I am a Retoucher and I have a new client that sends me 150 - 200 Real Estate photos per day. They shoot the photos so that I have 1 ambient exposure (Background Layer) and 1 flash exposure (Layer 1) which I then blend together with a recipe I designed for their look. I need to find a way to speed up the processing and although my action executes the look exactly how I need it in a very efficient manner the real time killer is the opening & layering steps.
I know this a long shot but my ideal solution would be to drag the folder of images which are sorted and/or labelled in the correct order in to a droplet and from there it processes the images one at a time but layering the files (ambient as "Background" and flash as "Layer 1"), running the action, has a stop-action on lens correction, asks me where to save, closes the image and continues to the next image.

I have loaded autocad 2013 on several workstations. On one machine, I seem to be having trouble with the .pgp file not loading. Ordinarily when typing in "O", i get offset but for some reason, it changes my cursor to orbit and asks to "select an object".
This is only happening on one machine. Other commands work but customized ones do not.
Can load or install a *.dat file into civil 3d 2012. i have a file form the army corp of engineers that will draw a structural shape in autocad but i can't seem to load the file in autocad or civil 3d.
View 8 Replies View Relatedwhy our copies of AutoCAD MEP 2012 seem to hang when loading the default dwt files? On the splash screen it details all the files being loaded and when it gets to the dwt file it just hangs at 0%. In the windows task manager, acad.exe stops using memory (around 90megs) and the cpu stops too. It's get's really frustrating, especially as it only seems to affect our new Dell Optiplex's and a couple of our old Dell Precisions. Some of them work first time every time, no probs. All PC's are Windows 7 Pro 64bit and running the latest service packs for AutoCAD.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI want vb code that work in Visual Studio 2010 Express to create bundle to load Creating a partial CUI,lisp file and loading it inside AutoCAD 2012 .
View 6 Replies View Relatedworking with 2014 acad and i have made myself a partial CUI. it is really only one extra tab on the ribbon with a few of the standard panels i use in one place. nothing to out there. so here is a step by step of what i did to get this cui file.
entered comannd CUI in command prompt.
went to "Transfer" tab in the CUI dialog box
on the left panel it is "Main Customisation File (acad.cuix)"
on the right panel i created a new CUI file.
then right clicked the "Ribbons" path and created new "Josh's Tab"
then transfered the panels across i wanted
then saved the cui as "Josh's CUI.cuix"
then loaded the .cuix file via the "CUILOAD" command
at first nothing at all happened, so i unloaded and reloaded it. then closed and opened acad again. still nothing
so i loaded it and unloaded it a few times again. so i went back to "CUI" and had a look at my partial and it hadn't saved anything.
so i created a new tab again "Josh's Tab"
transfered the panels again and saved the file then loaded and reloaded the .cuix
when i loaded it acad "blinked" while it reloaded all the CUIs and my tab was there but no panels. i had another look at the CUI and the panels are there but not showing in the ribbon.
i have done this from 2009-2012/13 (can't remember which i was last using) and never had a problem. i have been away from Acad for the last 16months though so i figure i have just forgotten one simple step somewhere. I have the current SP installed also.

So my other designer is having issues getting his ACAD to open directly from a DWG file. He can open just fine using hydracad, or autocad, or acad mechanical, and open the file once inside. The problem only arises while opening straight from the DWG file on our server (or his hard drive itself, doesnt matter the location). Any DWG file for that matter. Myself and another designer are able to open them all just fine, and have no issues. We are all running with the exact same settings of startup (1), and all have the same computer specs.
Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5502 @ 1.87GHz 1.86GHz (2 Processors)

Nvidia Quadro NVS 290
and a couple 250 gig Hard drives.
We tried running a repair and it didn't do anything. Not sure what the issue could be. I tried performing quite a few of them for him (even though none of the titles indicated they were having troubles opening just with DWGs, as most were having freezes on the splash screen just opening the .exe).
After downloading the Autodesk Inventor 2013, I was forced to download the hotfix. I completed the download, and started up Inventor. My force closed crash report directed me to the most updated update, which I then installed to no avail. I've sent an additional crash report, but I've yet to recieve any feedback. When I go to either load the .ipt blank file, or even close the welcome center tab (to be able to access the tools to troubleshoot) It shuts down.

I got a problem to pass parameter from VB to batch file. My code is below to run the batch file and to pass parameter.

output ="C:atchFile est.dxf"

Is there any way GIMP can batch or copy metadata from one file to other file(s)? Specifically, a list of keywords from one image to other images that would use the same keywords.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm currently working on a site which is almost 95% complete. The loading time for the site is approx 7-10 seconds which seems to be slow. I have placed a preloader but that doesn't seem to be coming up while the site is loading.
Is there anyway to speed up the loading time. Like some code that will tell it load specific number of frames first and then load the rest in the background?

I am having issues with the Batch File changing a attribute definition. I do not want to go in to the 500 or so dwgs just to change the one attribute definition i can code to replace.

DEPT#

The code format works for every one of my att in the title block except the DEPT#. I think it is because it is the only att with the # sign as an end character in the Att definition. I can not change the attribute name bc it is my customers title block. I am working on 2013 LT and would prefer a fix for LT but can get access to mechanical 13.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have problems loading a max file. The file has several containers with external content, and it started crashing on load after I created those containers.
I tried merging the file into an empty scene, and it works if I merge everything but the containers. I also tried merging the containers alone, and that makes it crash.
I need/want to use containers, because the scene is very big, and can be quite challenging to handle. I could try using X-refs instead, but I was hoping to use containers, since it seems like a good solution in theory at least!
The full my message I get is: "Error loading PSD file: Unsupported compression mode: 65409", do you know why? Is the file corrupted? Is there any way to recover it?
I don't have Photoshop, by the way. I use .psd format because I work on both GIMP and SAI. I tried to open it at SAI, but there were nothing but lines. The colors went missing.
I really don't want to lost the file, since this is something I work on for months. I can't redraw all the thing I drew since the deadline is in the end of May!
I'm trying to create my own set of Patterns in a .pat file.It doesn't work as the instructions say.But with an immense amount of effort, going about it in a roundabout way to get past security nonsense and locked files that weren't locked, I managed to create a .pat file with my Patterns in the proper folder. I couldn't do this directly. Instead I added my Patterns to an existing .pat file with the idea of later deleting those that aren't mine and restoring the original .pat file to its original state. However, I can't load my .pat file or any other .pat file. That is, the Load function doesn't work, so I can't have my own Patterns in a .pat file that I can access.I've tried to load the ,.pat file using the Preset Manager, using Layer > New Fill Layer > Pattern, and using the Paint Bucket tool, but the selected .pat file doesn't get added to the list of .pat files that can be used. What is the Magic Word to get a .pat file to Load?

I have begun the creation of a new custom content center library because the old one was or became corrupted during our migration from from Inventor 2011 to 2013. The old custom library was un-recoverable. The creation of a custom content center library, adding components to the the custom library and working with the file tables adding columns for part description etc.. is rather easy. Refreshing legacy content center files has been rather difficult. In some cases I needed to delete the legacy files and them re-insert them manually. This process is rather time consuming. What I would like to do is to create all the files in the family table after I have made the changes to the family talble.
