I am trying to check and un-check options for Transparent Interface, but only menus and color palette became transparent. Dockers are staying opaque.
Is it me, my computer, or a bug?

I'm only talking about changing the file size in JPG to a smaller or larger one for saving, We tried something yesterday, which sort of worked, but I decided the best solution was just to re-scan the original image again, which came out a lot smaller (ks), even though both methods were set to achieve 200 dpi. I think that was under "scale image". (I have been used to using a method called "resample" in another program, where you can change the dpi or inches/mm and off it goes.)

View 7 Replies View RelatedI have read several post regarding dockers not locking in a 2nd monitor, and none of the answers have solved my problem. I have two monitors. My monitor on my left is a big 27" monitor and I use it as my drawing monitor. The second monitor is smaller and set to portrait on my right, and is used for my dockers. Every time I open CorelDraw I have to drag my dockers to my 2nd screen.... I have tried resetting to factory settings, I have tried saving my work space as default. Nothing is working.

How do I reset the Dockers to default without resetting the whole workspace (X5 version 15.2.0.686)?
I was experimenting a little bit with the dockers at the right side of the workspace of Corel Draw X5 and now for some reason when I go to "Window" and select a new docker to open, the new docker appears not nested with the rest as it did before, but as new floating window so I have to add it to the rest as a tab manually which is not handy. Up to now each new docker would appear already nested. This is annoying because I really liked the way the dockers appear nested in tabs in X5.
How I can make the dockers appear again tabbed once I open them?
I am having trouble with some of the dockers. Some of them when i go to window dockers and click on them come up just fine, but there are a few and don't come up at all. Like Contour or Text Properties.

None of the ones listed under arrange, transformations will work. Have I accidently turned something off or what. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and it is the same. I am running windows 7

I can do them 1 at a time, but I want to do this to 100's of images, how to 'automate' the process??
In the attached photo, I've already done some transforming and cropping to the get the top of the photo to be relatively straight.
I'm pretty sure what I need to do now is find a way to get the lower left of the photo to be pushed down and to the left to both: stop the appearance of that side of the photo jutting out more and to straighten out the white sign that says SOHO NOW OPEN so that it's flush with the top. However, I've tried all the transform tools and none of them are making that happen for me.
I have been working with creating the effect of indented text. I have created a new fill which I placed behind my original one.I then went to "Effec" Transform & Distort" " Transform". I was going to add a vertical move of 1px - BUT it doesn't move vertically? My fill is moving downwards 1px?!
I thought I was going crazy until I zoomed in and applied the same setting again....sure enough it is moving down for veritical and vertically for down.
Left - Marquee Tool > Transform > Skew
Middle - Liquify filter with "use graphic processors" selected
Right - Liquify filter without (same result)
Image above is at 200% zoom
All Transform tools cause jaggy edge. I've only tried these tools and Liquify for the last month and a half.
Uninstalled, re-installed Windows, Photoshop, graphic card - Evga 560 ti - drivers (all versions). No prevail.
CS5 works flawlessly on this system. These tools also work fine on my laptop which use Radeon HD3470.
I recently started having this problem in Photoshop CS6 where using the transform or selection tools makes all the layers other than my background layer disappear so I can't see what I'm selection or transforming. This happens randomly out of nowhere. I can be using those tools all day with no problem, and then out of nowhere it starts making things invisible.
There doesn't seem to be any other programs running that would cause it (not that that should be an issue, my computer could easily run all my Adobe programs at once if I wanted it to), and the only thing that seems to fix it so far is restarting Photoshop. But that gets old really fast when I have to do it over and over again. I tried calling Adobe, but somehow they're always closed, even during their supposed hours of operation.
I know how to use CC sphere to make the earth from the map. But I'm wondering how to animate the transformation. For esamples: [URL]....

View 5 Replies View RelatedI use rhino 3d for a lot of my modeling and just recently been exploring 3ds max 2011, and I really like the mirror command in rhino because I can just click and mirror my object across a grid line, however in 3ds max the modifier is much more difficult to use in my opinion. If their are any former rhino users in the Area. way of using the mirror modifier to simulate the Rhino mirror command or even suggest another modifier that would preform in a similar manner as in rhino.

This is a macro I've been working on for a few days, what it does is it applies the selected transformation to each one of the selected objects individually. It rotates, scales and flips in both axes. I think this is a simple but useful workaround to the fact that Corel doesn't have a native command that does this.

I’m Photoshop self-taught. Most of the work I do on Photoshop involves placing elements (objects, people, animals, etc.) into regular and stock photos. Down below is a list of the tools and filters I use to adjust the element(s) so they look like they are a real part of the picture.I can get real close. Real close. But I can’t quite bring it home. I feel there’s some tool(s) or trick(s) or filter(s) I’m not using. I can’t find anything online or in Photoshop books or manuals.

I was working on a Photoshop CS4 file last night that was created in CS4 and has only been opened on this machine in CS4. I saved the file and closed Photoshop. When I open the file today, all my layers are gone, flattened into one Background layer, and the image looks like colored TV static. On top of that, the separate, older version of this file with a different name (created earlier in the week on the same machine in the same CS4) will not open at all - I get the error message, "Could not complete your request because the file is empty" and the file size has mysteriously shrunk to 76 KB from 20+ MB. What happened?! I'm guessing these files are corrupted beyond recovery, but why and how did this happen?

I know I am able to transform and object by typing feet (') and inches(") ex. 5' 6" but is it possible to display both? I know I can get it to display feet or inches but it always completes with a decimal. Is there a work around for this?
