CorelDRAW X4 :: Stopped Working When Exporting Font To TTF File?
Jan 3, 2012
I've designed my vector font and exported the first letter as .ttf. in a new Font File.
When exporting the second letter, it asks me if I want to replace the file, and then says CorelDraw has stopped working. I've re-installed X4, but to no avail.
My CorelDraw suddenly stopped to produce PDFs. The dialog "Publish To PDF" opens fine, but when pressing "Save" it won't do anything after a while of loading. Usually it starts to process the file and a progress bar is shown, but no such is shown and no file is produced. The settings opens fine and no problems there.
Re-installing has been tried without resolving the issue. Different files has been tried, same problem.
For some reason my quick key "Control D" for Duplicate isn't working. It shows that it's still listed in the Tools, Options, Commands, Duplicate at times. At others, it appears empty. I now have to go to Edit and select the Delete function each time.
When I open PhotoPaint X5, which is part of my CroelDRAW X5 Suite, I receive an error message; "PhotoPaint has stopped working". CorelDraw X5 opens correctly without any problem.
I have un-installed and re-installed the CDX5 Suite, but the problem still persists.
Below is the 'Problem Signature', which means nothing to me!
I have Photoshop CS3. it was working perfectly. Today both the File > New and File > Open do nothing. Dragging a photoshop file onto the program does not open it. Creating a new document brings up the dialogue but clicking ok does not create a new document. Nothing happens.
For the past three days i have been working on a drawing in photoshop CS6. I was working on it this morning and it went just fine. I save it and when i quite the program a message appeared saying Photoshop has stoped working.
The file was still in the place i saved it, everything seemed ok so i took a brake. A few hours later i tried to open it again and a message apeared saying Photoshop could not open the file because it is not a valid Photoshop file I have tried to open previous .psd files and they worked just fine.
Whenever i save a file in Photoshop CC or i save as it crashes and gives me the "Adobe Photoshop cc has stopped working" so i can't use Photoshop CC for this reason. I have it sometimes with Illustrator CC as well.
Resetting the User Setting with the the F8 key didn't solve the problem. Once the user gets caught up on a couple projects I'll try to update the version to SP3 and the hotfix.
I am animating text so that it appears after a 3 second delay on page load. However, it does not seem to work at all. It worked for a paragraph of text, but it won't work for text that seems to be surrounded by other objects. I tried moving the animated object to the top-most layer, but that did not work.
I tried Nexus font (finally) and don't see why people have mentioned it. I don't like it and uninstalled it quickly.Which font manager do you think is better than Font Nav?
I have the problem to export the file either png or jpg to the exact 330x250 px. The thing is it exports to 330x249!! and I cant upload the design. I know how to export because any other sizes work fine e.g. there is no problem in exporting to 331x251 px, but can't export to 330x250.
I purchased CorelDraw X6 because it is a vector based program. I use vector drawings with my CAM software. I checked before purchasing that CorelDraw exported to AI and DXF. I have not been able to export the file to AI or DXF and have the file be in a vector form. When I try loading the AI or DXF file, the file is a bitmap.
What do I have to do to get Corel Draw to export the lines in a vector format that I can use?
My lightroom 3 has been working fine for ages and I suddenly cannot export at all, the screen just freezes and I have to go to task manager to shut it down. All of the other features are working 'develop' 'import' etc. Am working on windows.
I am trying to upload a file for a microstock site that requires an eps file under 8MB. As a cdr file, it is under 25KB but when I export the file as an eps it rockets to over 400,000KB.
I have a .cdr file which I would like to export in a ai file and open it in Photoshop. The ai file opens empty in Photoshop and logo's I made in CorelDraw are not there.
Which settings in the export window do you need to select?
When I usually work with corel, I export my files in .png when I finished working so that I can use them in Power Point or whatever. It was never a problem and still works with most of my files, but I have now one file that simply doesn't want to be converted.
I export it like usual (--> export --> .png) but than in the preview it shows me nothing but an empty bar-like part of the file, so basically nothing. The .png file that is created it empty.
When I draw an image on coreldraw 11, and save it as, or export it to a .plt file, it adds lord knows how many nodes, which creates issues for my plotter. How can I fix this issue? when drawing the images I use as little nodes as possible, but as soon as I export it or import it into artcut it has hundreds more nodes than I put in.
As part of a "kit", I need to export my files to 8 different file types. I've never really checked the .ai file type before as to how it appears. I did, however, tonight and found awful results. When I import my .ai file back in it looks awful. I'll post samples so you can see.... How to fix this on export? (How to upload both files so the one you see below is the result of the .ai export)
When I open a file that I have previously saved a message comes up saying the font Biondi Normal (Western) is not available and it wants to substitute with another font in this case Ribbon Normal which is nothing like the font I need. I have read the previous threads but as they are quite old I thought there might be something new (perhaps easier) I could try.
