I have a picture of a bull rider that i would like to use in one of my next poster designs with the bull rider being the focus of the poster. I would like to use the entire picture as the layout for my poster. My question is..is it possible to fade out the background a bit without fading out the bull rider?
View 3 RepliesI'm very new to corel and i just finished designing a poster but i need to add logos. the problem i'm having is that they're in jpeg and they have a white background. i need to remove the white background. i've tried the magic wand and then going to mask and invert. the problem with this is that i can still see quite a bit of white around the logo. An easier way or do i need to go in and clean up the edges in photo paint's cut out lab? i can do this but it just seems like a lot of work and i have to work with about 15 logos.

AND, when PP is trying (unsuccesfully) to load the file, it also convert it into CPT, instead of keeping the EPS format.
(Photoshop can open EPS files without any problem...)

I have encountered a problem with the bevel effect of corel draw that I can't seem to resolve. I have a vector image and I convert to curves. Click on effects/bevel/soft edge bevel. I set my distance, I set my shadow colour & light colour and when I apply the bevel it changes the face colour to a murky combination of the original vector colour/shadow colour & light colour. I do not want to change the face colour of the text in any way.

If you accidentally stretch text and don't realize it till later is it given a value that can be compared to other text so you can conform it to the rest of the text? Is this a tool or what? The scenario is you accidentally stretch text minutely, save the file, copy and paste this text to another file with same format to realize later it has been manipulated and doesn't match.

After finding out that the activation service was shut down, I downloaded all of the CS2 Premium Suite files from the Adobe website; however, none of them will run on my computer. Whenever I try to install the files, I get a message that reads, "Adobe CS2 can't be installed on this disk. Installation onto non HFS drive is not supported." Is there any way for me to get CS2 Premium Suite to run on my new Macbook, or am I going to have to spend more money on a different version for Mac? If so, which versions of the CS Suite work for the new Macbooks? Or, which versions of Photoshop work for the new Macbooks? Photoshop is my main priority.

I just wanted to check a few things thou before we spend the money.
First of all is this upgrade possible or would we have to upgrade to CS2 then CS3?
Also CS3 Design Premium contains Flash and Dreamweaver. Will we get these 2 programs if we update? or will it just update the software we already have, as Flash and Dreamweaver aren't part of the original package we purchased.
CS3 Web Premium Suite on Vista 64? If so, do you have any problems with any of the programs?
I'm contemplating upgrading from Vista 32 to Vista 64.
I can buy this version. I'm currently a student at an evening school. During the day I'm working.

I'm trying to get the image (.swf) to fade nicely into the background color #960. On some computers it works quite well, on others you can see the line between the two very visibly. Is there anyway to get a better color match between the file and background?
I have a picture of a dog I am trying to print on my dtg printer, but when I import it there is a box around the dog. When I enable the white to print underneath the dog I get the box (which is all white, then the dog prints on top). How do I remove the box and just have the dogs picture?

There are 3 circles at left, one in is in middle (orange) with - sign and I can remove to dock - however, I still cannot open my files and work now. Then I have to force quit Photoshop just to get rid of white box.
