View 3 RepliesThe GX7 is scheduled to come out at the end of September, and it sounds like MFT is finally getting it just right. I have several Panasonic and Pansonic/Leica lenses I use with the GF1 and have ordered the GX7, but when will I be able to work on its RAW files in LR and ACR? How long does it take to get a camera into an RC version?
View 1 Replies View RelatedAll my RAW files taken with Lumix G1 are fine but the RAW files from my new camera (Lunix G5) won't open.Looking at help in E10, it says ACR is version 6.7.0.339..Elements 10 is version 10.0 (20110831.m.17215).

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am trying to load CR2 files from a Conon 600D to elements 7. Each time I try I get the message 'Nothing was imported, files did not contain any supported file types'. I imagine this is something to do with ACR. I have looked at some discussions here and as a result downloaded ACR 5.4, but I still get the same error message.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI started to get problems with Lightroom not recognizing RAW files from my Fuji XE-1 and Canon 5D Mark 3 cameras but I thought it was a problem with RC. After downloading some files today in 4.4 without a problem I encountered the same error message (unable to inport listed RAW files) again. The files open fine in Bridge.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have been evalutating LR4 and am stuck on how to import my files from another DAM into LR4.
I am able to write XMP into JPG files, and provide sidecar XMP files for RAW (CR2) and MOV/MP4/MTS files, writing my hierarchical keyword information into the xmp-dc:Subject and xmp-lr:HierarchicalSubject fields.
LR4 seems to read the XMP keywords from the JPG and RAW files just fine and re-creates my keyword hierarchy.
LR4 seems to ignore on import the XMP for the non-image files such as the MOV/MP4/MTS files for which I have provided sidecar files.
LR4 also does not write out XMP files for the non-image files, when I use save Medatada.
Does LR4 just ignore import/writing XMP for these non-image files?
Bought Elements 4 in 2007 for my previous Power Mac and now just upgraded to a Macbook Pro and the program won't install . Get the message that this version no longer supported for new the Intel Chip Macs. I know the version is old but worked perfectly well for my purposes.
So do I just chuck that money away and fork out for another prologize? What is the next version?
I downloaded all of the updates that I thought were necessary to be able to edit D600 raw files but they are still coming up as "Preview unavailable for this file" and saying it's not supported.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI am using Photoshop Elements 11, using WIndows 7 Operating System. I have a new camera Canon Rebel T5i, and having problem viewing images in raw format (cr2).Message in PE11, states, "Camera model not supported by installed version of Camera raw."
Canon software views images. Suspect my minimum camera raw plug in version does not support this new camera..I am unable to locate in the software any menu item that allows me to view the camera raw plug in version.
I'm new to these forums and still coming up to speed with Lightroom (love it so far!). I recently purchased a Lumix ZS25 and there isn't a profile in Lightroom for Panasonic cameras. I did see several Leica profiles (my camera has a Leica lens). Just wondering if you skip lens correction if your profile isn't offered, or what are the specs to create a custom lens correction for my model.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI was led to believe that GPU acceleration features (like smooth zoom and rotate) were supported in the PS CS4 Standard edition. Under GPU Settings, Performance Preferences, it states "No GPU options available with Photoshop Standard". To me this is misleading advertising - I would have considered the Extended version if I had known.
Maybe this will help others not make the same disappointing assumption I have. I think Adobe should make this clear in the future. It really does make me feel slighted.
