I am running AutoCad LT 2014 and am experiencing an erratic cursor when using the move and copy commands. This only started to happen after a while of use and any resetting or restarting will not clear the problem. Instead of a smooth movement the cursor jumps.
I am just trying to fix some seems for a texture in Photoshop. I'm using a pretty simple method of a half opacity Clone Stamp brush and just tapping the obvious seams with other parts of the image.
All goes well till about 38 seconds into it the Clone Stamp makes a huge streak in the lower left half of the video. You'll even notice that my cursor didn't go over there.... its similar to drawing lines while holding shift (giving you straight lines) but it happens randomly and not on purpose... any ideas?
Late 2008 Unibody MacBook Pro, running OS X 10.7.4 Lion, and Photoshop CS6 13.0. Â In Photoshop CS6, I have noticed that when using my Wacom Bamboo Fun tablet, the eyedropper tool will very often (almost always) display erratic behaviour when using the brush tool and pressing Alt to switch to the eyedropper tool temporarily. The "source location" (the pixel which is being sampled), along with the color picker ring will rapidly "vibrate", making it difficult to choose a precise color. The eyedropper cursor will NOT vibrate, however, showing that the problem isn't with the pointing device. Â When switching directly to the eyedropper, the issue does not happen, it only happens when pressing Alt while using Brush tool, as far as I can tell.It also does not seem to happen when using the MacBook Pro's built-in trackpad.[URL]...
Here is a thread about a similar issue, though I cannot tell if this is the same problem, as I have not had this issue with CS5 with the same exact setup:[URL]...
am experiencing display problems with Civil 3d 2012 on my Hp Elitebook laptop, when i open surface properties and go to styles dropdown menu i get empty dialog but if i move mouse cursor out of the dialog they appeared the same issue appears on other dialogs. I installed c3d 2013 trial still i get same problem. I installed autodesk certified driver same problem.
I just started using Inventor and I have this issue, that whenever I set a dimension in a sketch, the sketch doesn't update to the new dimension until I move my mouse/cursor. Is this normal? Is there any way to change it so it updates as soon as I hit the enter button (after entering a dimension)
One of my co-worker has this problem with his cursor's crosshairs. When he moves his cursor the crosshairs are like blinking or sort of flashing. It's not that big of a problem but it's just getting anoying in a short while.
Whenever i move my cursor over a 3D solid, outlines of the solid stay dashed.I tried changing the visual effect settings but it doesn't work.
it doesn't only do this in every view (top, side, front) but also when i'm panning around and hover my mouse over any solid. Using the regen command resets the solids so that they don't have the dashed outlines anymore.
whenever i'm panning around and i have conceptual view on, i have to switch from conceptual -> wireframe -> conceptual if i want the solids to look normal again.
I'm a FCP person who has gone to premier cc because I dont like the new ver of FCP which seems to be imovie on steriods. How do you move the timeline cursor from the end of one clip to start of the next. In FCP ver 7 it's a simple button.
I produce a lot of "Exploded View" style drawings for our equipment for assembly drawings and Operators Manuals. I model everything in 3D, set the perspective view, adjust the view I like, then use the Flatshot command to make 2D lines and arcs verions of the view to put into paperspace. Then item bubbles, notes, whatever. as of the last week, my flatshots, if they include a hex bolt head in the view, the arcs on the faces of the flats will be really stretched and skewed decidley toward the vanishing point in the completion of the Flatshot command. It does not happen on other arcs that may be in the model, seems to be exclusive with the hex. I doesn't happen if I do not make the view pespective but leave it "Parallell".
When I move my mouse over my image the brush cursor is not moving and it will not let me click on my image (with the mouse) the crosshair/cursor will follow it, however the brush will not, nor will any other tools, my wacom tablet however works fine.
I thought it must be something to do with GIMP accepting input but its not going as of yet.
For cropping part of an image, the cursor virtually snaps to positions according to what the programmer sees in the image. Maybe not always, but that is the way it seems to me in many cases. Even when it does not do so, I find it impossible to move the cursor in very tiny increments by using my mouse. If I were to greatly enlarge the image on the screen to get finer control, then only part of the image would fit on the screen. I want a technique for controlling the selection with as much fine precision as is available when resizing, for example. We can specify hundredths of a millimeter when resizing; very finely precise indeed.  Is there a technique that I can use to have very fine and precise control of a crop, preferably by specifying a movement left-right-up-down using decimal fractions of a unit of distance? The same question applies to using the selection tool.
I have used the marquee tool to select an area and moved it using the cursor keys. Now I want to drop it/commit it even when I hit enter I can't seem to get rid of the marquee flashing surround.
Very light paint strokes on my Wacom Intuos 3 produce a full force stroke in CS4 every 3 to 15 strokes. Anybody else have this problem? This does not happen with CS2. Also, using the Wacom diagnostics, I can make endless light strokes and never see the pressure go above 16%. I'm using CS4 11.0.1, Wacom driver 6.1.1-3, Nvidia GeForce 6800 with drivers updated, Windows XP.
