AutoCAD Civil 3D :: No Targets Found In Script?

Jun 28, 2012

I'm not a regular user of civils but have created corridors with regions and road edges in previous version to 2013 with no problems.

Now trying to create a simple corridor in 2013 and when I try to set targets I get the message "no targets found in the script".What does this mean and is there something wrong with my template file?

Jun 15, 2012

I am trying to get an assembly to work but having no luck.  I have a 4' side walk with a (boulevard that varies in slope and distance from the back of curb) on the right side. (The sidewalk is existing and will be put back in the same place)  I have an alignment and profile for the inside edge of sidewalk.  (The inside edge of the sidewalk is the point I want to target). I have tried different targets and assemblies but get get anything to do what I need.  Any way on assemblies and getting them to work in the sections?

AutoCAD Civil 3D :: Subassembly Composer - Set Default Width When Using Targets

Oct 4, 2012

I can make a small subassembly that can vary it's deltaX and deltaY based on a 3d polyline (or alignment / profile) in  the drawing. However the subassembly does not get put in with default perameters outside of the areas where the targets exist.

I have been trying to come up with a decision tree to tell the subasembly to use default values where there are no targets to use, but I have not been able to find the correct syntax that works for those true/false decisions. My VB language knowledge is clearly lacking.....

Looking for small .pkt file to show how it is done?

On one pc the sheetset opens up fine when a drawing is opened.

On a second pc we get a message saying that the .dst can't be found.

If we then try to open the .dst via the open command on the sheetset manager we receive a dialog telling us the sheetset is invalid.

Both PC's are identical with the same network access rights etc. and both running C3D 2006.

AutoCAD Civil 3D :: No Point File Format Match Found

Jun 6, 2012

i made a survey, about 2000 points with my TSC3R6. I exported my CSV file to a PNEZD file with comma seperated. When i try ti import the file (CSV then i made a .txt), C3D tells me "no point file format match found". Then I opened the txt file, searched for any error that would not let me import my points. The only thing i have found would be the description of my points that sometimes had a space between 2 words (ex: bt balast and ht balast) so i changed it to bt-balast and ht-balast. i looked further and didnt found anything else. heres a sample of my txt file:

11251,5038721.804,370118.600,52.877,69
11252,5038722.437,370118.327,52.980,82

11254,5038725.967,370117.395,54.325,bt-balast
11255,5038727.637,370116.899,54.860,ht-balast
11256,5038728.983,370116.602,54.857,balast
11257,5038730.043,370116.150,54.839,ht-balast
11258,5038731.524,370115.635,54.345,bt-balast

11261,5038734.460,370114.525,53.505,350

AutoCAD Civil 3D :: Error 1308 Source File Not Found

Feb 8, 2011

I'm having a problem opening AutoCad Civil 3D 2010.

When I click the shortcut Windows starts configuration and then I get the following error message:

Verify that the files exists and that you can access it. Needless to say AutoCad wont open all I get is Retry or Cancel, selecting.

Retry just gets the same error so when I Cancel I then get "Are you sure you want to Cancel" which I select and then I get the message Fatal Error during installation.

This is a downloaded install from Autodesk and I dont have discs available.

DWG TruView,Autodesk Vault 2010 and Autodesk Design all installed OK.

System detail's; OS is 64 bit Windows Home 7 Ver 6.1.7600 with IE8

CPU AMD Athlon 11 P320 Dual Core, 4 gig RAM,500GB HDD running on a new Toshiba Laptop.

I've looked around at various forum's without success.A couple of sites offer what they call a fix but it turns out to be registry scanners.

AutoCAD Civil 3D :: No Compatible Objects Found - Looped Dialogue When Delete Empty Pipe Network

Jul 23, 2012

We have our pipe networks set up in our template.  But in actual use, we don't use them in every project.  Even in a project where we're using them, they will be d-ref'd around, so I don't need the actual network set up in each drawing.

I was deleting my unused, empty pipe networks from a drawing (to reduce file size and to avoid getting the "8 Objects not selected" dialogue when using quick select.)

I deleted 3 or 4 networks, then on the next one I got this message:

C3D was apparantly not content with merely informing me once of this interesting fact.  No, the message was obviously considered so important that it had to be repeated.  Many many times, for emphasis.  So many times, that after I'd keept my finger on the Escape key for a minute or two, the program still felt that I needed to see this important dialogue box.

I used Task Manager to get out of the program.

Photoshop :: Creating Targets (Cs9.0)

Aug 18, 2005

I just finished activating CS9.0 and have a few questions. I have never used photoshop before, and would like to start producing targets for smallbore rifle competitions. Problem is the targets have to be set up a certain way and I can't for the life of me figure out how to set circle diameters.

For instance. Most rifle scopes have 1/4 MOA incrememts in their adjustments 1 click at 100 yards adjusts the point of impact .250" so if your rifle is shooting 1" low and 1/2" right at 100 yards you would click your scope 4 clicks up, and 2 clicks left to get the bullet impact centered with your crosshairs.

I want to make an 8.5"x11" printable target like this

bullseye - .250" - Black
9 ring - .500" - white
8 ring - .750" - Black

so on and so forth till the 5 ring.

over that I would like to overlay a grid with .250" squares in it

at the bottom I would like a rectangle with text spaces labeled for - date, time, temperature, wind speed, wind direction, Rifle make/model. ammunition make/bullet weight group size, and a few other things.

AutoCAD Civil 3D :: Reference Surface (x) Not Found In Reference Drawing

Jul 28, 2011

I am getting this error in my production drawings.

My setup is as follows:

- EG.dwg has my existing surface in it. I create a data reference to use it in other drawings.

- Level One.dwg has the EG surface data referenced in, and I use this to create alignments, profiles, and finish surface. All of these are turned in to data references.

- Storm Sanitary.dwg has my pipe designs. I data reference in the two surfaces, profiles, and alignments, and create pipe networks. I create references for these networks.

- Plan Profile.dwg is the production sheet I'm getting this error from. Every one of my civil objects is data referenced in to this drawing. Everything is inserted correctly, the pipes show correct FG surface elevations for their rims, etc.

BUT when I open this drawing, I get this error. I assume it's because my FG surface is not directly in the storm sanitary.dwg.

How do I get rid of this error, without combining drawings, or promoting the surface to one or more drawings? Isn't this exactly what data references is made for?
