Had previously done the verification code thing and got the code and have been sending pics by photo email.Have got PS10 loaded to my Desk Top - main system and also my laptop .When trying now to send pics on my DeskTop I can get to the (maybe second) screen where you choose the size of the phots and then I get the Verification Code screen - which tells me that an 'initial verification code' will be emailed to the chosen email - but when I say continue, I go to the next screen of the Photo email and then when trying to send the phto email it locks up and says an unexpected error has taken place ...
I have sent some photos via the laptop but it seems to be very hit and miss at the moment.Also I have some problems opening PSE10 - When I click on the icon - I get the initial "organise or edit" screen where I choose organise - but then all that happens is this screen closes and the Organiser does not open. Most of the time I'm left with maybe shutting down my whole computer and starting up again and it works again.

Aug 24, 2012I'm working with some files that must be saved as .ai files and then emailed. I linked a photo, gave it a drop shadow and saved the file. The original file without the photo was about 1.5 mb. The size of the photo is about 2 mb. After I linked the file and then saved it, my .ai file was 21 mb which is too large to email. Why is the file size so large, especially when the picture is not embedded?

Jan 14, 2014I'm having a problem with PSE 11 saving my files in a size too large for transmission by email even when I use the "low" quality option. I have to send files for commerical ads for review to clients via email and even set at "low" for an 8.5 x 11 page the size of the file is 25mg as opposed to 33.7 for "high". The jpg file set a high quality is only 4mg. Is there an issue with the PDF format on PSE 11 (didn't have this problem until I upgraded)?

Mar 5, 2013DWG to PDF is not printing certain files correctly. It appears to only happen with the dots hatch pattern and the Dots linetype with a 0.0003" lineweight in the CTB file. The lines with the issue have color and pline width (zero). Print preview show, plotting to a printer, and using adobe show the lineweight correctly but using DWG to PDF does not.

I have just DWG TrueView 2014, not autoCaD. I wouldn't like open those with TrueView and plotting with mouse one by one.
I would like give a command in C# or VBA or just in cmd(command prompt), and get that the computer print my files sequentially, without any question.

Mar 21, 2013I have a Makerbot Replicator 3d printer for my class. I am having issues when I save my drawing as an stl file bring it up in the Makerware software it decreases the size and I can't get things to scale. I have been in contact with Makerbot for several months and their response is now: "We actually may have had a bit of a breakthrough! Apparently there's something off about the way that Inventor exports files to .stl, and there may be a bug in our software when scaling. Whenever exporting to .stl, especially in metric apparently, Inventor makes the object 10% of the size. To correct for this, can you try scaling your model by 1000%, then exporting to .stl and bringing it into MakerWare? Send me a copy of the .stl either way, and let me know how it goes!" and "The issue is not something we can fix because it's not an issue in MakerWare.

Jun 14, 2012We just upgraded our old DJ4000 to a T2300 and are having a devil of a time getting the PC3 files to work. We have about 40 CAD users and the PC3s are all on a shared network location.

We tried using the 5500 and 4020 drivers but they did not work for us.
It looks like we are now faced with deploying 30+ PC3s to 40+ computers. What a HUGE pain in the you-know-what that will be. All of the PMP will have to be repathed.
What was HP thinking? That the T2300 -- or, if the above-referenced thread is accurate, ANY of their plotters -- are not suitable for use in companies that have more than one or two users?
AutoCAD Print / Plot :: PC3 Files Not Working Properly / The Plotter Configuration Cannot Be Found
Nov 8, 2012In the process of releasing 2013 to the office. We have about 60 machines being loaded, varying from 64-bit Win 7, 32-bit Win 7 and 32-bit Win XP. I have gone through and created new PC3 files for our two KIP printers (3000 & 7000 series). I added one custom page size to each to create a PMP that goes along with them. These files have been placed onto a network folder for all users to access. This is where my confusion begins.
When other users go to utilize these files it is giving an error stating that "the plotter configuration cannot be found, driver cannot be found, device cannot be found, yada yada. The none has been substituted."
So we began to look at the PC3 files and see what the issues are. When the same file on the Server is copied down to a local machine it changes back to a KIP10 driver down from a KIP11 driver on the network. Make Sense?
In order to fix I began running the "Add-A-Plotter Wizard" on the local machine. Created a new PC3 wiih a different name and went back into the program. Now the PC3's that did not work before WORK.
In short, since the 2013 version has a new file format do we have to run the "Add-A-Plotter Wizard" on all local machines before the standard PC3 file will work effectively? Or does having 2011 version still on the machines have an effect on these files?

