I am trying to load CR2 files from a Conon 600D to elements 7. Each time I try I get the message 'Nothing was imported, files did not contain any supported file types'. I imagine this is something to do with ACR. I have looked at some discussions here and as a result downloaded ACR 5.4, but I still get the same error message.
View 4 RepliesI recently upgraded to Photoshop Elements 11 and seem to have lost the ability to work with NEF files. Everytime I try to "get files" from my computer in eithr the Organizer or Editor I get the error message thht this type of file is not supported. What's up? Where do I go?
View 11 Replies View RelatedI had some success transferring geometries, generated with an advanced math software, to Inventor using IGES files containing Manifold Solid B-Rep Object Entities (Type 186) (see the specification IGES5-3_forDownload-1.pdf). Now I would like to include several Type 186 entities into a single IGES file and form the geometrical unit of these (and them), for which the IGES Boolean Tree Entity (Type 180) seems to exist. I'll do some trial-and-error testing, but it would be very useful to have a (reliable) list of all IGES entities the Inventor IGES import function does or does not support (like these: Transcendata, MoldflowInsight). Unfortunately I could not find such a list anywhere.
Another question: Are the IGES import/export functions of Inventor written by Autodesk (and/)or are third-party libraries used? If the latter, which ones?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am trying to import thousands of pictures into Lightroom as I have a mess of pictures do to a long story...But basically I have probably 30,000 pictures in a bunch of folders that I want to import.
One issue I have found is that I don't want to import TIFF, BMP, GIF, or things like PNG. I really only want jpg files or jpeg files unless I stumble across others in another format I haven't found yet.
Can I set something during the import? I have searched the forums and internet, but haven't found anything that mentions this.
How to clean up a mess like this where I have 30,000 pictures but probably only need 10,000 as there are duplicates upon duplicates due to having to move the pictures around in a hurry as I had a mess in my basement during a storm a couple years ago.
I added Keywords to many jpg files when I should have added them to their scanned source files (tifs). Is there an efficient way to copy them from the jpg versions to their tif “originals?” Except for their suffixes, they are identically named.

I'm using Photoshop Elements 10 Organizer with Premiere Elements10 Installed. I have a number of files of type MTS which I understand to be AVCHD and are imported from my Panasonic Lumix TZ20 camera which captures HD video. These files will not play in the Organizer, resulting in a message stating the required Codec is missing. However, when the same file is sent to Premiere Elements for Editingand agreeing to a message to have Premiere set the correct properties for the media type it plays perfectly. What am I do wrong? Are there any settings I need to change to have Organizer also play the file successfully?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a large library and one day i wanted to make sure that none of the files were corupt so I thought of an idea to export my entire library to see if i get a notification if any of my files didn't export. I could then check on those files to see whats wrong. But trying to export that many images caused lightroom to crash so I exported by year instead. Some years were fine, but others like 2011 for example, out of 13906 images, only 9824 exported. I would be ok with that if lightroom notified me which images didn't export. Normaly, when i try to export images that are ofline, lightroom will tell me which ones didn't export and say that they can't be found. How am i supposed to find those 4000 images that didn't export if i don't know what there file names are? I tried exporting the previews as a catalog and all 13906 exported fine. I updated my dng previews and I even genereated new standard sized previews as well. I also ckecked for missing images under Library/Find Missing Photos, and there were none missing.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI just imported a .csv file in Civil 3D 2014. I did so by going to the insert tab and going points from a file. I selected my file and choose the PNEZD (comma delimited ) and the point showed up. The only issue there is the point number is showing below the elevations but I am assuming that has something to do with the style settings. My real issue is when I created a 3D polyline and went to the nod I wanted to create a line from the Z coordinate was 0. Did I import the .csv file incorrectly?
When I go to the point group in prospector the point elevation is shown but when I put my curser over a point the northing and easting are correct but there is still no Z point.

With Photoshop CS 6 the desktop does not recognize me and allows me to assign the correspondence file. For example, if I double click on a .psd file nothing happens. If I reconnect the program Photoshop to psd file manually, does not recognize it (as if I had not made the selection). While Adobe Photoshop CS6 Bridge point for each matching file, the associates, but when I do a Bridge by double-clicking it, I go into Photoshop without opening the file.
This means that I can no longer be Indesign edit a file with a simple click, but I have to go find the file at all times and I can only find it in Photoshop with a huge waste of time!
I have installed Photoshop CS2 as a part of the Video Production Suite. I am having difficulty associating my image file types to PS CS2. Windows defaults to its image viewer and will not change in the Folder Options in Windows. How can I do this within Photoshop? When I installed from the DVDs I was not presented with the File Association Window, as the the Help file indicates.

BUT! If I open autocad file by double click - autocad opened. Now I saw my toolbar, saw my message from Initialize!But any commands didn't work. Autocad said that command is unknown. What can be a problem? My be in Autocad version? I have student version and startup message about it.
I have been using Photoshop Elements for quite some time without any problems. Suddenly it appears the feature to change letter types is not responding. The last type I used seems to be stuck and I can not change to any other type. The window with the different letter types flashes up momentarely, but doe not open to be used. Uninstall / install die not solve the problem.
