View 5 Replies View RelatedIn plantation design, especially for ground covers that spread across an area, I have to distinguish each plant by hatch pattern. so they're hatched(due to the twisting shapes, with oh so much pain), and the problem comes in when counting area of each plant. Mind there are altogether hundreds of hatch objects to be counted and sorted into dozens of plant types.
I had counted on data exporting, but then i find that hundreds of hatches simply don't have the area attribute. not a surprise, since hatching process was already problematic enough with the borders.
So I figured the quickest way would be to identify those without this attribute and try to fix up their borders. but you can't identify them from a data table, not without the handle number. you can't quickselect by absent attributes either. I'm completed at a dead end now.
I know there's the manual way.. but do I really have to spot those hundreds and process their borders one by one?
here's part of the problematic plan: some of the faulty hatch is colored red, but there are many more hidden in plain sight.
any tutorial to transform a brush of water, in "water authentic"? Color, brightness, etc .........

I have looked at the PnPProjectFolder object but am unable to determine how to create a new project folder.
I do not understand how I obtain a folderGUID or the best way to discover if the folder exists. (I can loop through the ProjectItems collection).
We need to add 30 folders, including sub-folders, setting their paths as we are not using virtual folders.
I am not at a stage where I have any code worth publishing here.

I want to make a fountain that has water jets that cause ripples when they hit the water. I have tried the basic reactor water and Pflow setup, as well as super spray, but neither seem to work. Is there any way to accomplish this without "faking" it by doing something creative with the water's texture?

When I apply pathdeform modifier to a single object with defined curved spline, there's no problem with the animation.But when I attach multiple objects to form single polygon the deformation path messes up.Objects astray from their initial positions before attaching.
I have a client that wants to put in a constant flow into an inlet and have SSA calculate the HGL downstream of that (as well as add additional flows at additional inlets). Is there a way to do this? I tried adding an "Initial flow" to a pipe but after running the analysis, that flow wasn't the peak of the pipe (I used 1cfs for the initial flow and the peak was 0.77 cfs).

I have one section that has a known flow of 1.31 cfs. The results for this pipe section shows 28.82 cfs (peak flow during analysis) and 6.06 cfs (design flow capacity). The pipe section is a 15" with constructed slope of 0.0088 ft/ft. The max velocity attained is 23.48 ft/sec. I know that the downstream is undersized. Could this flow rate be caused by the downstream backflows? The model is setup as hydrodynamic and rational method. My inertial terms are set at ignore, time step = 0, junction surface area = 0 and variable time step with safety factor 75%. I have gutter bypass flows and my sag structures have ponded area set at 100.

The 10 year storm peak flow going into the inlet is 3.91 cfs and my flow in the link to the outfall is 10.55 cfs. I do not understand why it is increasing going into the pipe. Ideally, I would like to add an arrow to the pipe showing the flow direction in the sewer. i know I can use the annotation template to label the inverts, but is there a way to automate the process to add the direction arrow?
