AutoCad :: Plotting - Borders Shown / Texts Incomplete
Sep 28, 2011I have a problem in plotting. In layout, the whole drawing and text were shown, but in my output (printed drawing) the texts are incomplete.

AutoCAD Civil 3D :: Incomplete Corridor Surface
Mar 2, 2012I have one corridor with several baselines. I have asked it to generate a corridor surface but it has left out several baselines from the surface. I have ruled out assemblies. I am not sure what is going on. I am also unable to get feature lines from this portion of corridor as well. The corridor builds just fine and I can see what the daylight lines are etc. What's going on. Yes I have audited the drawing.

Feb 14, 2013I am trying to produce a section view of a vessel. Inventor makes the section just fine except it is incomplete. See images below:
In the past when I have encountered this issue I would simply locate the part in the browser, Right click on it + Section Participation + section. That usually solves the issue. This time it is not working.
AutoCAD Civil 3D :: Incomplete Corridor Feature Lines
Jun 14, 2010I am using the Mill&Overlay sub set to overlay an semetrical road and a crown offset of zero. I one file the crown point feature line has gaps in it and in another file it zig zags along the road.
I forgot to mention that the triangles and the cross section look as expected. trouble is I want the crown profile

AutoCad :: Invalid Or Incomplete DXF Input Error Message
Jun 11, 2013"Unknown value "AC1027" encountered in drawing version.Invalid or incomplete DXF input -- drawing discarded. Press Enter to continue." (then the file disappears)
MY workflow:I am opening up DXF files created by me with RASPLOT 2.5 and RASPLOT 3.0 (an Army Corp of Engineers Hyrdraulic model extraction program) I bring the DXFs into AutoCAD for better cleanup of the 2D graph it creates of flood profiles.
OBSERVATIONS:Others in my office have opened the same engineering models in RASPLOT and been able to bring DXFs into AutoCAD 2011/2012 in with no problem. It had worked for me in the past, but I can't recall what happened to all of a sudden make it not work, EVER. My co-workers can work with the RASPLOT DXFs in Windows XP and Windows 7.
ATTEMPTED SOLUTIONS:-I upgraded my RASPLOT version first from 2.5 to 3.0, then upgraded my AutoCAD2011 to 2012. No change.
-If I create the DXF on my computer, then open it remotely from another computer's AutoCAD, I still get the same error message. (My only solution has been to create my DXF by remotely logging into another computer with RASPLOT then it will open in my computer's AutoCAD.)
- I tried changing the .dxf file path to .dwg but that doesn't work.

Aug 10, 2009I received the drawings with comments from consultant.The cad drawings are infected with stamps.I was ordered to use such drawing to update the routing of the services.When I use DXFOUT to change it to the DXF version 2000.I can't open it the dxf drawing.the error like below when i tried to open the dxf:

what can i do now?

Jun 9, 2011I get the above error message when i try to open a DXF file which was exported from LSS. The survey data from TPS seems to export fine, but the GPS data won't open.
I've read the previous posts on this error messages, but most seem to be relevant to autocad 2007. However tried the remedy suggested (through MS word) but that didn't work.
AutoCAD Inventor :: Incomplete Part Update When Sketch Pattern Count Changes?
Mar 18, 2012The attached part, created in Inventor 2012, has a formula for the number of occurances in a sketch pattern based on its length. When this number changes due to a length change, some parts of the sketch do not reposition and Inventor does not indicate that an update is required. The part can be fixed by dragging the affected geometry or performing a rebuild all. The following image shows the result when the length changes from 300 to 500.

Feb 26, 2013I'm attempting to plot a drawing with a 3d shape and a title block around it. I would like for the occluded lines to not be drawn therefore I'm using the hidden visual style and set shade plot to hidden as well.
My problem arises from the quality of the plot to PDF versus the quality coming out of a printer. It is just a 8.5x11 page. The pdf comes out with horrible anti-aliasing and jagged lines, whereas the print is entirely smooth. Is there something simple I'm missing? It would be even better to find a way to make the plot to PDF come out in vector format! I know it is possible to show the layers and have them vectorized in a PDF... How is this done?

Dec 20, 2011The Publish to PDF option in the Sheetset Manager which I believe is using the native/built-in AutoCAD 2012 PDF driver is creating PDF's with incomplete and inconsistent graphical content. See attached PDF examples wherein the PDF "...(CONTENT GOOD)" created via CutePDF Writer contains the desired output...
Note both PDFs were plotted with essentially the same plot settings, driver excepted...

Sep 11, 2013I have received a drawing from an external source where there appears to be duplicates of various texts.
If I check the properties of the texts individually it appears the text is say P14, if I select both texts and list properties the result is varies. I have never seen this before and I would like to know how to get both texts to be the same.

In the CS3 family I only have Photoshop. I have the CS2 Suite and Lightroom 1.3.1 installed. Do I need to reinstall PS or LR to get the update?

Jun 18, 2012I found a solution to my objects being rendered incomplete by adjusting the perspective angle by a degree or two but this didn't solve my problem of the graphic map being incomplete.
Basically I'm making labels for different sized bottles (i.e. wine, beer and sake)the wine worked so far but for some reason this sake bottle's label wouldn't complete rendering.I dunno if it is because the side of the bottle is slightly angled or what but I cannot get it to complete the image map.

Nov 29, 2005The goal is to prepare maps of a water supply network. The pipes are polylines with parameters on OD Tabels.On Display Manager, i'm creating a style based on text in order to display the diameter of each pipe.So far so good. The problem is to find out how to place the text entities in a more intuitive position, that is, near the middle point of the polyline, with the correct angle.
On the "Position" and "Rotation" properties of the text style, what should i define in order tho achieve this? The ".labelpt, .Center, .X1Y1..." options do not produce the desired results.

Sure, in the AutoCAD, I can force the text to have the same x-coordinate to align them or other kind of work around, but why we don’t have this as a command like what we have in the ArcGIS?

I have just installed Photoshop CS6 (hope I'm not going to live to regret this), apart from the problems with installing plugins, when I open a file the image is incomplete with anything up to 25% of the image missing. If I create a duplicate background copy the problem is resolved. This is not satisfactory on software of this nature.

Sep 30, 2013I am not the most technically savvy lady so I might have made this issue worse.
After I first installed the Creative Cloud and downloaded Photoshop, I attempted to open the program and it said "file is incomplete or damaged".
I tried deleting it out of the applications in the side folder to re-install thinking it would get rid of it but the tab is still there.How do I delete Photoshop to re-install? Is that possible?

For example, suppose that particular texts have the T1 as text style. Then why if we change the value of “paper text height” of the T1 then the texts (that belong to this style) don’t respond?
At the same time, this behavior is valid pertaining the dimension style, i.e, if we change the text height of the dimension style then the dimension text responds and is changed!

AutoCAD LT :: Changing Text Style On All Texts In Drawing
May 22, 2012As Topic explains, just realized ( to my embarrasment ) that I have just done every text in an entire drawing with text style "standard" instead of our own "ETR".
There is no difference in font/height/width or anything, reason I need to change it is because we need to send our drawing to our client in .dwg format and he will then copy everything we've done on the drawing and import it into his own drawing. Problem is if he doesn't use the same font as standard style as we do our text might be dislocated in some places.
Problem is many of my texts are attributes within blocks and they need to change too. Any quick and smart way to change every text and attribute on the drawing, nested or not to another textstyle?

Jun 12, 2012I wan't to export a DWG-file with texts to a sqllite database to be used i MapGuide. The export is successfull but I can't get the rotation of texts to work properly - all the texts are horizontally aligned and not rotated. For example, the ROTATION field of a text in the sqllite database has the value 4.8376865658545531 - in the DWG the rotation property is 192.0233g - but when using the ROTATION field as the value for Rotation in the style label it isn't being rotated.
