AutoCAD Inventor :: Add Text To Printed (paper) Documents Without Modifying Digital Copy?

I'm looking to add the name of the person printing the document as well as the date to any paper copies printed. However, since everythign is stored in Vault, this needs to be done without making any changes to the document that require saving the document.
Ideally this would be automatic(requiring no user input).
I've used both iLogic and built Inventor Addins before.

I have to get the printed paper model, and to assembly it within Inventor.
At the moment, I have the chassis, and next step should be a surface modelling.
But I`m not sure, which tool should I use. Chassis consist of some bulkheads, and there should be one patch between two neighbors. Patches are already printed:
So I have to bend them, according to bulkheads profiles.
Question is: how can I perform this step? I can`t realize, how to bend these patches, to stich two neighbor profiles. Is it possible for Inventor? Or should I use the authomatic surface fill, and texturing later?

When printing a paper space viewport in Conceptual Visual Style mode, text objects are visible in the print preview but not in the printout on paper. Why are they not hidden in the preview if they are not going to be printed?

I have received a new logo from our brand developers. The spec is
C - 0
M - 98
Y - 75
K - 22
or Pantone 1805
or R - 191
G - 49
B - 26
I get a different colour depending on which spec I use, and if I sample a digital document, a fourth variation on red. Am I just not understanding these colour specs? I want to be able to reproduce the logo on printed documents, and use it for embroidery on clothing. I also need to produce adobe pdf files and jpegs to email copy to advertisers.

creating web graphics, web text, web gifs but I seek a resource of creating a document in photoshop, designed for an 11 x 8.5 inch piece of paper that when printed, will be crystal clear.
Most of my efforts, in fact all of my efforts have fallen short (smudged or jagged print and graphics) so I'm missing something. I'm not saving it in the correct format, I'm not printing it with the correct settings, or something else.

My PC operating Microsoft XP had to be replaced. I was using Adobe Photoshop6.0, serial #<deleted>. That program is lost to me and I am now using Photoshop 2.0. I cannot find a way to adjust for different media types; that is, plain paper, glossy photo paper, etc. How do I make the adjustments to accommodate a variety of media using Photoshop 2.0 and can I get access or download Photoshop 6.0?

I run MacOS 10.9, Lightroom 5.3 and I print on an Epson R3000.
The first problem I had was that the images was printed on just a small part of the paper and it cut the images. I have attached a picture showing this. I totally reinstalled my computer and now it looks like that problem is gone (for now at least). But now the images are printed but much smaller than the paper I specify. If I specify A3+ I get something close to A4. Borderless printing on 6*4 looks to be working as it should but that's the only I managed to print so far.
I tested printing from Photoshop 5.1 and that worked fine.

I've been noticing for a while that my Epson 3880 "keeps printing" after the image has been printed. I loaded some paper that is a little wider than 11x14 (12x14) but I print on it as if it's 11x14. I printed an image (only 8x10 on the page) and now that a wider paper is in the tray I see that a black line is being printed down the side of the page. It's a line that is actually being printed down the entire sheet. When the paper isn't wider than what I've specified the print head just goes past the paper and "thinks" it's printing on the paper.
The printer is an Epson 3880 with current drivers and I'm using the current version of Photoshop CS5.

I run AI CS6. I open new document and prepare two shapes and fill them up with Pantone colors for reference, for my design. I procced to make some work, name cards for example.
Now I want to send the card to my printer, while I work on the rest of colleterals. So I open new document, identical to the one I oppened 30 minutes ago. I don't change color setting or anything. But when I paste the cards to new document, they change color.When I sample the colors, the Color Pallet identifes them correctly by thier pantone number.

We are using AutoCAD Architecture 2013 and AutoCAD LT 2013 in our office-just upgraded. Now, whenever we go into a drawing that uses the Archstyle (Shx) font and try to copy or paste any text, the font changes to simplex. We have to exit completely out of AutoCAD to recover the font.

Quick question...
Once a 3D object is drawn/completed in Inventor LT, how does one go back to the object to change the length/radius of certain objects without having to completely redrawn the object. For instance, imagine a bike wheel that is fully draw. Later perhaps one wants to go back to the wheel and adjust the radius of the spokes and the length. How does one do this quickly. In 2D I see how, but can this also be done in 3D with Inventor LT?

