Im trying to print A0 sheets and was just wondering if its possible to change the paper size to 594 x 1682. Pretty much to have 2 A1 sheets in portrait on top of each other.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI see a "new printing UI" is scheduled for v4, so maybe this will be included in that anyway, but a quick request: it'd be great of PDN would honour the default paper size when printing. I currently need to change from Letter to A4 (which isn't even on the "most popular" list, so it needs a further click to choose "other" first), despite this being the default paper size for the printer selected.
Either using the default paper size of the selected printer, or failing that, remember the previously selected paper size in PDN would save a good amount of frustration for those of us in Europe where A4 is the usual paper size ;-)
Running Mac os x 10.8.2 and Photoshop CS6. I have an Epson R2880 and so far only used Epson paper. I was able to find all the paper settings but i decided to buy a new German paper.
I downloaded the ICC profile, copied it to /Library/ColorSync/Profiles (and actually any other path that i could find in there). When i open the print dialog i cannot set that paper in either Photoshop or the Epson dialog.
I then removed ALL the ICC files from that path and... surprise. All the profiles are still shown in Photoshop.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWe are running Autocad 2012 on Windows 7 and printing to an HP5200 via server mapping in three different labs.
Had a similar problem before and changed the printer drivers from Universal back to PCL5. Since Christmas however this problem seems to have come back. We haven't changed anything. Wondering if maybe there were patches or something that affected this?? When we preview or send a print job Autocad just greys out and crashes. I do know that if we configure the computer to print via TCPIP it also works fine but this is not ideal with the number of computers and students we have.
Another thing we seemed to have noticed is that we don't have this problem with all printers but more oddly we noticed that when we change the default template some templates work and some don't.
By default we are set up to use the acadiso template as we are using the metric system - we can't get anything to plot using this. If we start with the standard acad template we do not have this problem. We have tried plotting a simple circle or a more complex drawing with the same result. The sample files plot fine but I'm guessing they were likely not done in metric...
I have a copy machine that staples automatically but i dont want it to staple all the time. I made two page setups 1 called toshiba 11x17 and one called 11x17 stapled. However every time i go into the properties for them whatever i do to one effects the other. I just want one to be stapled one to not be stapled and everything else to be identical.

So my question is, how can I easily create a paper size to match a selected window (or layout) at a certain scale?
When trying to change the plotter name to 'Adobe PDF' I cannot get the paper size and orientation to change.
I change to 'Adobe PDF', then change the properties to ARCH D drawing size and landscape, click OK, save changes to printer config and when it returns to Plot-Model window nothing is changed.We just switched over from Windows XP to Windows7.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have two documents, both with 300 DPI. The first is a 4x5 image and the second is an 11x17 page. I am trying to drag the entire 4x5 image (it's composed of several layers) onto the 11x17 page and keep it the same size. However, when I drag and drop, the 4x5 image is enlarged to fill the full width of the 11x17 page. This happens even if I hit shift. I recently upgraded from PSE10 where I did this regularly and can't figure out how to do it in PSE12. I have an iMac with OS 10.8.5.

View 3 Replies View RelatedAmong about a dozen ACAD users in my office, one is missing the "Arch D (landscape)" paper size that accompanies the PC3 file we generally use. I have checked that the roll size and other settings in the machine in question and all of that looks good. I don't want to edit this PC3 as it works for everyone else and don't want to create a new PC3 for this one user.

I have tried numerous times to make my paper size and actual plot size the same. My paper size is 24 x 36 but for some reason it rotates the paper and the output is 36 x 36, every time! When I look at it on the preview, it looks correct but then the paper comes out with a foot of paper at the top of the drawing. I've created new page sizes, etc.

At the moment the roll cuts off at 841mm in length when set to A1. How do you configure it to use more length of the roll so it doesn't cut off the drawing?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI am having a problem with all of my lines showing up on my prints when printing a 3D model. When I do a print preview, all of my lines show up but when I print to an actual sheet of paper or to PDF, the lines do not show up.

I have a 3D drawing with a cylinder in it. I use viewports in paper space. Sometimes only part of the cylinder outline shows in viewport or prints. I can trace over it in paper space, but that's a hack. What's the real solution? Autocad 2008
I just figured it out. It only happens with shading to 3D hidden. Change it to just plain hidden and problem goes away.
I have set up a layout tab to print to 22x34. I would like to be able to print it at half scale on an 11x17. So when I print it I set the scale to 1:2. However, even though it prints fine on a 22x34, two edges of my border are cut off when I print to an 11x17. I'm not sure whats causing it, I have tried printing using layout, window, display, and extents but it hasn't worked.
