I have been using CorelDRAW X3 for awhile, but do not know any Visual Basic to create a macro to do what I am looking for. Is there any method of importing each file to a new page, rather than adding a new page and importing the file separately?

I am trying to put together a document with about 20 illustrated pages which are created by others in pdf format, They are all A6 size.I wanted to know if Coreldraw x5 can do this (as I have a copy of this) and how - I may need to make some changes to these pdfs, but would be minor editing only (hopefully).
I know this is possible in Indesign - but wanted to do it in Coreldraw as this is the package i have.
I have a document with multiple pages. I need each page saved as a separate JPEG file.
I can do this by exporting each page individually, but this is painful - I have 29 pages to export.
Is there any way to export all pages in one step? I would like the JPEG files to be created with the page name as the file name.
I would like to split - ungroup an object and than put every part to a separate page ( need to export it to PDF after ). Since there are a lot of parts I would like to know if there is a quicker way, a macro ore something, to do this automatically.

I'm trying to find a way to plot multiple (over a thousand) DWG files to PDF without doing each one manually. I've played around a little bit but without any luck. I'm using AutoCAD 2002 LT. Is there any way to do this?
I've also got little to no experience with the more complex settings and abilities of autocad so do so in laymans terms.
2002 lt has no general publish (only publish to web) option and how sheet sets work.
Surely the Find/Replace Objects dialog boxes don't just restrict itself to searching on the current page... that would be stupid but it seems to be that way.

Both of the above are happening on a HP 5550 laser printer, we have 4 classrooms each with a 5550 printer in.

Is there a tutorial that goes in depth with this? just froze one file at work, lucked out and opened at home. Each cut list is an individual worksheet, which may be the problem.

I am using spot colours. . .I can import the eps file into Corel 11 and Illustrator CS4 and they work fine once I reexport them . . I can export out of X5 as a pdf and it works fine . . . let's say I have a page with 6 images and 6 captions. is there anyway to crop out more than one at a time and save them? Currently I have to crop out all but one, then save that one, then reload the image and crop out another one and save etc over and over. is there a better way?

I have to import multiple files from Solidworks. I don't have any issues with that except that when I import these files they are base files. All the intelligence is wiped out. I know that Solidworks can import Inventor files and keep all of the intelligence in the file. Does Autodesk have translator software that will allow the import of a solidworks file and keep the intelligence used to build the model?

"The selected file contains a definition of a building site that is already in use."
"What would you like to do?"
"Update the definition of the existing building site (cancel the import and use the selected file to update the definition of the existing building site.)" - THIS OPTION REPLACES THE FIRST BUILDING WITH THE NEW BUILDING I HAVE SELECTED
"Browse to another file (display the file browse dialog to select a different file.)"
My team and I have tried every we can think of including the following (see attached):
Renaming the files Moving the files to different folders Importing each building site into a new file and copy and pasting into the model (this works until someone tries to import a building site, which will inevitably happen and ruin this work around)Double-checking all related settings.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI've recently upgraded to Corel Draw X5 having used many previous versions (back to Corel 6) but i'm having a few issues when importing .EPS files.
I normally do a design in AutoCAD, then export to .eps, then import into Corel.
Im finding an issue though, when I import an EPS that contains text, the middle section of the text will not combine and fill correctly.
For example, if I were to import a letter "Q" when I then combine the outer section to the middle section in previous versions the letter would appear normally, with a "Hollow" inner section. However, in X5, I combine the letter and the inner section does not combine with the outer section, leaving me with a solid black symbol, with the outline of a letter "Q" but no centre piece to define the actual character.
I work exclusively in coreldraw x4 but am need someone who works in illustrator, which means they need to be able to open my files, work on them, send them back and then i need to be able to open them in x4. don't care what file types are involved as long as i end up back with a .cdr file that still has all the important info like groups, font details, accurate cmyk values, lenses, pattern fills and gradient fills intact. etc.
since i also have illustrator on my machine i thought i'd do some tests to see if this works and here's what i've found:
1. cdr files saved as ai seem to open perfectly in ai with the exception of color changes in pattern fills. (they look essentially the same but CMYK values are oddly different.) they stay in the altered cmyk values coming back into corel.
2. coming back to corel some teeny tiny amount of info just plain disappears (in this case, some outlines)
i've tried bring it in as a pdf file and ai (and yes, importing both times) but still the issues.
Imagine a layer containing 10 squares, each square is isolated (none are touching). I need a quick way to put each of those squares on its own layer. Is there something already built in, or any plugin or action?

The installation was finished successfully The programs were installed on Windows 7- 64 bit platform. After the installation I started to work with the Designer X6 and it was running correctly. I tried to import a 3D dwg. file into a new blank drawing and Corel started up XVL Studio program.
I tried to import one of my existing dwg. 2013 file in the XVL but during the process an error occurred. I tried again with different versions dwg and dxf files but XVL just couldn't import the files and I always was given the same messages. "Unable to import ... file". I'd like to insert my existing 3D drawing as vector graphic in Corel in order to editing technical illustration.
