My brother sent me a TIF file that had multiple pages within it. I never knew this was possible. Is this something that can be done in Photoshop then converted to a TIF file? Once I opened the TIF file, it allowed me to flip from one page to the next so the pages weren't all scanned side by side.

Scenario: I edit a file in photoshop with multiple layers (.tiff or .psd). I then add that file to my lightroom catalog and would like to have it automatically updated in lightroom when making changes in photoshop. I know this is possible when using the "Edit in Photoshop" option but I can't seem to get it working when I had the file in photoshop first.
If I import the file into lightroom and then make changes in photoshop the changes are not applied in lightroom. If, in lightroom, I choose "edit in photoshop" then I get a flat image generated from the lightroom file that does not have all my previously created photoshop layers.
Is it possible in CorelDraw X5 shifting of multiple pages placement at once. For instance if we have a file of 50 pages (1-50) and we require shifting of page nos 41-48 with their contents after page no 8 than how should we proceed to get the resultant.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm making a book with large full bleed illustrations on each page.For ease of use I would like to use regular photoshop fonts. If I flatten and save my pages as Tiff files will it be the same as outlining fonts in Illustrator? In other words I won't have to include fonts. I am then going to drop the pages in InDesign in correctly paginated spreads to staple in the middle.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI am using PSE 12 as an external editor for Aperture. When I ask to use an external photo editor, Aperture creates a .tiff file in my Aperture folder, launches PSE 12 and tells it to edit that .tiff file. This all works great. When I am done editing in PSE 12, I ask it to save the file and it saves it back to the original Aperture folder with a .tif extension. I can instead say "save as" and then it suggests the file name with a .tif extension. When I correct the extension to .tiff it warns me that I'm going to overwrite the file (exactly what I want!). I say yes and then I find out that PSE did not overwrite the file, but wrote it as a .tif file anyway. I have to go to the folder, delete the .tiff file and rename the .tif file to .tiff and then everything is fine - but what a hassle.

To make these changes, do I need to change 20 different files? Or is there a way to link one layer group to multiple PSD files so that editing it once results in it changing on all 20 pages?

View 7 Replies View RelatedI'm doing a project for my World Religions class, and we are to make a a poster board that is supposed to represent a newspaper. He showed examples of last years, and they were really bland, it just looked like cut out pieces of paper places on a posterboard with a newspaper-like title.
I want to know if it is possible to make an image in photopshop, that basically looks like the front of a newspaper by my design, and print it out, of course, this is going on a poster board probably like 2ftx3ft.
So I'd print out like 6 to 9 8x11 sheets with pieces of this huge picture, I'd just cut it out and glue it on the poster board, so itll more realistically resemble a newspaper. I'm fine with using photoshop and make images etc (unless someone has some useful tips)... I'm just concerned if I will be able to do this. I haven't been able to mess with it and figure it out, but I dont want to go through all of my project, print it, and it doesnt work or something.
If not in photoshop, is there a plug-in, external program I can use?
I am cleaning up the Hard Drive on my Mac G4. My scanned images are taking a great portion of the 80 Gig drive. I finished clearing my external drive by removing nearly 60 gigs of images by storing them on DVD. I will do the same for the Mac drive.
My trouble is that all my images are stored in TIFF format which takes up enormous space no matter the storage. Since I output images in various sizes, mainly prints, to 30 x 40 inches, I need a master image archived in the best format for such. However, I do not want to fill my drives, or DVD, with large files. Code:
Surely the Find/Replace Objects dialog boxes don't just restrict itself to searching on the current page... that would be stupid but it seems to be that way.

I'm using Window 7 Home edition and AutoCAD 2014.
When I publish multiple pages with either pdf or printing, it only prints the first layout. I tried to repair/reinstall AutoCAD and the problem still exist.
Having an issue with Xara Pro 4 and AccuRIP (Epson1430). Not sure if it's Xara, The printer or AccuRIP issue.
THE ISSUE - when sending multiple pages to the printer, where the pages are spooled, the output will have vertical rasterized streaks of zaggies throughout the output.
THE SOLUTION - send 1 page at a time, wait for it to print, then send next page. FYI Corel has a similar issue when sending several spot pages at the same time.

So far I can only seem to make one page at a time. Operator error I am sure.
The drawing I just finished and need to plot is 19"L x 9-1/2"H. The printer I have here only does 8-1/2x11 sheets.
How do I plot this drawing on a 1:1 scale so it will print on multiple sheets of 8-1/2x11 to make the single complete drawing? I've tried changing the plot setting but guess I'm over my head.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI work on Mac and would like to print a design over multiple pages. The recurring problem however is that the printed sheets have a thin unprinted, blank border. I've tried various options in the print dialogue box, including all the borderless page setup options. This 2mm border keeps appearing in my prints. This is for silkscreening, so even though its only a 2mm border, this gap prevents me from putting all the printed sheets together as one design. The design, via the print dialogue box, is being saved as a PostScript file due to doing colour separations.

I was sent a detailed map in dwg format that shows a river in the country. The model has a layer called sheets that has 17 rectangles in many orientations which overlap and cover the data i wish to print. There is a layout tab called "Sheet 2 to 17" which show page 17 with a tempalte when the pointer is over the tab similar to Windows 7 Aero, but if you open the layout the page space is blank. I'm not familiar with the use of a layer to break the drawing into multpile overlapping sheets and my end goal is to print the model as the 17 defined sheets on 11 x 17 paper.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWe run a Canon ipf655... and as far as I can tell, it won't collate by itself - it gets its information from whatever application one's running. In this case, we are running Autocad 2013. I am trying to figure out a way to print an entire job (say, 30 sheets) without having to open up each and every page and print singly. That's what we do now, and apparently have done for the last 15 years; so if my boss requests a copy of the yadda yadda set from 6 mos ago, we have to go back, open up the cover page, open up every other page, and print them in order.
Is there some way to either save all these individual pages as a "job" or something and then print that "job", or otherwise to instruct the program to print 30 pages in whatever order? Each page is definitely set up differently, with different scales and window sizes and such, but it seems like once each page is set up to print properly, one should be able to print a slew of pages without such painstaking time spent.
Currently I have 30 .xar files that I have to export one by one to PDF, then I have to use a terrible PDF stitcher that cost me $30. Is there a way in either version 6 or 7 that enables you to create a single .xar document but actually have multiple pages within it?