I am trying to do a "quick and dirty" stopgap.
I am in the process of repairing and assembling the various systems for a luxury yacht - electrical, mechanical etc. The ultimate goal is to get a full 3D layout of parts and assemblies, then using tube and pipe and cable and harness to run conduits, aircon ducts, fuel lines....
All I have to go on are .dwgs
In the meantime I need to submit a modified .dwg to the engineers overseas to get the O.K. on swapping the order of certain components. All I need to do is change the labels text on the layout, nothing else.
I have imported the .dwg into an Inventor sketch and edited the text.
Now I am stuck. Placing the view into a new drawing shows nothing.
RMB export sketch as .dwg works, but not a single line of text shows, only the layout.

I am working on a set of architectural drawings, and so far I got about 12 sheets (each sheet is on a paper space layout) of details. I am using AutoCad 2005LT. The text is in paper space and all the drawings in model space. I have to move some details from one layout to another. When I copy the viewport with text to different layout the items in model space don't show off . Is there a way to copy text in paper space along with detail in model space at the same time to a different layout?

I'm having an issue on my full scale detail sections for a set of entry doors. I used layoutwizard to create my layout and I'm adding text (dtext) and leaders and it all looks good on my screen. When I print it out the text is rotated 90 degrees. I imagine it's any easy fix but I sure can't find it.
I thought I should add- when I look at 'print preview' the text is rotated. When I go back to the layout the text looks correct. I tried unchecking the "match text orientation to layout" and checking it again and it didn't work. Seems like this might be a glitch of some sort?
update: If the text is in model space it prints properly. Only the text in paper space shows up rotated.

Any idea how to do this since I heard it was possible - say I have an scanned image with text in it - say the words 'Blue' in a certain font, I would like to change those words to the words 'Red' in the same exact font and font size. My company is trying to Standardize all drawings produced to 1 format. the one we are attempting to create would be in the form of: nominal upper limit^lower limit. this is easily acheived in autocad and linear, chamfer, and hole/thread dimensions in inventor. but radii's and diameters from a round surface (as apposed to linear diameters) we have run into a snag with. We cannot seem to find a way to either remove the prefix symbols or be able to insert text between the symbol and tolerance.
below is a illistration of the problem and the form of the new dimensions.

A coworker of mine has made a bunch of custom extrusions, turned them into iParts, and published them to the Content Center. The parts are driven in length by the key parameter "Length". Unfortunately, he forgot to mark that "Length" parameter as export in the parameter dialogue before publishing. Is there ANY way to get that "Length" parameter to be exported so the Parts List can pull the cut length?

In my neverending battle to find a way to turn off unneeded components in an assembly, I'm trying my hand at modifying component visibility with a custom View Rep. View reps seemed to pose fewer issues than LOD's (in that you can have a drawing and model open at the same time without a million error messages)......until I tried to make a pattern.
When first placing a new subassembly component into an assembly, it will automatically place in the "Last Saved" View Rep. Since certain parts may be invisible in my "skeletal" subassembly, this is ideal. HOWEVER, when I try to pattern this subassembly, all of the occurrences absolutely insist on displaying at the "Master" View Rep. This makes no sense to me whatsoever and destroys yet another workflow at the 99% mark. I understand that I can change the view rep manually, but manual workarounds and corrections defeat the point of using iLogic to manipulate our models.
Am I the only CAD user who wants the simple ability to "turn off" an assembly component? iAssemblies are not an option due to the shear number of combinations of unneeded components.

I don't understand why my parts aren't updating when I put a hole through them on the assembly drawing? I would expect the part (.ipt file) to get updated with a hole through it when I save the assembly drawing, however it doesn't. Do I have to change a default setting or does inventor no do this?

I'm having trouble printing out a Photoshop picture with some text. The text comes out noticeably pixelated. I know there is a way to print it in a non-pixelated way (the font is much more smooth) since I can print out another Photoshop picture with text of the same font, color, size, and everything else and there is no pixelation. Both pictures are exactly the same size (863 by 1125), and neither text layer has been rasterized. Why would one print out pixelated and the other not?
