it seems to be a bit messy. I set it to F10 like in 2012 and the small popup box with the color picker doesnt seem to pop up proper. Something blinks on the top right corner and disappears. Same goes for colorbar. Any workaround or fix for this one?

what is still missing in smoke is having the color wheel while picking a color. The color wheel will enable us to pick any color straight from the wheel , it's much faster rather than trying to mix the desired color using RGB combination. it will be cool to see this feature in next release.
View 1 Replies View RelatedIf you're working with a lot of clips in a library and you're trying to select multiple thumbnails and ctrl +alt +drag to resize them, it's WAY too sensitive. It's like you need to click and drag in just the right spot or you're deselecting your group. It's taking me about 20 attempts to do this simple task.
Selecting the clips in the library appears to work better than ctrl + clicking them on the desktop.
I have the new Lion OSX. I have Lightroom 2.7. I am having issues with the colour picker. It will not leave the colour palette and let me select from the image. I have tried holding down my mouse key, but it won't leave the palette. This is in the adjustment brush..
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to add a small registered trademark to an existing logo. I have the front and the matte of the logo which I take in to paint. While in paint, I add the registered trademark using the text brush within the graphics option. However, I can't seem to get the matte of the trademark and the existing matte of the logo to show up when I view the matte it's either one or the other - not together. So when I render, I'm not getting both the original logo and the trademark rendered with both mattes. For now, I've just composited the two in Action so I can move forward with my work but I would like to know how to do this in paint.

The engineer installed sp2 but I realized that the system has still installed the sp1, has it something to do?, I have to uninstall sp1 and then install sp2?, I mean, have I to install the smoke again? In the company where I'm working with there are two smoke systems and I'm opening the backburner monitor and appears the two systems, is it good?, The error that that the system has is:

The overlay of free guide and working area in the viewer don't work. I can't see any of these overlay indicator in the viewer. Is this a bug or do i miss something ?
View 2 Replies View RelatedThis is a real problem with either storing media locally or generating proxies as smoke is bogged down creating all this unwanted media...
It seems to work (though not 0 correct) when you bring in an xml and smoke finds the media straight off the bat...but for any clips that don't link and you have to set a search location the specified handles get ignored and the whole clip is brought in...
This means that if you just want to unlink a sequence, consolidate and re-link to R3D media for example, all handles on all clips are ignored...
Why doesn't Selecting clips in the "Timing" view in CFX reveal which clip it is the Schematic? I realize there is a very small corresponding number, but a nice yellow surround would be nice.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI really like Smoke, I've tried pre-release and I've noticed there is no realtime playback. I have pretty fast machine, MBP, 17, 1920x1200, SSD, 16Gb Ram, 2.3 Ghz (early 2011), AMD 1GB, but still it seems too slow for Smoke?
optimize it for laptops, because 50% of users siting on laptops.
I have successfully finished 2 projects in Pre2, but today, Smoke started to crash when I forced it to save.
Stone&Wire is red, and won’t restart.

I have rebooted several times, but no luck. I’m not a programmer, but as far as I understand, the problem is on a framestore. Funny thing is, the last saved version is still available in Smoke, everything is in place, and it plays normally, just when it comes to saving or exporting, it crashes, or refuses to export.
Is it having problems debayering .r3d files at full quality? It works fine with all other quality settings but with full I just get digital noise.
The .r3d files are 5K from an Epic.
Doing a project in 5760 x 1080 (3xHD). And smoke does not import, crashes, leaving no reports. Just hangs.Upon a new project, and import, but when pushing the edit button for resize, crashes again. Hangs, no report...
Is Smoke capable of doing 3xHD projects?
THe auto key button doesn't seem to work in a gmask node in CFX. keyframe added even if autokey is off. bug?

Cause there is the 'wheel' for highlights, but as soon, as you turn it in one direction, you start to change the color.

In 2012 it was very easy to select a gap segment and click color source in the soft effects. In 2013 it appears to be much more difficult, you need to create it in a folder then edit it into a sequence. Am I missing something? I wish there was a color source option in the effects ribbon.

View 5 Replies View Relateda) is it possible to change the default font that gets activated for a project or sequence? Every time we add a title it defaults to "Discreet" - it would be good if it learns from past changes at least for the sequence.
b) it would be good if the default font color changes to a color that contrasts with the background when starting to type. E.g. we had a rather white scene, started typing and no text ever showed up. I then had to go back to the full text editor, change the color etc.
c) moving the color sliders in the color selector manually without a Wacom seems to slow by default. It takes forever to move to a brighter color. And using the picker is cumbersome (we do that as a work-around instead of moving the slider). The OK button for the color sliders is not very visible, sometimes leading to us clicking away without saving the newly selected color by accident.
I've noticed that when I drop a CC on a clip in the timeline with AutoKey turned off, if I adjust a paramater a keyframe is still added. But, if I enter the module, no keyframe is added. Also, if I enter the module and exit back out, no keyframe is added adjusting paramaters.
