CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X4 :: Cutter / Plotter Software
Jun 25, 2009I know there are several high priced software solutions out there for the cutter. Is there a third party software that can take what is on the CorelDRAW Screen and sent it to the cutter with one click of the button. Something that does not open another program or that I have to import the design to. I want to simply click a button and start cutting.
what software you are using, How much you paid for it and what you like most about it. I am looking to increase production in the shop and if the design is all ready to cut, IE no overlapping lines, sized properly, etc. then why can we just send it to the cutters. Right no I have FlexiSign and hate the time it takes to Export, Import, Fix, then send to cut. The transition from a CorelDRAW file to that program drives me nuts and I just cant find a good filter to use that does not make me fix something that is just fine in CorelDRAW.

Oct 23, 2011I have a problem printing bitmap images on CorelDRAW documents in my work computer (Windows Vista Home Premium 32 Bit). I have a HP 3535 inkjet printer, and It was prinitng normally for some time, but one day the printer suddenly stopped printing images from the CorelDRAW documents and only prints text and vector images. The same happens in Photo-Paint, it simply prints in blank.
I Tried to restore the program to default settings using the F8 command with no luck. This really annoying and I need to print bitmaps for my work. This happens in all my documents...
CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X6 :: Color Management - Black All Raster When Printing On Laser Printer
May 16, 2012I have a problem with CorelDraw X6.
When printing 100% black on laser printer the Black is all in raster. Very strange because the same file printed from X4 /same PC and same printer/ is OK and is not in raster.
Probably the problem is somewere in X6.
I don't belive that the problem is in the color management because it's the same as my X5 and there all is OK too.

Oct 5, 2011New to Corel Draw. We just purchased a laser cutter to cut our stencils (we airbrush), but having a VERY hard time figuring out how to prep the vector images. We follow instructions, but it seems to always have a problem. We usually separate layers on photoshop and then trace on Corel so it can be a vector, but it doesn't seem to be working. What is the easiest, most simple way to turn an image into a vector so we can send it to the laser software??? Only doing black and white, one layer at a time.
Just need simple instructions, and most seem to be WAY too complicated or always have some complication. I have watched videos and read instructions, got close, but no cigar. Sometimes I think I have a vector, but when I send it to the laser software it doesn't detect it. I need simple instructions, Simple simple!
Can I make an image a vector without tracing it? Does it have to be a bitmap to be a vector? I can't turn images into curves because the option is gray (not available). If I select hairline it puts a hairline border around the image and I don't want it cut!

Jun 19, 2012when i cut vectors letters and numbers, its cuts but at every character it does not seem to completely fill the edges. so i always have to use my small nt cutter to do that.
i read the manuals, changed the offset, reduced the cut speed, increased the pressure and even convert to curves before i cut but the problem does not go away. the company where i bought it from is not very useful.
maybe because the machine is chinese i have a creation pcut ct630 vinyl cutter.also in coreldraw, i always use "harline" when cutitng anything is it correct?

Mar 7, 2011When trying to open an EPS file in Corel PHOTO-PAINT, an error appears indicating that "The file cannot be opened".
AND, when PP is trying (unsuccesfully) to load the file, it also convert it into CPT, instead of keeping the EPS format.
(Photoshop can open EPS files without any problem...)

Dec 7, 2011I have encountered a problem with the bevel effect of corel draw that I can't seem to resolve. I have a vector image and I convert to curves. Click on effects/bevel/soft edge bevel. I set my distance, I set my shadow colour & light colour and when I apply the bevel it changes the face colour to a murky combination of the original vector colour/shadow colour & light colour. I do not want to change the face colour of the text in any way.

Jun 30, 2011I'm very new to corel and i just finished designing a poster but i need to add logos. the problem i'm having is that they're in jpeg and they have a white background. i need to remove the white background. i've tried the magic wand and then going to mask and invert. the problem with this is that i can still see quite a bit of white around the logo. An easier way or do i need to go in and clean up the edges in photo paint's cut out lab? i can do this but it just seems like a lot of work and i have to work with about 15 logos.

Apr 5, 2013I have a new HP Laserjet M712 B&W printer to replace my aging HP 5000 printer. I'm using X3 & X5 and have installed the HP Universal Postscript driver. The printer is Postscript 3 emulation capable. I have all the settings in the print dialog of Corel the same as the settings from my HP5000 printer, but the new printer fails to print halftones or "dots". The halftone areas are still printing as a solid although I have my screen frequency at 45lpi. Is this a Corel issue or is it a Windows 7 problem, or some kind of user error.

I used to be able to select 2 separate printers and a PDF'ing option but all of a sudden they are missing?
The printers are connected via a network, are visible and usable in Windows and I can print to them from other software packages (word, outlook, etc).
I was away for a week and when I came back they were missing from Autocad (2011LT version 3).
The machine is a dell Precision T5500, Intel Xeon E5507, 4 GB RAM
