This is something that I have noticed on various systems (flame, flint, smoke). For some reason the Undo function doesnt work inside Sapphire Sparks.

Is there any way to connect (Expression Link) a tracker data from Action or 2dTransfom to parameters inside of Spark plugin? I want to find a way to make usable a tracker in Sparks.
View 1 Replies View RelatedIs it just me or has undo gone the way of the dodo in the stabilizer module? Please can it be resurrected. It is incredibly useful for when a track goes wrong and you just want to try a different tracking point. As it stands I now have to go back into the animation channel, select shift, select delete, delete keyframes and then retrack.

I noticed in paint the other day there wasn't a reset all etc button or an undo redo button, now Im in the action node and don't see it either.

To be clear, if I organize my clips into bins for an edit, I'm hoping to hit match on a cut sequence and the Smoke will take me to that clip in the media panel, and then I would be able to look through alternate takes of the same shot. It's more useful to me for finding similar sources than making a copy of the source which is already in the timeline.
Can't seem to find a EDL or XML import function - aren't that in the pre release ?

Why does a selection release after UNDO function? Older versions didn't used to. It's annoying to have to re-select after each time you undo.

1. If I have a layered Photoshop file or png with an alpha channel (a still frame lower third), I see that I can import it as a multi layered clip, but what is the best way to have it in the sequence to show up properly?
2. If I have a QuickTime in animation format or Pro Res4444 format with an embedded alpha, how can I import that file to show and cut it on a top layer to animate above my video?

In Combustion, you would draw a selection and then apply an operator above the selection to achieve this. I don't see a similar selection tool function in Smoke, but I imagine you could achieve the same effect by duplicating a layer and using a Gmask via the Wipe timeline FX.does Smoke not have a selection tool similar to Combustion?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI think it'd be so cool to be able to replay your entire undo history of a picture, so you can see and show others how you proceeded on a picture you made. That way, it's never necessary to capture screen video for like 10 hours and stuff..
So first you'd need to add an option to save the undo history (so that you always keep the history from when you started). Then you'd need an option to playback the undo history.
I'm working on a magazine cover design for a school project, and I was wondering if it was possible to edit a picture like this and make sparks come from the tip?

I have a problem understanding how undo marks are added to the undo stack.In the code below a fan of lines are draw in a random location.If you run MTest a few times, the AutoCAD Undo command will remove the fans one at a time.
If you run MMulti to draw 10 fans, the AutoCAD Undo command will remove all the fans in a single step.I want to be able to remove the fans one at a time.I thought that a StartTransaction / Commit pair would act as markers for the undo stack, but this isn't working.

That was one of my favorite effects in GIMP. Can do it just fine using Portable Gimp and 'use color from gradient'. But in GIMP 2.8.2 -- that's been taken away and we've been left with a confusing new Gradient system . Do NOT like it so far at all. Haven't figured out how to change the color of the sparks brush on it, let alone use it in any practical way.
Any way to be able to use this new version of the Gradient system and be able to change the color of the sparks brush?
i have seen this tutorial which tells you how to create sparks between wires.
i have a wires graphic ready to go but i have photoshop 7 whereas the tutorial is aimed at 5.5. i cant seem to get this effect to work. for instance in step 2 Dan says:
