I have lost the installer that I purchased to upgrade to X4 when I bought a Vista computer. I don't remember if there was a new license key, but if there was, I have lost it too. I still have the old version that I upgraded from and its key, but it will not function on my now Windows 7 system.

I downloaded a set of gradients from Photoshop Exchange. The downloaded gradient file appears in Windows Explorer ...presets > gradients folder. However, I cannot access the in the Photoshop gradient editor. The file does not appear in the pull-down menu of the gradient editor nor does it appear in the list when I click on the gradient editor load button. How do I access the downloaded gradients?
When I upgraded I did not have my back up disc connected . Many of my images in LR4 did not show up in LR5 .
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've hit since upgrading my Photoshop installation from CS5 to CS6 about a week ago. I'm using Lightroom 4.3 and all was fine when I had PS CS5 installed. Since installing CS6, however, Lightroom can no longer find my Photoshop installation and, as a result, all the Photoshop-specific "Edit In..." options offered by Lightroom ("Merge to panorama", "Open as Smart Object", "Open as layers", etc) are greyed out. I use these a lot and would really like to get them back but I can't see anything that lets me point Lightroom at my Photoshop installation other than adding it as a external editor (which doesn't reinstate these options).

I thought when I was moving my LR catalogues to my new computer, I might as well upgrade. Now I find out that not only have all the original file names been lost, or dropped (only my custom name&sequence.dng shows up, but now i realize that all the hours & hours of titling and captioning all my images in LR 2.6 is missing. Does this mean that I have to go all the way back to my last back-ups of LR 2.6? and then what?

I can find it in the lay out and also file- right click-tool bar- standard, it comes up but covers the whole menu bar. How can I retrieve the original file set-up, where it s incorporated in the new file?
I just upgraded to X5 (from X3). Many of the fonts that I have in my used are missing. I went through the Bit Stream Font Navigator and cannot located them there either. Many of my existing customer files require those fonts for use in their logos...etc. I also went to myfonts as indicated and did not see them there.

View 14 Replies View RelatedI cleared the temp/cache on my Windows 7 64 bit that has been running CorelDraw Suite 6 since its release. Never an issue. Now, after installing the latest upgrade the program Coreldraw loads just fine and it opened my most current file. After changing a letter in the text box the program crashes. You get a popup window that Coreldraw has closed. I rebooted my machine and it does this each time the program is reloaded.
I went through the common causes of Coreldraw issues and nothing is left to remove or change. Clearly the latest upgrade is flawed and instead of fixing performance issues it has created one that stops the program from working.
I upgraded another computer and the same issue appears after the upgrade. I did a system recovery and now Coreldraw will not open .cdr files into Coreldraw. It now shows a filter error and no file will open.

After applying SP3 Draw X5's 'Edit bitmap' command is always greyed out, regardless of the bitmap selected — even when the originating file is a CPT.
At first I thought of a corrupted Workspace, so I reset Draw with F8 at execution. No dice. This makes me think there may be an odd Registry setting or ini file entry that Draw needs to 'find' Photo-Paint X5. Photo-Paint appears to have emerged from the update unscathed.
I'm having problems updating.I downloaded the update, but when going to install, is still on the screen and the update does not continue the upgrade process.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI need to use CorelDraw X5 the bigger the pain in the neck the issue becomes.
The tabket is a Wacom Intuos 3 an my pen is set up to have a right click for the lower side button, double click for the upper side button and single click for the nib. In all applications and Windows this works as expected but as soon as I run X5 I lose the right click and it takes several minutes to return after I have quit X5.
While using CorelDraw the only way to get a right click is to hold down the nib to bring up a pop up menu.
Is there a setting in the tablet driver (or CorelDraw?) that will stop this happening?
I have lost the CMYK and RGB color pallets on Corel, we have tried re-installing, but still nothing!

Every since I updated CDx6, Photo-Paint no longer allows for drawing or erasing in a straight line by clicking, pressing the alt key and clicking again. Instead a scale comes up that changes the brush opacity...What happened? I can't figure out what happened. See attached file. The red arrow indicates what comes up when alt is pressed.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI downloaded and paid for the upgrade version of CorelDraw X6 because I have X3,X4 and X5. I have installed it already but I went to reinstall on my desktop PC as I wiped my hard drive back to factory state, CorelDRAW no longer gives the upgrade option.
On start up it gives the following message ( see below ) as a 30 day trial.

However what I type is stored as the name of the text layer, so it knows I've typed something in, I just can't see it.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI downloaded a nice building and want to destroy it like everybody else, in Rayfire. The problem i always get is that rayfire and 3ds crash when i try to fragment it. I use Convex simulation geometry and Voroni uniform as setting for fragmenting.
I dont know if these objects that i download are too complex for fracturing or if the geometry are intercepting each other inside the object. But if i stack basic shapes on top of each other everything works fine.
Also if i make a box, cut some holes in it and try to fracture it, rayfire fills the hole box and its not hollow anymore. I tried to add a "shell" to it so its not paper thin and fracture with the "voroni - thickness".
That seems to work in some way, but when i start simulation everything flies everywhere.I'm pretty new to 3ds, so i guess there are some basics i dont understand. How i can make outstanding special visual effects
in the gimp plug-in registry i downloaded 6 scm files... I hunted for folders in the gimp program folder to see if I can find any folders currently housing scm files but was unsuccessful at finding any... where am i supposed to put them?
