I've been using Photoshop to create a series of web pages. I have about 20 such pages right now.Unfortunately, I need to change the navigation menu that is found on all 20 pages.
To make these changes, do I need to change 20 different files? Or is there a way to link one layer group to multiple PSD files so that editing it once results in it changing on all 20 pages?
Im trying to do multiple pages .pdf from .psd in PS CS 8.0. My .psd is just like text and some lines.
I can do the pdf from psd, but just as picture, so i cant select txt in .pdf.
Can i make in PS CS pdf where I could also select text in pdf document?
In Illustrator the pdf is oki, but i cant make there more pages in one pdf document.
My brother sent me a TIF file that had multiple pages within it. I never knew this was possible. Is this something that can be done in Photoshop then converted to a TIF file? Once I opened the TIF file, it allowed me to flip from one page to the next so the pages weren't all scanned side by side.

On the window platform in another software program the multiple pages and/or poster options appear in the print window. But not in Photoshop on my mac. View 7 Replies View RelatedI'm doing a project for my World Religions class, and we are to make a a poster board that is supposed to represent a newspaper. He showed examples of last years, and they were really bland, it just looked like cut out pieces of paper places on a posterboard with a newspaper-like title.
I want to know if it is possible to make an image in photopshop, that basically looks like the front of a newspaper by my design, and print it out, of course, this is going on a poster board probably like 2ftx3ft.
So I'd print out like 6 to 9 8x11 sheets with pieces of this huge picture, I'd just cut it out and glue it on the poster board, so itll more realistically resemble a newspaper. I'm fine with using photoshop and make images etc (unless someone has some useful tips)... I'm just concerned if I will be able to do this. I haven't been able to mess with it and figure it out, but I dont want to go through all of my project, print it, and it doesnt work or something.
If not in photoshop, is there a plug-in, external program I can use?
Surely the Find/Replace Objects dialog boxes don't just restrict itself to searching on the current page... that would be stupid but it seems to be that way.
View 15 Replies View Relatedwhen we set a document to print in landscape in Corel and then leave it as portrait in the printing preferences, it will print landscape which is fine, then if you put it to landscape in print preferences (still having it as landscape in the program) it will print portrait!

Both of the above are happening on a HP 5550 laser printer, we have 4 classrooms each with a 5550 printer in.
I'm using Window 7 Home edition and AutoCAD 2014.
When I publish multiple pages with either pdf or printing, it only prints the first layout. I tried to repair/reinstall AutoCAD and the problem still exist.
Having an issue with Xara Pro 4 and AccuRIP (Epson1430). Not sure if it's Xara, The printer or AccuRIP issue.
THE ISSUE - when sending multiple pages to the printer, where the pages are spooled, the output will have vertical rasterized streaks of zaggies throughout the output.
THE SOLUTION - send 1 page at a time, wait for it to print, then send next page. FYI Corel has a similar issue when sending several spot pages at the same time.

I'd like to make several drawings * see attachment* , add in the text.....add in some jpgs.....and have ONE document with multiple pages for my customers.
So far I can only seem to make one page at a time. Operator error I am sure.
The drawing I just finished and need to plot is 19"L x 9-1/2"H. The printer I have here only does 8-1/2x11 sheets.
How do I plot this drawing on a 1:1 scale so it will print on multiple sheets of 8-1/2x11 to make the single complete drawing? I've tried changing the plot setting but guess I'm over my head.
Every time I open a multi-page pdf in illustrator, it only opens the first page.. Why is this, and is there an option to change it? CS5
View 1 Replies View RelatedI work on Mac and would like to print a design over multiple pages. The recurring problem however is that the printed sheets have a thin unprinted, blank border. I've tried various options in the print dialogue box, including all the borderless page setup options. This 2mm border keeps appearing in my prints. This is for silkscreening, so even though its only a 2mm border, this gap prevents me from putting all the printed sheets together as one design. The design, via the print dialogue box, is being saved as a PostScript file due to doing colour separations.

I was sent a detailed map in dwg format that shows a river in the country. The model has a layer called sheets that has 17 rectangles in many orientations which overlap and cover the data i wish to print. There is a layout tab called "Sheet 2 to 17" which show page 17 with a tempalte when the pointer is over the tab similar to Windows 7 Aero, but if you open the layout the page space is blank. I'm not familiar with the use of a layer to break the drawing into multpile overlapping sheets and my end goal is to print the model as the 17 defined sheets on 11 x 17 paper.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWe run a Canon ipf655... and as far as I can tell, it won't collate by itself - it gets its information from whatever application one's running. In this case, we are running Autocad 2013. I am trying to figure out a way to print an entire job (say, 30 sheets) without having to open up each and every page and print singly. That's what we do now, and apparently have done for the last 15 years; so if my boss requests a copy of the yadda yadda set from 6 mos ago, we have to go back, open up the cover page, open up every other page, and print them in order.
Is there some way to either save all these individual pages as a "job" or something and then print that "job", or otherwise to instruct the program to print 30 pages in whatever order? Each page is definitely set up differently, with different scales and window sizes and such, but it seems like once each page is set up to print properly, one should be able to print a slew of pages without such painstaking time spent.
Currently I have 30 .xar files that I have to export one by one to PDF, then I have to use a terrible PDF stitcher that cost me $30. Is there a way in either version 6 or 7 that enables you to create a single .xar document but actually have multiple pages within it?

It's time consuming to hit that printer button x number of times. Is it possible to split a parts list onto multiple pages/sheets? My only solution is to place the parts list three separate times on three separate sheets and on the first sheet hide items 11-30, then on the second sheet hide items 1-10 and 21-30, and then on the third sheet hide items 1-20. View 3 Replies View RelatedI am trying to load single pages from multi page tiffs, convert them to monochrome (dithered), flatten the image, then save them as single monochrome, ccitt group4 tiffs. - all through scripts.
The multipage tiffs contain pages in grayscale and color which were created using the old style (problematic) JPEG compression option.
I have tried other tools, such as libtiff (modified with a patch to handle the old jpeg compression), and the latest version of imagemajick. Unfortunately they cannot correctly convert the files, whereas gimp can, but only one page of the multi-page tiff at a time(gimp crashes if I load a 5page document (as separate images) then convert each image to monochrome,flatten and save in one session)
the scripting function for loading tiffsfile-tiff-load does not expose the options to load individual pages, or to select loading as images or as layers, which the visual file load/import does.
How I can achieve this using a script.? Manually is not a problem, but too time consuming for large (eg. 200page) tiffs.
I am creating an object that has four text boxes in an object that is about 2" x 4". When I do the merge, I end up with multiple pages, all 2" x 4". How can I now move those pages spaced about a larger page, say 11" x 17" so I can have positioned and print multiple 2" x 4" objects on the larger sheet?
