my boss requests a copy of the yadda yadda set from 6 mos ago, we have to go back, open up the cover page, open up every other page, and print them in order.
Is there some way to either save all these individual pages as a "job" or something and then print that "job", or otherwise to instruct the program to print 30 pages in whatever order? Each page is definitely set up differently, with different scales and window sizes and such, but it seems like once each page is set up to print properly, one should be able to print a slew of pages without such painstaking time spent.

Dec 2, 2005I'm doing a project for my World Religions class, and we are to make a a poster board that is supposed to represent a newspaper. He showed examples of last years, and they were really bland, it just looked like cut out pieces of paper places on a posterboard with a newspaper-like title.
I want to know if it is possible to make an image in photopshop, that basically looks like the front of a newspaper by my design, and print it out, of course, this is going on a poster board probably like 2ftx3ft.
So I'd print out like 6 to 9 8x11 sheets with pieces of this huge picture, I'd just cut it out and glue it on the poster board, so itll more realistically resemble a newspaper. I'm fine with using photoshop and make images etc (unless someone has some useful tips)... I'm just concerned if I will be able to do this. I haven't been able to mess with it and figure it out, but I dont want to go through all of my project, print it, and it doesnt work or something.
If not in photoshop, is there a plug-in, external program I can use?
