Bought Elements 4 in 2007 for my previous Power Mac and now just upgraded to a Macbook Pro and the program won't install . Get the message that this version no longer supported for new the Intel Chip Macs. I know the version is old but worked perfectly well for my purposes.

So do I just chuck that money away and fork out for another prologize? What is the next version?
I am thinking of getting a new laptop that uses the Intel 4500hmd video processor. This uses shared memory, but the laptop would come with 4GB RAM and run with the Vista 64 bit OS. The latest Intel driver claims the 4500 has open GL 2.0. Has anyone on the forum used the Intel 4500HMD successfuly with Photoshop CS4.Â

Canon software views images. Suspect my minimum camera raw plug in version does not support this new camera..I am unable to locate in the software any menu item that allows me to view the camera raw plug in version.
Just recently I tried to open my Photoshop CS2 and received a message saying cannot open no longer supported by PowerPC. What does this mean? Is this version officially defunct? If so what can I do so I won't have to buy Creative Suite again.

I've installed Illustrator 10. Fine. It recognised the lack of Classic environment and installed. It runs ok. But Photoshop 7. It installed as per above. But when it attempts to load it hangs with the error, "An unexpected and unrecoverable problem has occurred because of a program error. Photoshop will now exit."

I have an iMac dual core Intel 3.O with 4 gigs of ram. SnowLeopard 10.6.8
I get the 'can't open the app because PowerPC apps are no longer supported. I went to support and ran the script that was recommended. And I confirmed that com.apple.LaunchServices.plist is no longer in my pref file.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI use Lightroom 4 on two Macs and try to keep them in sync. I keep my Lightroom data in my Box sync folder so that it syncs with the Box servers, and between the Macs. That way I, in theory, have the same data on both machines and backed up in the cloud.

The trouble is, the same data doesn't appear on both Macs. I've tried navigating to different Lighroom catologs and backups, but don't seem to be able to find the right files. how catologs work and how to find the most recent file.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy scroll wheel no longer works after installing Lightroom 4.4. In all previous versions, I was able to use my Logitech scroll device to adjust the sliders in the development panel. In the 4.4 version, the scroll wheel no longer works and instead of adjusting an individual slider, it scrolls the whole development panel up and down. I did uninstall the mouse driver and reinstalled but that did not work. The mouse works just fine in all other programs. I think it is a bug with the 4.4 version. I am operating in Windows 7.

I have a Powermac G4 1.7G desktop, Powerbook G4 1.5Ghz, Powermac quad G5. Both have PHotoshop Elements 2.0 installed (over OS X) & have been running fine last few years.
All of a sudden, on all 3 Macs I get a startup error..& Photoshop quits
"An unexpected & unrecoverable error has occurred. Photoshop will now quit"
The startup gets as far as "reading preferences", then I get the above message.
I delted the Photoshop Preferences fils in Library for my Desktop G4 1.7Ghz, but to no avail.

The project is 16x9 and video is 4x3 which I have left-centered [so there is a black "stripe" to the right of the video image] As she talks about certain events, I will have .JPG photos show on overlay tracks 2 & 3 in this "black stripe" area
I desire to make the "black stripe" are match the wall behind Mom so project looks more Professional
Question: How can I create a color chip that matches the background painted wall. All I can think of is to create a screen capture, open that is PAINT, and read-off the color coordinates.
Note: My only Corel product is VSPro.
