View 2 RepliesI am trying to import thousands of pictures into Lightroom as I have a mess of pictures do to a long story...But basically I have probably 30,000 pictures in a bunch of folders that I want to import.
One issue I have found is that I don't want to import TIFF, BMP, GIF, or things like PNG. I really only want jpg files or jpeg files unless I stumble across others in another format I haven't found yet.
Can I set something during the import? I have searched the forums and internet, but haven't found anything that mentions this.
How to clean up a mess like this where I have 30,000 pictures but probably only need 10,000 as there are duplicates upon duplicates due to having to move the pictures around in a hurry as I had a mess in my basement during a storm a couple years ago.
I am having a problem with a delay in selecting an object and selecting a command.
When I select an object the pointer has at least a 3 second delay before it starts moving around normally again. It is the same with selecting a command. This has started to get tedious. It has worked fine in the past so I don't think it is a RAM/graphics card problem.
im trying to create line types using the MKLTYPE command , im creating the text and the lines and the text in paperspace and im using annotative text (2mm height fixed) . ie: dashed line 100mm "WA" and another 100mm of dashed line (--------WA---------) , I Need this line in any scale to act the same.
Ive tried many times but the text size is bigger then 2mm and the lines override the text.
Started freezing when selecting a layout tab. Other programs respond but not C3D. Seems to be this one drawing - pretty simple, about 1000 pnts, and a surface so far. When I select the layout tab it switches and I see a few contours but C3D does not respond. First time I have exp this.

Since upgrading to AutoCAD Architecture 2013 I've noticed that the sequence in which I type my commands no long works. I used to be able to highlight various items and then type in the command I want to apply to these items - i.e. Mirror, Erase, Scale, etc. But now with 2013 I will select the items, then type in the command, and the it asks me to again select the items I wish to apply the command to. What settings I need to change in order to fix this?
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy AutoCAD Map 2014 still allows me to select objects and then type the command to, for example, delete the items. I was able to do it in my Civil3d but it seems something was toggled so that I'm no longer able to. Now if I select items, once I select a command, it essentially unselects the objects or doesn't recognize that they are selected.
View 2 Replies View RelatedBack in Acad2002 when I selected a command (line, for example) the crosshairs would lose the pickbox around them and I could precisely pick the area I want with no obstruction. I see in 2012, that following those same steps, leaves the pickbox around the crosshairs and thus makes it obtrusive to precisely pick exactly what I want. Is there a system variable to make that pickbox disappear while I am making my selection?

View 4 Replies View RelatedIs it at all possible to switch between layout tabs by a command? I'm messing around with a .bat file that creates a script for printing that only prints layout1.
The CAD file I'm trying to print has multiple tabs and all tabs have a different name, Lot 02, Lot 03, Lot 04 (not the standard layout1, layout2, etc).
Im using A.cad Mech 13 I'm having a problem with the base view command on the layout tab,I have a 3D object in model space I then click the base view command, select my object and select display in layout 1, I then select my views top, side and Isometric when I hit enter to confirm all views disappear leaving my template empty.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI need to have users plot to DWF from paper space so they cancustomize all the layers colors etc, on that specific paper space tab. I then am mixing this with FDO data generated out of Model space. Unfortunately, when using the EXPORTLAYOUT command, the data is coped into Model space but seems to retain it's paper space coordinates. I had hoped this function would behave like CHSPACE and copy everything from paper to model space in the same scale.

AVCHD (1920X1080P)

Since I am dealing now with HD movies, what is the difference between those types, so I am not sure what should I choose.

I am trying to load CR2 files from a Conon 600D to elements 7. Each time I try I get the message 'Nothing was imported, files did not contain any supported file types'. I imagine this is something to do with ACR. I have looked at some discussions here and as a result downloaded ACR 5.4, but I still get the same error message.

The options menu has to be hidden somewhere because AutoCad will not allow any other commands after typing options until I hit escape. I have tried restarting CAD and rebooting my computer with not luck.

I have floorplans from a building with a total of 80 appartments. Now i want to plot PDFs in A3 format, each page with 1 appartment. That would be 80 pages/PDF-files.
The way i did it up to now was i have put all A3 pages in a single layout and used the Window-function in the Plot dialog to print each page individually, manually numbering the file-names, and combining files in Acrobat as needed.
But doing this for 80 pages is too much - especially because i will likely have to plot it more often in the future. As far as i can see, i could make 80 layouts and use the Publish function, make a sheet-list and plot that way.
I keep wondering - is there not a more efficient solution to this problem than creating 80 layouts? There must be a more intelligent solution to this. Whats the preferred way of doing this?
P.S. i use AutoCAD2007 and Acrobat for plotting.
Dwg files are not displayed on the “choose lay out” dialogue box,

View 5 Replies View RelatedOK, today, or actually just this afternoon I've noticed it has become much harder to select items with the mouse.
Points, nodes, etc...anything where you'd typically hover the mouse over the item and it highlights for you to select it.
For example, lets say you want to project a point from another sketch, or select the center node of a line, etc.
Never really had an issue until this afternoon where now it seems I have to be right on top of the item and I cannot budge one bit or it won't select it. It is now taking me numerous attempts to select things like points (zooming in does not work, points scale accordingly).
Is there a setting somewhere? I can't seem to find such under Tools>Application Options and the like.
Is there a way to export multiple layout tabs to create individual CAD files at one time? I have a CAD file with 80 layout tabs. All the Drafting work was done on Paper Space of the Layout Tabs. Client wants 80 separate CAD files.
I tried right clicking on the layout tab but it will ONLY allow me to export one tab at a time.

When applying the lens profile for CR2 images, Lightroom displays in extensive list of lens models to choose from. The list for CR2 images includes the Canon 18-200 IS lens that I use. However when developing a JPeg only image, the lens model list only displays about 20 canon lens models - which unfortunately doesn't include the Canon 18-200 IS lens. enable selecting the full list for jpeg only files?
View 5 Replies View RelatedWith Autocad 2013 we have found an unconsistant problem with overwriting PDF files with same name. This only happens with publish command (ie, can just plot 1 layout to pdf and overwrite no problem). The funny thing is, it doesn't happen all the time - just 50% of the files (and yes, the file is not in use when attempting to overwrite).
