GIMP :: Quickly Move Through Layers Viewing One At A Time?
Sep 17, 2012I just want to draw some simple animations, and I was thinking of using the layers as frames, like with gif creation. I know you can use pageup and page down to quickly shift focus from one layer to the next, but is there a way to only have the current layer visible without having to mess with the visbility toggle for each layer?

The font increases, but the text boxes don't expand to fit the increased size text. So I am having to make each box bigger manually. Feb 24, 2013Windows 7, PS Elements 5.0 and all these years I have never had a problem. But now when I open the program my on screen pointer has 2 shadows following it around. Meaning, there's three of them now.
This only happens in the main screen. When changing tools or using the menus,, the pointer changes back to an arrow to make your selection.

Dec 13, 2013I imported a number of Powerpoint slides into VideoStudio Pro X6 and am now recording voice audio for them. My problem is: I don't know how to stretch each slide's duration to match its audio. By default, all the slides came in with a 3 sec duration. I can increase each to a max of 6 sec, but that's not long enough for my audio.
I've dug around the internet and watched tutorials on Corel's site, but they don't work. Everything I've looked at (even page 60 in the User's Guide for X5) says that to change a photo's duration, double-click it and select "Speed/Time-Lapse" on the Edit screen.
When I double-click a photo, there isn't a "Speed/Time-Lapse" option on my Edit screen (see image). So how am I supposed to change the slide's duration?

Jan 15, 2012i just installed the 2012 autocad on my laptop and everytime i use trim or rotate or anything else the screen just goes black and the computer freezes for a few seconds and then it comes back and tell me that its trying to adjust the program with the monitor but it never ends and it keeps doing the same thing. btw my laptop specs are: windows7 home premium, intel i5, 6gb ddr3, intel HD3000 graphics.

First, here's my puter info: Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E520, Intel i5-2410M Core proc @2.3Ghz, 4Gig RAM, Win 7 pro 64 bit.
PSP X5 - version 15.1.0.10.
Here's da scoop:
Open X5
Open jpg file (have tried various sizes, both physical and pixel, and makes no difference)
Add Raster layer
Create tiny color dot on new layer
Merge layers
Dies, freezes up, have to shut it down and lose what I just modified.
Now, mind you, I've been using PSP since way back in the Jasc days. For years I was one of their beta testers, because I USE THIS EVERY SINGLE DAY! Literally, I'm in it every day. I love X4, still trying to get into X5, but similar to when X4 came out, X5 is slowly PMO'ing me! I create hundreds of scripts, and lots dozens of plug-ins, and so far the majority seem to work fine in X5, however this whole issue of it crashing and freezing up my puter is really getting on my nerves.
After the crash, I can re-open X5 and it'll work fine on the first image. Then next image, SSSD!
Really is getting aggravating this constant crashing. Starting to think that Corel isn't creating this software but Microsoft is

I have to use ALT/CONTROL/DELETE to get out of it and start over... and I lose my work. It usually happens when I use the 'eraser' but NOT ALWAYS. I have a Photoshop document made by someone else that I am opening. There are 5 layers. 3 are hidden. When I hide all the layers, the image still appears on screen.
In the layers palette I see Unify: with 3 icons to click on and Propogate Frame 1 is checked. I don't believe I have ever seen this before in the layers pallete. Below I have an image of what is going on. Not sure if there is a way to set up a file like this when starting a new document or what, but this is what's happening; all layers hidden, but image appears.
