I have not used Transparent Commands in a LONG time. I'm working in Civil 3D 2012 now. Where are the Transparent Commands?
I would like to dock a toolbar of all the Transparent Commands so they are easily accessible no matter where I have navigated to in the Ribbon.
I'm working with AutoCAD 2012 and I was surprised to find out that after typing: 'CAL "Expression" came up; and from all appearances, you'd think Autocad was awaiting (if not expecting) my input. However, none appeared on screen as I typed.
CAL command worked.
My setvar of CALCINPUT is set to 1.
I've got a drawing in Acad 2010 which consist of about 6000 lines. The image is a ship, and I need the drawing to insert in a HMI screen.
Now my problem: The accomedation of the ship is white, as is the background of the sheet. I need the drawing with a black background, but want to keep the white color of the accomedation of the ship. When I change the backgroundcolor of the sheet to black, the white areas inside the drawing will also change into black. If I trie to hatch the white areas inside the drawing the program gives a messages that there are to many open bounderies.
I tried to make a blok of the drawing and move it on a black square, but then again the white areas will turn black.
So for short: How can I make the white areas non-transparent without using the hatch-command?????
I am trying to locate the image over the glass surface.
But once picture is located over the glass the Decal command makes my picture transparent.
Is there any way to make it not transparent?
So far it works only with not transparent substrate.

Civil 3D 2012 has the DumpStyles DU command. What is the opposite? I want to write the exported styles into a fresh drawing. Overwrite options would be spectacular!
View 3 Replies View RelatedI just downloaded SP1 to mi Autocad Civil 3D (spanish), but now when i try to order some objects behind others it shows "Comando BACK no reconocido..." (Command BACK not recognized), i have tried to repaired the installation, reinstalled, unistalled and reinstalled, and the problem stills, so i guess it was the SP1 that change the language pack.
View 4 Replies View RelatedWe have lost the use of the two transparent commands 'spe and 'sse. When I either click on the toolbar or type 'spe or '_spe in the middle of a command, they don't work like the other transparent commands. When I click on toolbar by itself, I get an error "Unknown comment "SPE". The other transparent commands say something like "PSE must be called from within another command".
Also, is the actual comment 'spe the command name or is it an alias. I was thinking that if I knew the command name, I could create another allias as a work around.
This is happening on multiple computers.
No command will work from the Ribbon. I've changed workspaces and tried a backup CUI file. Is my system corrupt or is there some setting that displays the ribbon, but disables the commands within it?

I imagine this is a customization file issue?
I have some dimensions and mleaders that are in paperspace that I want to put in model space. When I use the CHSPACE command, the mleaders will switch, but the dimensions will not. Is there a reason dimensions cannot switch space? This is in Civil 3D 2010.
View 5 Replies View RelatedAny issues when copying certain object within my drawing from one part of the drawing to another, after selecting the objects I want to copy, I select the destination point and I cannot see any of the objects that I am copying, the command stops working and then I cannot see any objects in my drawing at all....its like I am zoomed out all the way and nothing is in my drawing...I save the drawing as is (seeing nothing on my screen)...calling it up again and all my linework, etc. is there again...it has happened in two different drawings so far within the last few months, and these dwgs. are not linked to each other at all....

Since the AeccLandFeatureline object doesn't have an offset method, how is this done? All I can think of is to convert the F/L to a LWPolyline, offset the polyline, create a new F/L from the offset polyline, set the new F/L elevations using the SetElevationsFromOffsetSource() method, and finally raise/lower the new F/L using the RaiseFeatureline() method.

View 9 Replies View RelatedWhen I first created my surface model, any point I moved would snap back to its original position like a rubber band. I had to do some edits so I unlocked this by .... Survey Tab>My survey database>Survey Points>Points, and then picked "Unlock In Drawing". This command unlocked All points in the drawing so I could edit them.
Now that I am done with my edits, how do I reverse this command globally, so as to get ALL points locked again (so they snap back to their original position like a rubber band if moved, like before) ?
With Autocad 2013 we have found an unconsistant problem with overwriting PDF files with same name. This only happens with publish command (ie, can just plot 1 layout to pdf and overwrite no problem). The funny thing is, it doesn't happen all the time - just 50% of the files (and yes, the file is not in use when attempting to overwrite).

Yesterday I was cruising along as normal when all of the sudden my escape key stopped working. I believe it happened after I accidentally loaded the dbconnection manager or something similar but not sure. When I envoke a command, the escape key does nothing. When I select something and hit the escape key, it doesn't deselect everything. I know it's not my keyboard because I'm using a laptop and both the attached keyboard and the keyboard on the laptop function the same in that the escape key doesn't work. I also have a Logitech Performance MX with a button set as the escape command and that doesn't work. When I type in cancel or ^c^c, the response is "unknown command".

"xxx.dwg" has a command in progress. Hit enter to cancel or [Retry]: *Cancel*
Never had this happen until this morning.
My command line is partially off the screen as shown in the attachments below. It started doing this after a reboot this morning. I can't drag it, select it, or find a way to move it in any way. I tried changing the resolution of my monitor thinking it might "bump" it back on the screen. I'm probably missing something easy but I can't seem to make any difference.
