View 4 RepliesI created a card with a colored panel and a white background. I then typed my name along the junction of the panel and background and as I typed the top half of the letters were the panel color and the bottom half of the letters was white.
View 13 Replies View RelatedI am fairly new to Photoshop and am using CS2. When I use a web header with white letters on a red background, it appears that the red has bled into the white letters. It doesn't make any difference in I save the file as a gif or jpeg. This takes place even when the file is saved at 100% quality.
View 1 Replies View RelatedFor some strange reason, there is green in my white letters. I dont know why?
If you see the white letters on the orange button on the attached picture, for some reason there is green in the white?
For a gif or png file, is there anyway I can get rid of the white outlines they get around them when I display them on web pages?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm starting off with a transparent BG, I'm saving the file as a png, and I'm writing in only #FFFFFF white with a drop shadow. I can see it on preview, but when I use color paper, the letters turn out transparent with the slight outline provided by the drop shadow. I can get any other color I want, but why isn't white showing up and how can I generate it?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI need to create white letters on a transparent background, but don't know how. You can't see white letters on a white background, and if I set the layer to invisible I can't see the letters either.
View 4 Replies View RelatedAny way to turn off the ghost text that appears when you select text that is annotative, not get rid of it just not show all of the other scales for clarity.
View 6 Replies View RelatedBesides the background layer with a 'B/W image' I created a layer to add some colour. When I use the eraser in that layer, a white haze appears. I've never experienced such a thing in over 15 years of Photoshop use.
Normal, coverage 100%. In the image below clearly to be seen the eraser stroke from left to right. The white haze best to be seen at the darker part.
When a pdf is taken from illustrator, white lines appears on images. How can be avoided it?

Yesterday, I took a number of experimental shots (a red phone cord lying on a white background). The white background (an artists white canvas lying on the floor) was well lit from above using 5600K lights.
The shots were all taken using auto focus, auto exposure, etc and in the view finder everything appeared to be correct, but on later viewing the photos, the white background appears to be grey.
I have attached a sample image to show the grey colour.
especially when using the auto mode when taking the photos.
I am not concerned about the picture quality only the grey background and I did not undertake a WB as I thought that this was part of the auto mode when taking the photo. the shot was taken by half pressing the shutter release butto to ensure that everything was OK then continuing to fully press the button.
PNG with transparent background that appears white when uploaded on the web. This is how I do the PNG : Once I have the image with the transparent background with the white and grey checks, I go to save for web and devices, putting PNG 24 at preset and the bar under it, transparency checked, and then save. When I preview the image, the background is transparent. Also when I open the image with Windows image viewer, the image also has the transparent background. However, when I upload the image to the website, the background turns white.
I'm using CS4. I put here a link to the psd file in case. URL.... and the image URL...
Just loaded cs5 onto a second computer legally. Any tiff or raw file brought into cs5 appears as a grey and white checker board image. From there its gets even crazier. CS5 works fine on the first computer. both loaded from the same legal disk.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI am using Corel for driving a fiber laser through a dedicated Net connection not available to the rest of the network and it and my computer are right next to the switch.
My problem is that when I send a job from the PC to the laser it works fine. If I make a small change on the graphics, I save it and send a new job to the laser. Quite often, some part of my grapics is left off the plot even though I didn't touch that graphic or mod it. So I send the job over again and now somewhere else is missing some of the graphic word...usually a word or a letter or number. I usually turn off the computer or get out of Corel and come back in and it is fixed. That doesn't sound like a network dropped or corrupted graphic. I have tried turning off the laser with Corel still up and it doesn't fix the problem when I bring the laser on line again.
Every time I open my Photoshop CS3 program a blank white box appears with heading 'Adobe Web Suite Premium CS3'. There are 3 circles at left, one in is in middle (orange) with - sign and I can remove to dock - however, I still cannot open my files and work now. Then I have to force quit Photoshop just to get rid of white box.

View 14 Replies View RelatedI ran some rendereings using revit 2013 , and windows 8 . But everytime I render a view I get a horizontal white area in the background that looks like a white fence.
I attached a rendered view ( draft quality) and a realistic view . you can see the white area in the background in both images.
A thin white border around the figure that I had edited appeared out of nowhere. I was able to erase it before editing the background but now I can't erase it or remember how I did that.
how to get rid of this line? If by setting the eraser color to the background color, how do I do that? As I get rid of the line, I'd also like to refine the figure's outline so it becomes cleaner.
For printing or mailing purpose, i used to re-open big .psb layer files (2-6GB) in cs5 and cs6 with keybombo "alt" and "shift" while double clicking the document in the finder window (10.6 + 10.7.5), in order to save time.
This is not possible anymore, everytime i open a document this way its white and empty in photoshop.
I am a student, when at school my drawing looks perfect. When I get home my text looks like it has been enlarged. I have checked all the sizes and have annotative turned off. I assume this has to be some setting that I have selected on my home computer but I can't find anything.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMore and more often I come across exhibits where the text has a background mask shaped like the letters and numbers, used in the callout. Typically I see this in GIS software based exhibits. Looking for text that can be used in CAD that functions similiarly? Currently working in 2011 Civil 3d.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm having this strange issue with the Photoshop type tool in Photoshop CS5. It might be, although I'm not sure, a bug. The tool itself is working and lets me add text and edit. But the box that shows up when editing text (and the blinking line that shows where I am in the text) - has gone invisible. I am having this issue in only one document. - I tested the type tool on other documents, and everything was normal. I've looked up shotcuts and hotkeys to check if I've tapped a key or something, but it doesn't appear to be so.
Now about the document; it does have quite the amount of text layers, and a lot of text in them. I've tried resetting the type tool, and I've restarted the program.
When I restart the program, the tool works as it's supposed to - but after editing or adding a new text layer, the editing area is gone again! Is this a bug, or have I touched keys that do odd things?
new user to GIMP. Trying to add text, but when I type - instead of the letters appearing in the text box, the shortcut keys are being used instead.
For example:
If I type "R", instead of "R" appearing, the Rectangle Select Tool is selected
If I type "M", instead of "M" appearing, the Move Tool is selected
This has only started today, hasn't been a problem before now. Just wondering if I've accidentally turned on a feature?
I have Inventor professional 2011 & AutoCAD 2011.Both these programs are showing the same error. This is only affecting one PC out of 20 installed with the software
The text beneath the icons at the top of the screen appear as empty rectangular boxes. It would appear to be unable to render the character (as if it was a foriegn language set)
The PC language is set to UK English as is the keyboard.
I am using autocad 2008 and I used the function that allows you to hide objects such as hatching or lines under text. When I delete the text, I expected the invisible box to delete with it. Sadly this is not the case. I am not able to click or highlight the invisible box. How to remove said boxes?
View 7 Replies View RelatedI've copied and pasted sections from old drawings into new ones, and it seems to have completely messed up some fundamental aspects of my AutoCad.
After I pasted I received some error message which I didn't understand. I think it said something about a "Language" problem, (Needless to say I clicked the nice big "OK" button without any thought). Now, every time I open CAD there are these square symbols where there should be text
I am running CAD from my company computer, so can't use the add/remove programmes repair trick. How I can reset all/relevant settings within CAD to get things back to normal?
I'm running the 2010 model.
when working in my current drawing (Model Space), i create a new mtext item, and it shows in bold, i am aware of the common problem of the text items having a z height other than 0.00 causing this, but i have checked, and reset the z height, have also tried the flatten command, and even tried explode and then flatten/z height.
