I have an object of given area and would like to make copies of the object at a different area. It is an irregular object so is not something readily calculated in Windows calculator, any macro that would do this in X5?
View 6 RepliesI have a stock photo that I want to use that looks perfect except it is too small for what I wanted to use it for. I managed to aquire the same identicle image, only larger but the colors look totally different. Is there a quick and easy way (plugin or 3rd arty app even?) to make the second image's colors take on the exact same colors as the smaller copy? I really need to spend some time learning color correction, I know, but you'd think there'd be a one click solution for something like this.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI use Lightroom 3 and recently it has started making multiple duplicates of recent imported (and exported) photos without me doing anything.... what happens is I import a batch of photos, make adjustments to them, export them... close lightroom.
Then when I reopen lightroom, the previous imported set of photos have all been duplicated and sometimes there is more than one copy of each photo.
Is there anything I can do to stop this? I'm pretty sure I didn't change any settings to make this happen.
I have created a new drawing template, setup all border/title blocks and dimensioning styles as I would like. Save as a template and load it up from the 'new' menu, gives me this error and I am not clear on why since I set the details in it...
Not sure what the deal is but it resets my styles to default. Do I need to make copies of those default ones and set those as in my object defaults?

I am having an issue that cropped up as of late - I try to create a virtual copy of a photo, but instead of the normal page-turn icon in the bottom left and it auto-expanding to show the copies, it just creates a stack, and says "2" or "1 of 2" and the double line bars on both sides of the preview in Grid Mode. Is there a setting that I changed that caused that?

I have used Corel since Version 8.0 on Macintosh and Version X3 on PC with no problems with printing to Primera CD printers of various models. Also on Mac running Parallels and X3
I have had to go back to X3 on XP and Windows 7 to enable multiple copy printing.
Using the latest printer drivers where available and removing and reinstalling the drivers under XP and Win 7 with Corel X5 has had no effect. Both versions of windows are new clean installs on a dual processor XEON PC.
why this doesn't work. I have noted that other Primera printers have the same problem and I don't want to use the PDF option.
I'm having an issue printing to a Panasonic DP-C322 PS printer. I send my image and ask it to print multiple copies. The result is just a single copy of my image. If I use the PCL driver, the image prints in multiples, as expected.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am trying to mask out a light source in a complex figure. I have just upgraded from PSE 11 -> 12, but I doubt that is the problem. I thought the clone stamp tool in Editor was simply not working. When I'd drag (after setting a source) over the bright area, it would darken where I dragged.
From experience it seemed like it was marking the area it was going to modify - but this turned out to be the extent of the modification. It just stayed dark. Following other discussions, I adjusted my depth of history to ease RAM footprint, restarted Editor, and rebooted my Mac (OSC 10.9). I also twiddled with all the options under Clone Overlay. I could see the effects, but they did not fix the issue. When I try the Clone Stamp tool elsewhere, it does what I expect.
I'm suspecting pilot error, but don't know what else to try.
I have shape files (also SDF) but they are without area (in geometry box there is only Type: Polygon; Vertex, Vertex X, Vertex Y).
How do I get the area of the objects?
This is data I received but when I created shape files (or SDF) they also didn't have area in geometry?
Is there a rule or something? I know it can be displayed in feature properies after ticking the box but I want area in geometry.
I have this script that basically makes a shape expand by adding an outline, conveting the outline to an object, and then welding the whole thing together.
I have the script set to execute with hotkey ctrl+numpad+
The odd thing is, when I run it once, it seems to work fine and only one object is left, but when I hold down ctrl and press numoad+ over and over again, it seems to produce a new copy of the object everytime.
I'm not sure why this is happening, but I need to get it to stop.

Is there a command where I can stretch an object and keep its Area. Like a baseball when hit turns into an oval however keeps its same mass.
Not like the Stretch command that infinitely stretchs an object.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've just got AutoCAD 2012 and mkaing some rings, I needed to fit the same textures of a ring of 8mm in a 6mm ring. My problem is that the inside diameter is larger in the 6mm ring, and that's why I can't use the Scale command. Is there a command that allows me to fit all the objects in this area??

When I try to copy and paste a graphic into another illustrator file I get the message: "Can't paste the objects. The requested transformation would make some objects fall completely off the drawing area?" Do I need to change a pref setting? I'm using illus cs5.

I have images of two different canoes, one is grey, the other is orange. I would like to make the orange one the exactly the same colour as the grey one.
How do I do this? First I tried selecting the orange one, then filling it with the colour of the grey one (Edit > Fill >Mode=Colour) - but of course this retains the dark tone of the orange.
I have two "banners" created from a plane with a cloth modifier on each. One banner is in front of the other. I want the one in front to drop first. After it drops and is waving around a little...setting down...I want the second banner to drop. Because they are close to each other and both waving a bit, they will hit each other.
How can I have both set to be a cloth object and both set to be collision objects to the other? I thought it was one or the other. (In the cloth object properties)

its about making 3d object from transparent picture , is it possible, for example i want to make 3d obejct from this picture URL>... so it has depht (thicknes) and everythinh .i used to apply texture on plane and cut out edges of plane so they match the picture.

Im using auto cad 2013 and how i would go about making a 3d object using specific x,y,z coordinates.
I used the line tool with the exact coordinates i require. all the lines connected but don't know how it turns into a 3d object.
How do I extend this blue object to the upper bent area and then extrude all around it to get that one blue object because I want to see it's area?
