The text on photoshop is no longer working on my version, well it is but its tiny even if the size is englarged?
I know this is probably a daft question but I havent changed any settings at all and this happens?
I've been using PS7 for a few years and have never had this problem. All of a sudden, when I try to type text it's not showing up on the screen. I can see the text I've typed in the Layers palette but not on the page. I've rebooted and have no viruses. I'm running Win XP Pro if that info is needed. I have a feeling I've accidentally hit a command button or something that's caused this.

View 1 Replies View RelatedBought Elements 4 in 2007 for my previous Power Mac and now just upgraded to a Macbook Pro and the program won't install . Get the message that this version no longer supported for new the Intel Chip Macs. I know the version is old but worked perfectly well for my purposes.
So do I just chuck that money away and fork out for another prologize? What is the next version?
My photoshop CS education version has been working great. Now, today it comes up partially but won't fully function. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it twice to no avail.

View 2 Replies View Relatedi am on a Mac, running the first version of Photoshop CS...i kept getting windows about my scratch disks being full, so our IT guy showed me how to go into the preferences and select the scartch disks...ever since then some of the quick key commands no longer work...
for example, holding down the space bar to get the hand to move the screen no longer works, holding down the space bar and the apple (command key) to get the maginfying glass doesn't work, and when i go to transform something, i used to be able to hold down the shift key to maintain the proportions of the object i was transforming, that also no longer works...
I am having problems with the keyboard for adjusting the brush size (for eraser/clone stamp/brush etc) I used to use the ][ keys for this but they no longer work, i've tried just about every combination under the sun using the shift, command or alt keys but nothing seems to work.
I am constantly shifting the size of the brush up and down as I work so if I have to go and click on the brush tab every time and type in a new size it's going to make work incredibly slow. I live in spain and the mac keyboard is a spanish one but I have tried with my old keyboard that used to work fine on the old mac but not on the new one?
My scroll wheel no longer works after installing Lightroom 4.4. In all previous versions, I was able to use my Logitech scroll device to adjust the sliders in the development panel. In the 4.4 version, the scroll wheel no longer works and instead of adjusting an individual slider, it scrolls the whole development panel up and down. I did uninstall the mouse driver and reinstalled but that did not work. The mouse works just fine in all other programs. I think it is a bug with the 4.4 version. I am operating in Windows 7.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have just installed Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Standard on my new MacBook Pro. I have activated it. However when i start Version Cue CS3 and check for updates i get the message "No Internet connection. Please check your Internet settings and /or firewall. Waiting for connection...". I have turned off my firewall and the antivirus program and I still cannot get it to work.
I also cannot start Photoshop CS3. When I open the application a blank window titled "Adobe Design Suit Standard CS3" appears as well as Photoshop toolbars which I cannot select. All the options on the toolbar is greyed out and I cannot select any of them. I have to force quit the application.
I use the save as version very often as I work on images. But lately I have found that it is not available and is Grey'd out in the File Menu.
I cannot understand why this should be! And if I check the Save As Copy box, as we all know, this doesn't work.
I'm running the latest version of Photoshop CS 9.0.2 or something like that (downloaded the update the other day).
I just got the new Canon 70D and I went to photoshop to edit my picture (I just got the cloud version today) and it won't open my files... I went to the help files and does not even support my camera.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI can't open my cloud version of PS CS6, I had a box asking me whether I wanted to supply Adobe with feedback or something, I closed the box and ever since PS keeps crashing. It tries to load but as soon as the interface is loaded a blank white box appears and then I get the spinning wheel of death and am forced to quit.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI just loaded Elements 11 onto my windows 11 laptop and imported about 15,000 photos. I was really looking forward to using the face recognition for tagging the photos but it does not seem to work. When I click "Mark Face" it always says people analysis is yet to be run and when I click yes to run it, nothing happens. Same thing when I click "Add People+", it just flashing something quickly on the screen and then nothing happens. I have "People Recognition" checked in the view screen and "Analyze Photos for people" checked in my preferences.

Until about four days ago when I made edits to the the source TOC the articles would signal that an update was available. They no longer do this. And Yes the link to the text shows up in the links panel. The source file name has not changed and the location is the same.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am running the 32 bit trial of X6 and the transparent vignette bitmap effect no longer works. I have converted the bitmap to CMYK transparent and back to not transparent several times in CorelDraw X6 and it still does not work. I have event tried making the bitmap an RGB transparent background and it still does not work.
Then when I click "Edit Bitmap..." it DOES open as a bitmap with a transparent background but the vignette function in Photo-Paint X6 does not work with the transparency either. It forces a background color. There is no longer an easy way to fade the edges of a photo.

even on gigantic images I seem to get this error EVERY TIME NOW! it doesn't matter what image and I DO NOT know what this 'input texture' that the error is talking about! there is NO option for an input texture!

I try to use it to duplicate an empty circle with a coloured path while scaling it down (with the intention of using Ctrl D to continue the progression). The shortcut simple resizes the path without duplicating it.

After installing ACAD 2013 as a trail this now seems to be the behaviour, only found it when GETENV calls started to fail. This has also affected previous versions installed on the same workstations.
My Lightroom 3 has just stopped working. It was version 3.6 and when I went to use it yesterday it just shutdown on me and threw me back to my desktop. I removed it and reinstalled it but the same thing happens.
