But is there a way to get an image icon in the project list? I have a lot of projects and descriptive names only go so far with me. A little image next to each one would jog the memory. Rather than plod through a bunch looking for the right one.
My Image tool icon is grayed out in Insert Panel of the IDW.
I created a sketch in the IDW & have no way to insert a graphic.I checked multiple files including a new file forma template & cannot get the Image icon to work, it's always grayed out.
Is there an option setting I need to change?
We really should have the ability to cut & paste into IDW's.
I'm searching for quiet a while now, but I can't find information or an example to show an Icon (image) in a button on the shelf for my new tools. The addin should run on 64bit windows.
I found some example wich use vb6 tools, but I don't have these on my win64 and c#.
I'm using Acad Architecture 2010, and my quick access toolbar does not have the Project Browser Icon, and my application panel has no Save or Open Project Browser either. I can only get to it by "Configure" in Project Standards panel. It is not in CUI.
In ACA 2011 I have the project browser icon. This is easy to find and use in the 2011 quick access toolbar.
When I open the "Customize user interface" I find and select "Project Browser", then I see under the properties of the command I only see "Display" and "Advanced" nothing else is listed. This command is quite odd compared to other commands.
However, in ACA 2013 this icon is completely missing, I cannot find it in the quick access toolbar, when I search in the "Customize user interface" command list, I cannot find "Project Browser" in the search field of the command list.
How do I find the command for project browser so that I can drag it / steal it from another .cuix file?
Bonus Question: How do I stop the sheet set manager from always showing up? I use the sheets tab of the project navigator all the time.
I'm wanting to emboss a logo onto a part. Is it possible to project the logo outline? Or is there a better way of getting the logo into inventor? The logo file is a .jpg file.

I have downloaded few instant project templates Yet when I go to the Instant project window I do not see the import Icon . I only see the orange Icon(get more content). Is there something wrong with the installation of my VSPro x3.
My computer crashed and had to reinstall everything, well almost everything, still re-installing. The issue that I am having is the Instant Project-Wizard button/icon, that is suppose to be located above the Timeline is not being displayed. This applies to both programs, VideoStudio X4 & X5 versions.
I do not have vault installed and I am trying to add sub files to my project. As of now my project has to find many of my files and I do not want to copy and past them into my project folder as this will mess with my parts numbering system. I want only one part / assembly file per part. I assume that you can do this with the project dialog box or some other system tool I just can not seem to figure it out.
My Visual Studio 2010 VB.NET program creates a shortcut to an ACAD.EXE file. I want to use the out-of-the-box AutoCAD icon image. The default path to the icon image is:
%SystemRoot%Installer{GUID}ACA2013.ico
I use the following methodology:
Dim objShellClass As New IWshRuntimeLibrary.IWshShell_Class Dim objShortcut As IWshRuntimeLibrary.IWshShortcut objShortcut = CType(objShellClass.CreateShortcut(strPathFile), IWshRuntimeLibrary.IWshShortcut) With objShortcut .Arguments = strArguments .Description = strName .IconLocation = strIconLocation
[code]....
Everything works fine except the shortcut image is blank. When I right-click on it and select properties, then Change Icon... it is pointing to the correct icon image. If I select OK and OK the icon image appears on the shortcut.
Why does the image NOT appear when the shortcut is initially created?
Is there a way to add an image or icon as an attribute to a block?
I have created a lot of dynamic blocks and use eat text to extract data to a table for an equipment legend/table. I always have to add the legend symbol to the list manually and was wondering if there is a way to insert or link an image so that when I create the legend the symbol will automatically be loaded.
but my result- the dwg preview is very small I only white screen without figures which I wrote in it. How to resize and fit the image into the icon ? (when i press command button I would like to see maximum image in icon ).
My dvb project file was getting bigger and bigger so I decided to split it into individual files. However, I want to have one file that contains all my library images and I had hoped to reference this library from all the other projects.
So, I have a MASTER.dvb project which contains a library of images, one of which is called LOGO.
In TITLEBLOCK.dvb I want to refer to that LOGO image and place it in my userform.
When everything was together I used LogoTB.Picture = Library.LOGO.Picture.
How do I modify this? I tried LogoTB.Picture = MASTER!Library.LOGO.Picture and variations thereof but can't get it to work.
I've created a button that I've implemented into inventor. However I am at a loss as to how to create an icon for the button. I've read all the articles i can find (such as)

I've restarted the program and the computer multiple times but to no avail.
what the little symbol that looks like the recycle symbol is in the model tree is? I have several parts in this assembly and many of them seem to have this symbol that says adaptive next to them and I can't find and rhyme or reason to it. I am attaching a screen shot of it. I use Inventor 2012.
When hovering over icons, such as the “Constrain” function, the helper graphic appears over top of my product tree. After the graphic is finished playing it doesn’t go away. I can’t select anything in my tree structure that is behind the graphic and when I try to select the “I” (New, Save, Etc), I can’t select anything from that menu dropdown which is under the icon either.
I’m running Windows 8.1, and I’m using a trial version of Autodesk Inventor Pro 2014.
I could not see the preview of the drawing in any document of inventor. The icons shows only a box and not the drawing in miniature. The same happens with all my Autocad drawings.
Most of my views have been crosed over by a red line in the Model browser window (se attachment) What does this red line meen?
Also, all the views with the red line have been set to Raster View Only. I can untick it without problems, but when I click OK and reopen the dialog the checkmark is back on.
I am using Autodesk Inventor 2013 and for some reason I cannot access the precise input option. I can find the icon in the draw box, but it is grayed out and not clickable.
