AutoCad :: PDF Resolution - Numbers Hard To Read
Feb 2, 2012I'm using 2011. I made a pdf of an excel file, attached it to my drawing. Then I made a pdf of the drawing, and the pdf is coming out really poopy (numbers hard to read).

Oct 14, 2012I use an external hard drive for my Lightroom images. When I travel I take that external (plus a second identical one for back-up) with me and use my laptop. When I return home, I use that external to view and edit my images on my desktop. Suddenly about 350 images show up as missing or offline when I view that external drive on my desktop. Nothing is seen as offline or missing. What can have happened? I use the same external, the same catalog and do not understand why the images are seen only on one computer and not the other. I am an Apple user but can't see what difference that would make.

Example -

Missing numbers are - 4,8,9,13,14,15,16
I would like a subroutine to take the List_DN are return the following missing numbers as text

AutoCAD Inventor :: Balloon Numbers Don't Match BOM Item Numbers
Feb 20, 2012I am trying to link my parts list to a drawing however all balloons have different numbers.
I open the assembly and check everything out from vault I open my bom and change item numbers. When I get back to my drawing and apply for auto balloon I get completely different item numbers in my balloons. We just updated our software to a new 2012 version so it's maybe something with set up.

Photoshop :: Making Low Resolution Image Look Higher Resolution For Print
Mar 17, 2013I realize the nature of my question maybe asking the impossible, but I have a low res image I downloaded from the internet, placed in an InDesign page, blew it up and printed it out. I was going for the distressed look that it has, it looks ok when I print it out considering it's low res and I blew it up fairly large. However, it's a little too pixelated to look professional when printed. Are they any tricks or things I can do to make it look higher res for print. I've attached the image as well as a screenshot of the InDesign file so you can see it in context.

AutoCAD Inventor :: Numbers On A Diameter
Jan 5, 2014Curious, I am trying to get numbers 'engraved' (extruded) into a diameter of a dial ring. I was able to create a couple of planes to create the marking lines around the OD, but am unsure how to add numbers and extrude said numbers (in the easiest fashion possible). I need to go from 0 to 90 on the longest marking that starts at 0° and is every 36°.
Also, that being said, with the little I tried and was unhappy with, I created a text box at the 0° marker but the text was in the wrong rotation the marker and rotation box was greyed out. How can I resolve this...or is it even related?

AutoCAD Inventor :: Part Numbers Not In BOM
Aug 29, 2013I have an assembly made of three parts. There is ilogic in place to rearrange these parts in the assembly. The part numbers change depending on how the puts are arranged and there length. The part numbers come up fine in the assembly ( i have a window popping up to show them). However when i open the BOM the separate parts are listed but not with there part number just with there file name.

Aug 23, 2013We use tags on lines labeled L1, L2 etc... for roads and pipelines (for legal/right of way purposes). We may have multiple lines to describe (differernt section/land owner) and need to start back at L1.
Is there a way to automatically start back at L1 rather than it starting at a higher number and having to reset the number one at a time? Get's quite tedious when you have multiple lines needing number with say lay 20-30 segments.

Oct 15, 2013There a few dodgy things goign on with my BOM.
I imported a BOM style from another drawing that worked fine, but when I edited the names of teh columns it broke everything again.
THere's a few thigns wrong.
There's no item numbers.
It says the QTY is incompatible units????
And there's teh funny table like icon with an arrow pointing to it with my parts highlighted blue. What does this mean?
Again, everything was fine until I changed the names of the columns and changing the naems back doens't fix it.

Feb 26, 2013I just had an internal request for this and I had to look it up. So I'll share what I found and have a place to find it myself next time.
One way to do it is to select a COGO point to bring up the COGO Point Contextual menu tab. In COGO Point Tools you can select List Available Point Numbers.
AutoCAD 2010 :: Formatting Numbers In 2012?
Jan 9, 2013I am currently making a pattern of numbers. These numbers are going to be serial numbers on some parts that are to be cut by a waterjet. There are 1000 parts so I want to automate this process. I have made a pattern of text so that the text is placed correctly. Also i have used TCOUNT to automate the numbers, so that the pattern of numbers is now 1 2 3 4, etc (positioned correctly). The problem is that the serial numbers should have the format 00000 (5 digits), so: 00001, 00002 etc. Is it any way to make numbers appear this way? If i try write it like this in TCOUNT it automatically changes it to standard numbers.
