I'm having trouble creating a map book where north is rotated in the view. I've tried using ucsfollow, and the ucs command to rotate the map correctly, but when I try to create the map book the map doesn't show up in the main viewport.
How to rotate the map when creating a map book?
Every time I insert a north arrow it needs to be scaled up afterwards. Normally, scaling up by the same factor as the viewport that I select is about right.

When I create layouts using the "All layouts in the current drawing" option, the north arrow does not align to the viewport rotation.
But when I use "Number of layouts..." and "All layouts in one..." options, the north arrow block aligns correctly.
This is probably very easy, but I cant figure it out. Whenever I try to type text on the spine of my lightroom book, Lightroom puts it horizontally. I like to rotate the text on the spine of my book by 90 degrees so that it reads from top to bottom, like on any normal book. How do I do that?
By the way, when I start a new book, the spine text appears correctly by default (rotated by 90 degrees). In my existing book, the text cursor appears only for horizontal flow however, despite using the same design template. Is this a bug or did I accidently change the orientation of the text?
I have a text file of several surveyed ponts throughout my model. I can select one of these points in my model and specify the coordinates of East/West, North/South, and elevation from this file, but how do I determine the angle from project north to true north from these surveyed points?

In the North view all of the level lines and the walls i have created appear, but the walls don't show up in any of the other views. Also the North, West, and South views show all of the level lines but the East view does not.

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen creating text in model space it appears both mirrored and rotated 90 degrees to the horizontal. However, when I create text in paper space it is fine. I have tried looking at the properties for the text but although I can find a place to rotate the text back to the horizontal it is still mirrored and therefore unreadable.
When I copy paste stuff from one document to another this also occurs.
Cannot recognize the "Error Creating Map Book" message. It gives no error number just asks if you want to retry. This has been a problem in at least the last three releases.

I am trying to create a photo book for Christmas and have started working with a company other than Shutterfly because of page design offerings ? Can I upload an entire album to that company? I have tried and I am having difficulty. Do these photos need to be uploaded to that company in folders or must I upload individually or can I do the entire album at once? View 2 Replies View RelatedI had created som drawing before I had to make som adjustments to my model which made it a deal larger. Then i went back to my drawings. Everything was perfect exept my arrangement drawing where I have used the master wiew from my model to make a drawing. When i returnd, this was locked. I'v deleted the wiews in the dwg file and I'v tried to make som new ones but the master wiew becomes invisible in the dwg sheet. Ewery other wiew works just fine exept this. I guess it's because it is a large file, but how can I fix it?

I have made a 3d model of my balcony by simply extruding the steel profiles I used in my sections. I then used the union command to join them all together.
I now think and exploded isometric may be the better way to present the drawing but as I have now made the frame all one element what is the best way to seperate it?
the corners I think will be easy I just create a planar at 45 degrees and use that to split the corners but is there an easy way to seperate the mid PFC and angle?

I am in the process of making a photobook using Lightroom and discovered when I reached page 240 that I couldn't add any additional pages, much to my surprise. I was surprised because I knew from Blurb's website that the limit for standard paper is 440 pages and mistakenly assumed that this limit would also apply within Lightroom. I did more research online and found many others being surprised by this limitation after spending hours and days on a photo book. I will likely work around this by exporting from Lightroom to .jpg and uploading to Blurb, but that will take extra time and effort and reduces the appeal of using Lightroom to create a Blurb book. I had also tried exporting from Lightroom to .pdf only to find that the .pdf format exported by Lightroom is not compatible with the requirements of Blurb.

I am trying to up load a 40 page 12" x 12" photo book to Blurb from the book module in Lightroom 4.2. It renders the pages and then having rendered the cover gets stuck, about 50% to 60% through the process. None of the photographs are starred or colour coded. I have uploaded successfully from this iMac in the last few weeks.

my default 0 degrees is set at east. setting 0 degrees as north, south etc
