I changed my aperture size but for some reason it didn't take. it is still small. Even if I go back into options it shows the larger size but doesn't take affect. Of by the way the Autosnap marker size got larger.
View 4 RepliesThe aperture size cannot be modified using the sider under options. Workaround seems to be to use the system variable “pickbox”. Occasionally it seems to also display as a rectangle instead of a square, obvious when variable is set below 10 (however, this seems to be one of those intermittent problems / might be a stand-alone graphics problem).
I've got SP1 installed.
Is there a way to change the leader arrowhead size without changing the dimension arrow/tick size?

The Arrow head size didn't change corresponding to the scale, i included the pic below, the top picture, the arrow head was set at .18" but was really small when i plot out, so i wanted to make it bigger, when i changed to .50" or .75" or even 1" the arrow head became even smaller than .18". Only when .18" than the arrow side is legible

I create a text box and paste in the info into it. Now I want to resize the box to fit the space available but the handles end up changing the font size. I need the software to change the auto line feeds as the box's size is changed.
View 6 Replies View RelatedMy aperture / crosshairs seems to have a magnetic attraction to all objects in drawings. Over an empty area, motion is smooth. When crossing over any object(s), be they in Model Space or a Layout, the cursor is attracted to objects. Is this an AutoCAD setting that I'm not aware of, or is this a graphics card / hardware acceleration issue?

View 1 Replies View Relatedi am trying to reduce the sensitivity of osnaps by changing the aperture. However, no matter how big or small I make the setting, my snaps are still way too sensitive. I can move my crosshairs across a whole line that's 48 inches long and I can only snap to an endpoint or midpoint (I want to just snap somewhere along the line). I have tuned on the option that shows the aperture, and it's definitely changing astetically, however the behavior of osnaps have not changed

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am able to edit a photo in Elements 12 but if it is a raw photo it opens in camera raw. On these .nef files, when I save them, (comand-S) it still brings up the save as box. If I click file-save, same thing. I can not get these particular pictures to save over to my aperture library, which is still in the iphoto library if that matters.
I do have PSE Preferences as Save over current file, always save, file extension use lower case, (save as to Original Folder is checked as well.) When I edit from a jpeg in aperture, it seems to work fine, it is just the .nef files which is what most of my files are.
In Aperture my preferences are External editor, Photoshop Elements 12, Tiff 8 (I have tried PSD as well) and Adobe RGB Color. It seems like this worked in Elements 11, but maybe I hadn't tried a raw file, so I am not sure.Also, is Tiff 8 the best or is PSD better. Do they both save as layers?

I am having issues with text size when I attempt to change the text size in MTEXT. It is set to copy the last size I used but when I need to edit the size, it multiplies what I enter by 8 and turns inches into feet. In other words, I try to resize 6" to 3". The text editor will then multiply 3" x 8 and size the text to 24 feet.

Our teacher left us with a problem and I can't really understand this. I'm reading through the book and there's basically little to no "how to do" or examples I can follow. We have to do a 2D drawing. It's a Flathead cap screw - 3/8 - 16 UNC 2A x 2.0 lg 1.0 grip
So far I know that 3/8(.375") is the major diameter, 16 is the threads per inch, 2A is the average with external thread, and 2.0 is the length. I pretty much don't know how to put it into a drawing..
I have one layout (see attachment) if I will print this layout on A2 paper its text size is clear but, problem is that I need to add more level points so result there is no more place to put more data(levels) so i want to reduced this all text with block in small size then i will get more space to put new additional levels how can i reduced size if i will go one by one it will take time after redce i will print on A1

I go into dimension style manager, I click on modify and I click on the text tab but the text height and fraction height scale is greyed out!
If I click on "new" dimension style the only option I get is to base it off my current dimension style with the text size greyed out again.
How to change the text size of dimensions if at the option is greyed out?
