Mar 7, 2011When trying to open an EPS file in Corel PHOTO-PAINT, an error appears indicating that "The file cannot be opened".
AND, when PP is trying (unsuccesfully) to load the file, it also convert it into CPT, instead of keeping the EPS format.
(Photoshop can open EPS files without any problem...)

Dec 7, 2011I have encountered a problem with the bevel effect of corel draw that I can't seem to resolve. I have a vector image and I convert to curves. Click on effects/bevel/soft edge bevel. I set my distance, I set my shadow colour & light colour and when I apply the bevel it changes the face colour to a murky combination of the original vector colour/shadow colour & light colour. I do not want to change the face colour of the text in any way.

Jun 30, 2011I'm very new to corel and i just finished designing a poster but i need to add logos. the problem i'm having is that they're in jpeg and they have a white background. i need to remove the white background. i've tried the magic wand and then going to mask and invert. the problem with this is that i can still see quite a bit of white around the logo. An easier way or do i need to go in and clean up the edges in photo paint's cut out lab? i can do this but it just seems like a lot of work and i have to work with about 15 logos.

If you accidentally stretch text and don't realize it till later is it given a value that can be compared to other text so you can conform it to the rest of the text? Is this a tool or what? The scenario is you accidentally stretch text minutely, save the file, copy and paste this text to another file with same format to realize later it has been manipulated and doesn't match.

Apr 24, 2013In my CorelDraw X6 64bit (v16.3.0.1114) the Hue/Saturation/Lightness adjustment effect is not working on vector fills, but its fine on bitmaps in CorelDraw X6 and Photo Paint X6 as well.
It's not effective even after trying F8 reset.
Is there any solution to get its functionality back for vector fills also?

Aug 17, 2011I have multiple files open in Corel every day, and then, at the end of the day I have to run to get my lift (never at the same time!) and I would love a way to save all my files with just a click of a button.
I know Dreamweaver had this function - not sure if it still has, but I would love for Corel to have this so I don't have to scroll through all my open files and save them! If the file is not named it can pop up the save as box as usual and leave it open till the next day.
I have to save before I go, as we have very unreliable power and the UPS systems are not reliable either.

Oct 2, 2013So, I just switched over from Windows to Mac and decided to buy the CS2 Premium Suite. After finding out that the activation service was shut down, I downloaded all of the CS2 Premium Suite files from the Adobe website; however, none of them will run on my computer. Whenever I try to install the files, I get a message that reads, "Adobe CS2 can't be installed on this disk. Installation onto non HFS drive is not supported." Is there any way for me to get CS2 Premium Suite to run on my new Macbook, or am I going to have to spend more money on a different version for Mac? If so, which versions of the CS Suite work for the new Macbooks? Or, which versions of Photoshop work for the new Macbooks? Photoshop is my main priority.
