View 3 Repliesi have windows 7 home premium and when i open photoshop cs6 extended it said "photoshop has detected graphics software that is not supported" and when i use the text tool the text is very small and i have done all the fixes for the small text problem and nothing has happened and i don't have access to the 3d part?
View 1 Replies View RelatedCurrently I am running PhotoShop extended CS5, 64bit. in which i have my fovorite plugins (Topaz, Nik and OneOne) running perfectly.
Â
I have upgraded to Adobe Creative Cloud and installed PhotoShop extended CS6 using Adobe Application Manager as recommended. It didn't ask me if I wanted to upgrade or do a new install for PhotoShop. So now I CS6 running with no Plug-ins. I need my plugins! LOL.
Â
I tried pointing to additional plugins in the CS6 preference to the CS5 plugin folder. Upon Launch it gave me a whole slew of error messages saying something cant load or launch C+ runtime error or what not. It does open up, but it only gives access to Nik and Topaz. OnOne doesn't show up under filters or extensions.
Â
So, what are my options?
Â
Just copy the plugins from CS5 to CS6?
Â
I dont't want to reinstall all the plugins to CS6 if I don't have to as I've auto updated them over time to current versions online, so only have installation files for my original purchases.
I'm happy with the NX version, but if I want to upgrade to XT, how do I do it? I looked on the upgrade options for XT and upgrading from NX, is not there.
View 8 Replies View Relateddownload elements 11, but it's not supported. I don't want lightroom...I'm not really sure what my options are- I'm looking for something as recent to elements 11 as i can...
View 1 Replies View RelatedI was led to believe that GPU acceleration features (like smooth zoom and rotate) were supported in the PS CS4 Standard edition. Under GPU Settings, Performance Preferences, it states "No GPU options available with Photoshop Standard". To me this is misleading advertising - I would have considered the Extended version if I had known.
Maybe this will help others not make the same disappointing assumption I have. I think Adobe should make this clear in the future. It really does make me feel slighted.
My iMac has 256mb of VRAM. Where can I download a version of Photoshop CS6 that has the lower VRAM requirements?

Â
What can I do to work on the much more beautiful Retina screen? For new files moving forward, should I be setting up my documents at twice the resolution or size?

I'm using Photoshop Extended CS6. I'm printing to either an Epson Stylus Pro 9900 or an Epson SP4900. In the print dialog, I get a warning I haven't seen in a long time. It says the setting "No Color Management" at the printer is not supported. This is patently false. I am given a link to download the Adobe Color Print Utility (which gives abominable results; I know this from repeated uses in the past), and a service note saying this issue is for Photoshop CS5. Clearly there is a problem, possibly a bug.
Â
I have never had CS5 installed on this machine. I do have PS CS5.5 and PS CS6 on this machine (I have used all versions of CS in various suites from the start of the product line). Of course "no printer management on printer/Photoshop manages color" works..
I have recently updated my Mac to version 10.7.5 and now Photoshop Elements 4 will not open. I uninstalled and reinstalled and it shows message
"You can't open the application HFSTest because PowerPC applications are no longer supported" so I can get no further.
Having paid for this software and used it on my Mac previous version, I want to open and use it now.
