Jul 11, 2006When working with an IAssembly I keep getting an error message that reads "an unnamed file contains an invalid path." I cannot seem to find a problem anywhere.

Apr 11, 2012When i attempt to open an IGS file i get "an unnnamed files contains an incorrect path"
I thought it could have been a corrupted file but its not.Tried to create my own IGS file (successful) attempted to open that and failed.Downloaded an IGS file from Autodesk, failed as well.I was having issues opening other files but i updated the video drivers on my Dell M6600.

I have the below code but i only goes one level deep.
I tried the code from the inventor that does the trick on a structured bomview but i will fail if you have a virtual componenent that has the same partnumber as a part inserted in the assembly. then it finds the first insertet and errors on the next?
i have to recursively go to the "Unnamed" bomview here the below code does not fail and works, but as written only one level deep, i need all levels?

AutoCAD 2010 :: 1324 Error / The Folder Path (My Documents) Contains Invalid Character
Sep 26, 2012I'm currently getting the "1324 Error. The folder path 'My Documents' contains an invalid character."
when trying to run AutoCad 2010. It had been working fine previously, but now it gives this error and won't allow me to use it. I am also unable to uninstall or reinstall the program without getting the same error.
I have confirmed that the profile is not set to roaming. I have also tried deleting the registry entries as recomended here:

The user account is local administrator. The OS is Windows 7 64bit.
Illustrator :: Unnamed Global Colors From Pantone Color Manager ASE File?

First of all some system information:
* imac running OSX 10.8.x and macbook running OSX 10.9.1
* Illustrator CC
* Pantone Color Manager
I am trying to use the Pantone Fashion and Home / Paper color library provided by the Pantone Color Manager, specifically for using the Radiant Ochid 18-3224 TPX (Color of the Year 2014). I saved the named library to a *.ase file and opened it in Ai. From the number of colors I guess, that all colors are imported but I can't find the 18-3224. BUT there are lots of "Unnamed Global Colors" with some of them wich might be the one in question. Using 'xxd pantone.ase' in the terminal I can find at least the name "Radiant Orchid 18-3224 TPX", which means, that it is saved in the given file.

Oct 10, 2012I have a standard install of Inventor 2012 SP2, but for some reason it cant seem to find the images for IBL effects. See attached Screen shot, when I go to select an item there is nothing there.
I have found the files in the "c:userspublicautodeskenviroments" folder but why Inventor cant see them?I have looked in "App options" in the "file" tab and in the project file and I cant see any pathing options that relate to the enviroments?
The default images for textures and bumpmaps are all found OK just not the IBL files? How I can set the path to these enviroment images?

1. Where does IV pick up these default file paths? Can I modify that .xml manually as a workaround?

it will simply return the file name of the corresponding IPT.
I want to be able return the path for the IPT from within the IDW as well.

Oct 19, 2011How, or if it is possible to change the default file location for a tube and pipe run?
I know that you can browse out and modify the file path on your initial save but is there any way to change the default?
Example of what the default is: (assembly part number = 123456)
location for Tube and Pipe runs: C:ProjectsDesign Files123456123456AIPTube and Pipe
location for Run File: C:ProjectsDesign Files123456123456AIPTube and PipeRun01
example of what I would like the default pathing to be:
location for Tube and Pipe runs: C:ProjectsDesign Files123456
location for Run File: C:ProjectsDesign Files123456
basically I would like to remove the sub folders so all files are saved in one folder location.
My company is using inventor routed systems 2010.

Oct 1, 2013Coworker opened a drawing that he created yesterday. Upon opening he received the following error - "Attempting to end an invalid transaction. Id: 2008125432". He hit OK and the program resumed. It did not crash. There is no red plus in the menu bar.

Dec 10, 2012I derived in a part and I am trying to use a sketch from it in my new part.
I am trying to revolve my sketch and when I do I get this error.
I am using a English version, and I cant read chinese at all. Design doctor shows no errors, but this will not revolve. Tried Extruding and get the same error. When I try to revolve, it shows a preview of my part correctly, but when I click apply in the revolve dialog, that is when I get this error.
The files are attached and here is a video of my steps. In the zip file, the -M8.ipt needs the EOF marker moved all the way to the bottom.

Sep 23, 2010i get an error message telling (invalid thread data table. Please check Thread.xls file.i tried to reinstall the windows and the autodesk inventor but the error keep appearing.
1.my os is windows xp sv2 32 bit

3. i tried to reinstall without any antivirus on my pc but i still have the same problem

5. yes i've office 2007 installed & i had tried with office 2003 but also the same problem.
1 the first time i used, i made the bolted connection once, but at the second time i kept having this issue.
2 my last trial was installing a freh copy of the windows then install office and the inventor only but nothing changed
3 i tried to install the inventor on another pc but i also had the same issue
4 i searched the c drive for the file THREAD.xls, and i found three of it and i guess they are fine.

I have a 3D sketch consisting of 1 straight line, one spline with 4 points dictated by 'points' and an arc. Jun 27, 2013For the past three days i have been working on a drawing in photoshop CS6. I was working on it this morning and it went just fine. I save it and when i quite the program a message appeared saying Photoshop has stoped working.
The file was still in the place i saved it, everything seemed ok so i took a brake. A few hours later i tried to open it again and a message apeared saying Photoshop could not open the file because it is not a valid Photoshop file I have tried to open previous .psd files and they worked just fine.
