AutoCad 3D :: How To Give Beveled Profile Around Top And Bottom In Model
Nov 28, 2012
I am trying to model . How to give the beveled profile around the top and bottom. In the attachment I have made the shape that I want to subtract from the nut but it will not let me do it.
I am trying to learn what has been done to the top photo to give the look of the bottom photo.Black suit looks navy, but not too much of the original photo is different. White seems brighter and blue seems bluer.
I tried using colour match in photoshop but it didn't look the same.
I feel as though there is a shortcut for this problem. In this simple 3D model, I need to "cut" out the excess volume from the bottom of my 3D model. The thickness at all walls needs to be 1mm. Is there a simple solution to "vaccum" the extra space out from the bottom? The top shows the compartments.. but the problem is the excess space underneath.
I have a series of sheets, each with two viewports to show two plan views of a long road alignment. I arranged them to read bottom to top, as it goes up stationing, as we do with cross section sheets, but have been told by an outside reviewer that the sheets are confusing and should read top down.
I'm trying to model a tunnel network and I have come across a problem . The problem is best described with an example:
A sort of tunnel - or shaft - has to be blasted in order to make an access between the ground surface and a certain parking cavern. This access will be an escalator and the tunnel will be blasted in a 30 degree angle to the horizontal level. Normally when I design tunnel cross sections (CS) the contractor will blast the designed CS perpendicular to the designed profile.
I drew the tunnel CS with sub assembly composer and created an assembly in civil. I then made an alignment and a profile according to our design. And here is the actual dilemma: Civil draws the assemblies so that the assemblies are vertical and what I need is them to be drawn / modeled perpendicular to the designed profile. Is there a way to do this?
I will attach a .pdf and a .dwg of a surface profile along the alignment created (and tidied up) with civil 3d, in which I have tried to illustrate the problem in case my description isn't clear enough!
I am trying to model a column to a curved profile as shown in my sketch. I have opened the structural Column family and imported the curve profile i require it to follow om my required work plane and tried to model a sweep but i'm having problems...
The Sweep will not follow the line of the profile and the column is offset.
If you look where it is blue and there is the 4 cubes beside the pixelbrick logo the background blue has strokes or lines that looked beveled out of the solid blue.
I am laying out a portrait collage with four openings for photos. Is there an established way to apply a frame to each that has the appearance of a beveled mat?
Are the beveled edges on this auto generated somehow via filter or whatever--or did someone actually go into illustrator or something and manuall draw these edges?
I have created a snow scene and added a wide black background.
I have been trying without any luck to add a bevelled edge to the background where it meets the photo. The idea is to make the black background look like a card frame around the photo. I think the bevelled edge would be referred to as a pillow bevel with chisel corners.
when using the bevel and emboss tool in the layer style menu, to make a sharp inner corner? I was working on creating a frame using hard chisel bevel - it makes the outside of the frame have a sharp corner, but the inside is rounded. See sample image at: URL....
i created a text with the bevel option, then export it as OBJ but every time i try to open it in photoshop it crashes, what i want is to manipulate this text in after effects.
I have this compound path (green in the print screens below) which I would like to apply a bevel effect on.
It seems as if the compound path is fine but when I apply the bevel effect, the result is as image 2. How can I solve this so that all of the beveled effect is smoothly and unite instead of rectangles popping out etc... ?
I tried to apply a transparency to a beveled rectangle and was unsuccessful to get any effect to apply. Tried to make the bevel first and then apply transparency and vice-versa, a transparent rectagle and tried to do bevel effect. Neither way would work.
Don't they play nice together, or do I have to try it in PP?
when i try to create a beveled tamil language font in maya 2013 sp2 ,it appears as question mark ,is there any way to ,even i changed my windowws 7 display language and key board language to tamil , i inserted the pic
How to give “no color” for the boundary of the layout?
I wanted to give the boundary of the lay out “no color” or “white” such that it disappears as the drawing is printed out but couldn’t figure out how to achieve it.
Also, I’m not sure if there are some other styles for the boundary of the lay out
I have a code which I want to rotate a part. I have a text parameter 6 and 7. If one of the values is active I want to give the component a certain rotation.
Under the 'Hoekkoppeling' parameter is the angle constraint.
Below the
If Parameter ("KlemHoekstuk-01: 1", "KoppelingType") = 7 Then Hoekkoppeling = 60 deg ElseIf Parameter ("KlemHoekstuk-01: 1", "KoppelingType") = 6 Then Angle = -60 deg End If
I now get always an error on the second and fourth line.
I feel that the specify for the value is incorrectly.
how to get the area under geometry in properties to give me sqft? It used to give me sqin and sqft and now (in one particular drawing) it will only show up as a sqin number. It doesn't seem to matter what I measure in this drawing...including new geometry that I add to it. (I tried drawing a rectangle in this drawing to see if my new geometry would give me a sqft number)
In the attachment you can find a drawing of a roundabout.
why the give way road markings are much more and much smaller in my viewport? Also I can't see the letters A, B, and C in my viewport. Why is that and how can I fix this two things?