AutoCAD Print / Plot :: Add Information To Page Setup Override Plotted Files?
Jun 16, 2011I use Sheet Set Manager to create and output sheets. Typically I will setup the pages to 24x36 and set to output to our HP.
If I want to output to 11x17 pdf, I use a page setup override and it works fine.
What I would like to be able to do is add a watermark -- using transparent text -- that says "Not to Scale" across the print when I use the page setup override.

Sep 29, 2000If I import an Arcview shape file into Autocad Map, why can't i plot it out from Paper Space??? I can plot out shape file data in Model Space but not Paper Space. The data is mapped to a layer, and it can be viewed in "Print Preview" but nothing comes out when i plot from paper space.

Before we were able to print a pdf file on Mac, even if we weren't connected to the Raw files. It was enought to click on "brouillon" in french, what is draft I think in english I think. But now with lightroom 4, I can't do it anymore. Is it another way to do it ?
It was really usefull while you were traveling, you didn't have to plug you hard drive, and it was plenty enough to show to my client.And also it was way faster, and I didn't have to travel with all my HD files.

May 18, 2011I had received a DWG file from my associate through e-mail which she had saved from AutoCAD as a 2007 year format.
I have AutoCAD Architecture 2011 and should be able to open any DWG file, correct? But I can't seem to. When I try to open it, a message pops up that says, "Drawing file is not valid". I have gone into the file properties and I have full accessibility to the file and the "read only" option is unchecked.

When I generate a drawing file at home and send it to my client’s computer via email the drawing appearance changes. It appears as though the .dwg file is corrupt in some manner. My dimensions are not in order the font has changed in scale and in type. Most of the text is just inadvertently scattered about.

I'm trying to get there by declaring Fontsize, then .Body.Fontsize = 16, but that isn't working. Any link to a page that would give me the correct format to change font size for this? I'd also like to get the table lines around the drawing/Part Number, but that isn't critical.
Photoshop :: CS4 Refusing To Print 2 Specific Files?
Nov 15, 2013I'm using Photoshop CS4 and I have 2 files that refuse to print. Every time I try to print them I get the error "Before you can perform printer-related tasks such as page setup or printing a document, you need to install a printer." Photoshop WILL print other files or new files no problem but will always produce this error when I try to print these 2 files.
It is not a problem with printer drivers, or a problem with which printer is set as default as evident but the fact that every other program on the computer can print just fine and photoshop itself has no problem printing other pictures.

Jun 24, 2013How can I print mulitple different .ai files onto one page in Illustrator CS6? I have all of the files organized by Arrange Documents>Tile All in Grid and I would like to print the files in this format so that they can all be seen at once when printed out onto one page.
Some background is that I have 16 different cad drawings that I have converted and edited in illustrator. I'd like to basically make a contact sheet with all 16 drawings so that they can be reviewed on one sheet of paper after printing. But each drawing is in it's own unique file, and I have not figured out how to put them all onto one page for printing.
Illustrator :: Print RGB Files Since They Are Closer To What Is On Screen?
Feb 13, 2014I have an important question about how to set up my files for print. In school I was taught to work in CMYK or at least convert whatever RGB file I'm working on to CMYK. I'm at work now and the files I am printing are coming out dull (in CMYK). I converted a file to RGB and assigned the RGB 1998 colour space and re printed it. The first CMYK print looked grey and was not vibrant. The new RGB print printed very vibrant and matched the screen colours better than the CMYK. My boss wants me to do the rest of the prints in RGB seeing as it prints with better vibrancy. Also, I am working in Illustrator.
So my question is: Can I convert all my CMYK files to RGB, send them to the printing company and expect the prints to be vibrant? Or will converting my CMYK files to RGB mess up the printing companies standards?
RGB prints better, but I was taught to always print in CMYK mode.
Actually I'm going to leave the files in CMYK since turning them into RGB may cause colour loss during the final large prints. I will print the presentation files in RGB though.