Uusing windows 7/64, Lightroom 3.6 Â When using the Publish function, LR sometimes publishes a number of photos with no problem, sometimes only the first one, sometimes it publishes but says the operation failed, and sometimes it behaves like mission accomplished when nothing published at all!
How do you change the characteristic of the cursor from Hand (Move Tool) back to just being a pointer? This condition only exists in the Develope Module when my cursor is placed over the top of the photo. When I move it off the photo it returns to a pointer. In the Library Module it is always a pointer like I like it to be.
When I have a none vector tool active for example the brush tool and I press and hold the Ctrl key down I see the cursor change from the current tool to the move tool cursor. If I presses and hold the Alt key I see the cursor change from the current tool to the eyedropper tool. If I press and hold both the Ctrl+Alt keys a see a cursor icon change to an icon that has two up pointing Arrow heads one Black the other White. What tool is that cursor for? It seems to copy and move the current layer and move its position over the canvas.Â
Since the end of Aug. 2012 I've been making families for a manufacturer. I left Friday evening with good families. This morning I am finding all the families I checked with a problem.  When I move the cursor across the various views it doubles the views. Rolling the mouse wheel one click either way to zoom in or out cleans the view but on the next time the cursor goes across the view it doubles it again. Now there are 4 views overlapping each other. The next time it is possibly 8, and so on. It is difficult to count them because they are overlapping but it looks like they are doubling each time.  The software is Revit Architecture 2011 and the computer is a Dell Precision T3500.Are the families corrupted or is it the computer? Is there a toggle I hit that I shouldn't have?
My cursor appears and disappears while in GIMP as I move the cursor over the canvas. I can make the cursor appear but only if there is no movement of the cursor. It makes no difference which tool I select, the size of the canvas, or the level of zoom.
Please note that this only occurs in Gimp, and none of my other applications. It started when I upgraded from openSUSE 12.1 to 12.2. I'm assuming that it has something to do with my input device configuration, but I could be totally wrong.
I have a total of 3 input devices - Core Pointer, Logitech USB-PS/2 Optical Mouse, and Virtual Core XTEST Pointer. Both the Optical Mouse and XTEST Pointer are DISABLED. Core Pointer is the only one enabled. Enabling Optical Mouse and XTEST Pointer give me other problems in Gimp and need to remain disabled.
For the Core Pointer, Mode is set to SCREEN, a message says that 'The axis X has no curve', and the following Axis Settings: X 1 Y 2 Pressure none xtilt none ytilt none wheel none
In Gimp Preferences->Input Controllers, there are three active controllers - Mouse Buttons, Main Mouse Wheel, and Main Keyboard.
In Xcode, we have to define cursor as: Â resource 'CURS' (16001) { Â Â Â $"00 00 00 00" Â Â Â $"18 00 3C 00" Â Â Â $"1E 00 0F 00" Â Â Â $"07 80 03 C8" Â Â Â $"01 E8 00 FC"
[Code]... Â In Windows we use .cur file, simpler. Â I want to convert .cur file to the mac format above, how?
If I have a dynamic block of a window. I can move either side of the block but the basepoint doesn't move. Is there a way to move the basepoint as well so its not off in space? or just delete it and have it now shown?
In the example below, I would like to select the three dimensions 14'-1 3/8's, 2', 28' and be able to move them all up or down at the same time...how do I do that?
So a friend created a model using zbrush and exported several different *.OBJ files. I imported those to maya and added shaders. They all fit correctly together when imported.
some of those obj files required me to do a mesh->combine. so now it appears that not every item has the same reference point so that when I move or scale the entire item, some of the objects move seperately. I think it is only the ones I had to combine.
I tried freeze transformations, but when doing that, some of the objects lost their scale settings and still didnt move together as one unit.
I am using the trial version of CS5 (probably going to upgrade at the end of the trial), and I've only found one thing about it that I don't like more than CS3. This is VERY VERY annoying, and I'm not sure if it's a glitch, or just a preference that needs to be reset: Â When using the move tool, I will move something and it will just snap back to where it originally was. When it snaps back, it might move a few pixels over in the direction I was dragging, but it is definitely not moving to where I want it to go. The only way to get things to move the way I want to is by Free Transform...but it's annoying, when you're trying to design a layout, to have to free transform every element you want to move, first. Â I'm guessing that this is a glitch because sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn't...it's pretty random. I've tried turning Snap on and off, and nothing changes.
What happened to the option/enter command in the move object dialog that has been around since the early days of Illustrator??? Instead of having to mouse click the "copy" button in the move object window, one could just hold down option with Return or Enter and the Copy command would happen rather than a simple move. Immensely useful for prepress work!
