I cant view my exporting job list . I want to cancel all my current export and make it fresh. My sequence is exporting again and again in same location with same file name. I need a support number in india.

I cant seem to find filter select or a list view for the record area. Both of these functions come in handy on feature films and episodic television especially vfx heavy shows.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to create a MP4 directly out of Smoke. Surprisingly, the colors are correct, but the scaling is not. MP4 scales the image a bit up, and I don't know why. Is there anything I have to change in the settings, so the mp4 is the correct size?
In the attachment, the first picture is the mp4 and the second is rgb uncopressed (which has the correct size).

I'm trying to export a sequence and apply a custom 3d lut to it. I can get into the LUT editor, but I can't seem to find the option of loading a 3d lut. Is this a missing feature?

My media hub jobs list is now always empty. If I submit a job, although the export fails. It does show up in the backburner web gui. Just not in the Smoke app.

I have tried exporting a video several times now and it simply won't. The first time the export got interrupted, then after that it processed the audio mixdown but none of the frames. At first it made files in the specified location that just wouldn't play, but the last few times no file was created.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm attempting to get Smoke 2012 SP1 running on Mac OS X 10.7.2. After installation, I cannot get the application to launch -- instead I get a "DlVideo Error: No video list" error and then exit.
Hardware specs are attached, in short 2 x 6 core Mac Pro, 24GB RAM, Quadro FX 4800 and Kona 3G. This is built on a clean install of 10.7.2 using the Apple video driver for the 4800. The display is an Eizo ColorEdge CG303W, attached to the 4800.
I would like to install the 4.1.28 CUDA drivers to enable the Mercury playback engine (as this machine will probably also run Premiere Pro), however I'm trying to keep it as simple as possible until I can get Smoke running.
A Euphonix MC Transport and MC Color will be added to the station, however they are not currently attached.
My workstation name is bc118-s001. I'm using an external license server (macnv3), which is running properly.
Storage is currently set to the local disk, which I know is sub-optimal. Ultimately the storage volume will be a fiber-attached TerraBlock 24D, however I'm upgrading that device from 4.6.4 to 5 before I put the unit into production, and would rather not store any data on it before the upgrade.

I have been learning smoke on various machines and different versions of the prereleases and service packs. I'm using SP2 now and II see older local projects listed in the media hub but they don't show up in the start-up screen listing of projects. how to regain access to these projects?

When I export a quicktime from colorbars (or any other clip) the levels are raised as opposed to exporting a targa or tif file. I tried it as uncompressed and png with the same result.

View 6 Replies View RelatedWhy not have a swipe option for the Record viewer on the right side in Thumbnail View and allow locking the source thumbnails to sync with each other - Flame style (just no Reel view). If this could be saved with the current folder view it would largely cover a toolset comment I made before plus another great way to edit quickly.
who said that for editing there should only be one source window ? Why not multiples ? In fact, isn't that a large part of editing in the first place ? Allow multiple selections in the thumbnail view and link the sources together, select a point in the timeline and go to town for checking your editorial options.
This is really about gaining a functionality that’s around in AVID and used extensively by editors I’m trying to get on board with considering smoke as a real alternative. The Reel Locking mechanism in Flame is a great tool that could be expanded upon massively and brought into smoke via synched/locked multiple selection in the thumbnail view.
And another - The ability to see an edit as thumbnail view that can be re-arranged so you can group shots per your own liking but still allows drag and drop FX. This would allow another view on an edit that is incredibly powerful for many functions but color correction an obvious one. If you could save these 'views' you could have a fantastic basis for management.
I was wondering if there was an easy way to view individual color channels (Red, Green, Blue) in the viewer, and if so what the shortcuts are. I know you can do this simply in flame but can't seem to find a way to do it in Smoke.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen you're in source-sequence mode and push "f15" key (that is "player view mode" shortcut) several times, you can switch between different view modes. One in particular kept my attention: you can output a video frame with 3840x1080 resolution (double full hd), composed by primary output (on the left) and secondary output (on the right).
The strange thing is that these two video streams (primary and secondary) are not in sync: in fact secondary one is always delayed by one frame.
What is the purpose of this view mode? Is it possible to sync primary and secondary output in this particular mode? It would be great, because this way we could finally output stereoscopic 3D in side-by-side mode!
