how do i match on screen document size to view print size? when i create a new document and put in its dimensions when i press view print size it appears alot smaller on screen
I have been printing with an epson [artisan 50] for a long time, always great colors on my pc.
just switched to a mac and latest version of ps cs6 and my prints are not color correct [very muted colors on the print] It is definitely not the printer [prints perfect from otherc applications]
I have tried many of the settings / color management options, but none seem to do the job. Right now I have it set on 'photoshop manages color' and then for printer profile my printer type with correct paper.
I don't know what to do- share their knowledge on color management/printing
When creating PDFs/PNGs to watch on a computer, it doesn't make sense to use standard paper sizes. The reason is that usually the plotted window does not fill both width and height and there are big white margins inthe produced file.
So my question is, how can I easily create a paper size to match a selected window (or layout) at a certain scale?
I've received a dwg file from someone and I want to print it at scale 1:50 on A0 paper. However, I'm struggling creating the right scale.
My problem starts with the fact that measuring lines in the diagram does not produce values that match the actual size. E.g., I have a wall of size 390, but measuring it shows 621.
Is there any way to change the units to match the actual desired size?
Then, I find it tricky to create the right scale for printing (people will get the paper and use a ruler to measure distances, so accurate scale is important). If I cannot change the units, I guess I need a different scale than 1mm=50units. So I tried 1mm=8units, because 7.8mm should measure as 390cm in 1:50 ruler. But this is not very accurate.
1.I am using the latest version of videostudio which I upgraded today today June 11, 2011. 2.I am using a Sanyo Video Camcorder PD2, which I am recording in 1280 x 720 29.97 frames per second. 3.I’ve imported the video, into the program, and I am simply trying to “join” the video by using step three that is “Share.” 4.I am clicking option “create video file” and then the option “same as first video clip” because I would like to preserve the same video settings. There are other ways I could join the clips, but these ways do not preserve the video settings. So when I choose “same as first video clip I get my error message “The frame size of the video (1280 x 720) does not match the settings and therefore cannot be trimmed.’
I am making a list of thumbs in Photoshop that I want to all be the same width and height. What is the fastest and best way to accomplish this when the images are all slightly different sizes?
I've already chosen one of the images that has the perfect dimensions for the page. I'm confused though about how to crop the other images to match those dimensions. I am using CS2.
why i can't not match properties (MP) multileader texts, as you can see on the pic, i want the Mleader text on the right to be the same size as on the left, they are in the same layer, same mleader style but when click MP to match with the one on the left, nothing happen?
id like to have her on a white background. im good all the way to the point where you use the 'move' tool to drag the masked image onto a white background ( which is a blank PS document saved in Jpeg). when i drag it over i end up with a huge close-up crop that fills the entire image of my white background so that you cant even see the white.
conversely, when i drag the white background over my mask i only get a small rectangular box of white that fails to cover the entire background area once i drag the background layer below the mask.
I'm trying to scale a pattern to fit the entire canvas without tiling it over the whole layer. To try to do this, I made a rectangular selection box, then dragged and dropped a pattern into the box. This created a new layer called "clipboard". I right clicked the clipboard layer, then left clicked "Scale Layer". Then I entered a width and height in pixels that matched the size of the canvas. The selection does expand, but it doesn't fill the entire canvas.
I am having problems getting my final prints to match the screen view. Most recently I have had this problem: I have an image that is sized to 5X7. I have it on a 5X7 template in the print module of Lightroom. The image dimensions in Lightroom say 5X7. I print on 5X7 paper (I actually measured it to be sure). ON the screen they look perfect, match the the templates and measure out fime with the onscreen rulers. Without fail a portion of the print is cut off on the final print. The long side of the print is the most effected. This is not just limited to 5X7's, it happens across the board. Is this a common problem or I am I doing something wrong? In the 5X7 example above the print comes out 5.2 X 7.3 give or take. I am using Lightroom 5.3 on an iMac running OS 10.9.1. The printer is a Canon Pro 100.
Previously i`m using version 2009 and importing Google earth image and surface works fine. However, recently i tried with version 2010 and i`m having some problem here (imported surface / contour seems ok but the image is too large like 3x or 4x). How to solve that?
I set up a sequence that is HD, but I have source material that is 2K (2560x1440). When I try to insert or overwrite said source clip to the sequence, it should insert and automatically add a resize node. Instead, it changes the sequence size to match the source size. Bug?
Also, I can't seem to find a way to resize the output of my connectFX node to match the sequence size. For example, lets say I want to comp a bunch of shots that are 2K in action, and then output an HD sequence matching my sequence size. How is this done? I have changed the comp size in action and linked that to the connectfx node, but it just puts the smaller comp size in a black box which is the size of the source material (in this case, 2K).
I'm used to HP ploters, but our division got a canon last year. I'm not able to plot a 36x48 sheet on this plotter. For some reason, the plotter cuts off the length/width at 36". It's like the plotter is forcing it to cut at 36". When I choose to the paper size, "ARCH E borderless" shows. The plot preview looks fine, but the hard copy is always cut off.
I want to print pdf. Actual pdf size is 2.27mb. But when I send it on plotter for plot it , pdf file size increase up to 46.9MB. I wait more than 60 min for plot. But nothing came out.
Plotter display windows shown as processing print.
How I print it fast or how I decrease pdf size for printing.
I currently use Mep 2012 although my question I believe is general in nature. As a sheet metal contractor I do drawings that have many different entities at various elevations. Many times I use change propeties to match the propeties of on entity like a linetype to change another. What I really need to do is have the ability to use a similiar button and match or change the "Z" elevation of a specific entity just like I do for linetype, color etc.
I have successfully printed a dwg to a pdf but instead of its file size being 450k it is 1.4 m. This makes sending pdfs via email too cumbersome. It seems that even though the outcome is B&W somewhere along the line "it" thinks it is Color. I noticed that in Page Setup I no longer have the option of "DWG to PDF.pc3".
Is there a way to sent print to a selected printer by choosing multiple dwg files thru Folder directory without opening autocad? For example if I want to print 12.dwg, 13.dwg, 14.dwg and 15.dwg by just choosing these dwg files on my directory.
AutoCAD LT 2013 (Windows 7 Professional 64bit - SP1) prints fine to other printers and prints Letter size without problem. But, if you change the paper size to Legal AutoCAD crashes with the following error:
